I was hearing sounds almost behind my ears! The display is oh so immersive and get this: when you touch the keyboard deck, your fingerprints are not at all noticeable unlike the "Space Black color" from Apple. This base model even though the RAM is soldered is my next laptop to replace my 2022 Asus M16. Please update us on how your G16 is holding up 👍

      I'll cover that in the next video when I break down the different performance modes in armoury crate. But on turbo it's pretty loud. Without measuring it, I don't think it's as bad as other reviewers mentioned. It's gaming laptop loud.

    • @tinybit780
      @tinybit780 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@consumertechwarehouse9381 I have to agree, though, that the low wattage will force you to use Turbo for some demanding AAA games. And then it's loud! I Measured about 55-57 dB from 20cm distance. The Blade 16 on Quiet has the same performance as the G16 on Turbo. Balanced with 49-50 dB is performing better.
      If you're not playing the most demanding games on Ultra, like Alan Wake 2, or want extremely high FPS for competitive shooters, it's not a huge problem.

      @consumertechwarehouse9381 I watched video in background, look at your metrics. And what you're talking about? Oled... everyone talk about the same all day long, who doesn't now about contrasts and qualities of OLED compared to miniled or ips? What about burnouts of pixels on premium high priced device, and cost to repair it? Maybe that's why apple don't place OLED in their laptops, see as many other manufacturers?
      Soldiered RAM absurd, when you limit it with 32gb, instead of 64. (Which youve mentioned).
      3rd fan which makes pitch noise (below RTX 4080). And noise of this laptop is higher compared to competitors, people who watch your videos, watch them to choose what to buy in the end, while you just talking about "how thin it is", srsly?
      SD card slot speed, ubs-c charging speed and hit, oled burnout, trackpad unintentional double clicking, 3rd fan and pitch noise, db lvls in regimes, battery tests, comparison to previous years models (to which it loses, especially to those with AMD in every aspect, unless it's about how "thin" it became).
      Lenove Yoga 9i is obvious for comparison, Razer Blades also, Samsung Book Ultra 4, maybe XPS, and not ARM based macbooks on MacOS... I sorry that you was offended, but as I said, senseless review. For "thoughs" people watch MKHD, Linus and Unboxing terapy.
