It really is a must buy.
For the decent, I find it easier to put the AP into IAS mode and move the throttles to idle.

Lovely video. For the ILS approach/runway is it possible to add it from the FMC to save entering the ILS frequency manually?
I believe that you need to enter the frequencies manually. I Twitch and livestream flying the 146 often, so if I discover otherwise, I'll make a mention of it.

Not tried it on the Series S yet, but works fine on PC.
Found another issue😂 using the honeycomb flight controls with Logitech pedals, the rudders won’t move when starting at a gate and doing a cold and dark start, but the tiller will, stuff is just annoying
Oh no. I did find a similar issue with the V1 Rudders on Xbox.
Do you have a solution for the nose wheel issue? I can’t control the steering of the nose wheel with the controller so that the plane only rolls straight forward 🤷🏼♂️

I set up the sync button on my velocity one flight stick, but isn’t this just the same as disabling AP master, when I press the sync button it disables AP so the aircraft stops following flight path while I adjust trim.
Using Sync is effectively temporarily deactivating your AP; but it let's you refine a VS climb or decent and will lock onto it when pressing it again.
Probably best using Sync when you're locked on to your current route bearing.

It should still function correctly.
Got a simbrief account but where do I find my account number?
Click the 'Account Settings' on the left, you should see 'Pilot ID' there.

Absolutely.
Everytime I enter my simbrief pilot id on the tablet to fetch my OFP, it just gets stuck and loads, the circle at the bottom right just spins forever

Nice tutorial. Thanks. I have got one issue on Xbox. Uploading from simbrief I can’t select the desired flight plan. Simbrief just offers one single plan. I don’t know how to select other plans within the plane. Can you give me a hint?
Which route are you trying to plot? I'll give it a go in SImbrief.
@@Huddison i have no problem to plot the plans but to select a determined plan for direct import into the 146
@@celebri346 I think you have to load the flight plan you want first on simbrief, it should use it if you do that

You didn't use it, but that OAT dial at 10:16 is around 18 degrees, not 23. Wrong side of the 20 to be 23. :)

Great aircraft. 100% operable with Xbox controller alone. Great EFB (did you know clicking the CG window sets takeoff trim?).
$70 is probably too much for any aircraft given the market of 10M+ MSFS installs but the BAE can be as complex or as accessible as you want it to be(with liveries and awesome written manual) unlike the other $70 aircraft on Xbox (cough). Only thing missing is a detailed takeoff performance calculator and button bindings to deploy the airbrake independent of the roll spoilers.
I also have not experienced those stutters at anytime but the London area is notoriously heavy on both Xbox and PC performance.
I remember buying the PMDG 777 for FSX (many years ago) for £80; which is around $100 - any aircraft less than that is a bargain to me now ;)
@@Huddison I hear you - MSFS is definitely a different market - the $13/$20 An-225 made $1M (all USD) in a couple months! Admittedly many probably bought it to support the aircraft or Ukraine but that is a lot of units sold.
Thank you for covering this aircraft on Xbox. I needed some assurance before purchasing and while expensive it performs as advertised and exactly the same as PC, perhaps with some texture resolution concessions but those would be the same on a lower end PC anyway.

I’m using a controller and whenever I try to type something into the payload and fuel using the efb keyboard, nothing shows up. Any ideas?
If you type a number and select enter does anything happen?
@@Huddison thanks for reaching back, I tried entering the loads using that method, sometimes it’s different (not what I entered), sometimes no difference is made

🚨🚨🚨 I'm lost on my 146 just Flight I can't write my sim brief ID on the OFP tab can you help me?
If I recall correctly: bring up the tablet's keyboard to enter your Simbrief - or, bring up the tablet keyboard, close it and use a physical keyboard to enter the ID.
It's a bit fiddly, but hopefully you'll get there; come and join the discord and we'll be able to help you further.
