I get what you’re saying, but Tavares has had a very unique situation. He’s never had a real star team in his entire career until Toronto, and has multiple dominating seasons carrying the islanders. On top of that, he has the advanced stats to back it up. Kind of a what if scenario
Interesting to shut Geno out of the best Russian player of all time so quick. I know he doesn’t get the praise and ovation ovechkin gets in a bigger market in DC but I’m taking malkin in a 7 game series over ovechkin. Malkin creates opportunity for his teammates and his playmaking is underrated ovechkin will score in maybe 3 of the games and that’s great but he won’t show up on the score sheet the other 4 but I know malkins putting up atleast 7+ points up with a goal or assist per game and when malkin does want to turns it on or get mad he’s the most unstoppable player there’s been since Mario. And malkin also having a 1.186 ppg over ovi 1.109 also doing it as the second face of the franchise had he had his own team he’d get more acknowledgement around the league I’m not saying ovi isn’t but it’s not as open/shut as you made it seem.
Casey will still be a stud he just needs to get THE FUCK out of buffalo. Buffalo absolutely kills players careers needs to get to a better team and he will be a stud. He also only two years in he will be great
@13Shelby He's a fine player, but HoF? No way. And it's not even close. I don't even have to look it up to know he hasn't won anything in the NHL. Not one piece of hardware. Season high of maybe 90 points? Danny Heatley has a better case

Mitlelstat is doing poorly because buffalo tried putting him in major roles when he should've taken a year or 2 to develop
I am gonna get hate for this but people believing Tavares is Hall Of Fame caliber player shows me that he truly has become pretty overrated
I get what you’re saying, but Tavares has had a very unique situation. He’s never had a real star team in his entire career until Toronto, and has multiple dominating seasons carrying the islanders. On top of that, he has the advanced stats to back it up. Kind of a what if scenario
Gibson, multiple Vezina's? Funny.
Great video but Poehling is pronounced pay-ling
Don’t think that Lafreienere will win Calder, I think it’ll be Shesterkin
Doubt it it’s usually unheard of for goalies to win it
Wow I cant believe that Russian player just destroyed the Canadian Goalie like that, I hope he got a penalty.
ehh my boi Bergeron, Pasta and lickin Marchand would have been destroying more rn if nhl was still on. Dis sad.
Casey will still be a stud he just needs to get THE FUCK out of buffalo. Buffalo absolutely kills players careers needs to get to a better team and he will be a stud. He also only two years in he will be great
...why is tavares a future hall of famer?
@13Shelby He's a fine player, but HoF? No way. And it's not even close. I don't even have to look it up to know he hasn't won anything in the NHL. Not one piece of hardware. Season high of maybe 90 points? Danny Heatley has a better case
Tavares isn’t a future hall of famer
Austin Whipple yes he is
@@Me-vl6tp He never put up more than 90 points, never won a cup, no individual awards as well, that doesn't look like a hall of famer to me
Félix Pellerin 769 points in 814 games is hall of fame
@@Me-vl6tp right now I could probably name you 20 active players who are better than Tavares. There's not enough room for everyone. And no, that point total is not enough to induce someone in the hof all by itself. It would have to be backed up by stanley cups and individual awards
Félix Pellerin give him time. He’s only been in the NHL for 11 years. He’s got like 7-8 more seasons and he’ll forgo get 1000 points. I’m a ranger fan btw
Bergy is just incredible
Fedorov is the best two way player ever
Hmmmm well the world juniors and the nhl are to different things lmao???
I watched mittlestad in high school he was never nhl caliber
You're kidding right?
SnaggelStyle he might have been the best Minnesota high school player ever
Sandin should have won in 2020 lol
Tavares......hall of fame??
That seems like a bit of a stretch to me man.....
Mitts will be fine. Definitely was overrated and I think that got to him and hurt his development a ton but he’ll be decent
thomas chabot was just insane
Mittlestat never had good line mates
John tavares
What a stupid thing to say that world juniors is more prestigious than mens wold championships.
Well, it is. In fact, it was even viewed more than last years Stanley cup, and more than the 2018 olympics
@@RobTalksHockey yea but world Champs is the bigger tournament. I don't know where you got these numbers but globally that definetly is not the case.
This guy is just calling everyone a Hall of Famer... Malkin, Crosby, Ovechkin, Toews, and Kane are Hall of Famers. Just because you are a star like Bergeron or Tavares doesn't mean you'll cut it...
Bergeron is 100% a hall of famer. He is arguably the best defensive forward in NHL history with 4 Selkes which ranks #1, and he is bound to get more. There is definitely an argument for Tavares though.
@@RobTalksHockey, For sures: Crosby, Ovechkin, Malkin, Kane, Keith, Chara, Thornton, Toews.
Probably: Bergeron, Karlsson, Datsyuk, Fleury, Sedins, Perry, Doughty, Zetterberg.
Good chance: Getzlaf, Kopitar, Luongo, Lundqvist, Stamkos, Price, Marleau.
In the future: McDavid, Kucherov, Tavares, Hedman, Benn, Weber.
In a weak year... Staal, Backstrom, Kessel, Quick, Rask. bleacherreport.com/articles/2137808-ranking-the-28-active-nhl-players-most-likely-to-make-the-hockey-hall-of-fame
I guess. That article was written by a random journalist who didn’t mention his 4 going on 5 selkes. Id take a actual analysts opinion over his
@@RobTalksHockey, If they had won at least one of their two finals losses (to either Chicago or St. Louis) he would be a lock.
Bergeron is a 100% hall of famer.
- Stanley Cup winner
- 4x Selke winner
- 2x Olympic gold medalist (those count, it is hockey HOF, not only NHL HOF)
- Wolrd Cup gold medalist
- 1000+ NHL games
- Might get 1000 NHL points (will be 35 in July, currently at 869 points)
