I've honestly never found Chazz to be Jaden's main rival, or rival at all following season 1. To me, he always screamed the Joey of the series. First he started off like a bully to Jaden and the others, but through their friendship, he learns the value of friends and the strength of other cards. His Ojama deck also has a ton of parallels to Joey's luck based deck.
I know what you mean. But when he defeated Astor Phoenix in season four he reclaim status for being a serious opponent for Jaden
Azure Saiyan manga Chazz is more of a rival. Anime Chazz becomes a joke
Jadens real rival, yugi vs kaiba style, would have to be phoenix or zane very elite duelist originally hostile (less so with zane) but eventually becoming a friends that share great respect, also phoenixs arc with the d somewhat resembles the arcs kaiba had with noah/orichalcospricks/vonshroeder(?)

Manjoume and Kaiba are one and the same. Both start off as serious opponents and then just become the MC’s underdog and not a challenge to them anymore lol. Difference being Manjoume actually has development and becomes a decent human being along with it. Sho is the Jounouchi of the GX.
I think out of any YuGiOh character, Chazz has the most character development.
compared to other GX Characters, yeah. compared to other Yugioh characters outside of GX, not really
+Wolfox Duel Monsters lacked good character development IMHO. 5Ds had some decent development, mostly Jack and Trudge I think, but it peters out during the last two seasons, though I guess the same could be said of GX.
in my opinion that's Jaden. He becomes more and more mature as the series progresses

I love that catchphrase, it is so terrible I can't help but to absolutely love it. I imagine that the 10-100-1000-10,000 pun is just as bad of a pun to the Japanese.

The chazz is beyond his understanding
YGX manga gave me different view of Chazz (Manjoume). He was still proud but far less conceited in the manga than he was in the anime. He also didn't have puppy love with Alexis/Asuka in the manga (it was Misawa instead). Besides he never leave Duel Academy in the manga since he was one of the alumni alongside Judai, Misawa etc.
he was not typical hero but not selfish and cynical enough to be called antihero

Chazz was legit one of the few rivals that is actually shown to be a friend and hangs out with the Protagonist. He was a less edgy more comedic Kaiba with more growth.
I feel like his actual main rival was Zane or he was the man on top of the mountain.

Instead of the Ojamas, his spirit partners should’ve been The Armed Dragons. Levels 3, 5, and 7 could’ve done the role as brothers as well, as aces.

I know many people will disagree but
Jun Manjoume is my most favorite rival among all rivals in Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. He had the best chatacter development and he used many types of deck and combined 3 of it later (VWXYZ/Armed Dragons/Ojamas) I think that's awesome enough. He also defeated 50 North Academia students, defeated Society of Light students, freeing them (also winning GX tournament) and he defeated his brother, Chosaku using 0 ATK point deck when the requirement were monsters under 500 ATK points
Many people say Manjoume doesn't fit to be Judai's rival, Edo/Ryou would be better but... I don't think so. They didn't interacted much with Judai except dueling unlike Manjoume did
He also defeated Edo in Season 4, and there was one duel where Manjoume supposed to win against Judai but he lost on purpose due of the order of his manager as Ojamanjoume, I always count that as a win anyway
Overall, he's an awesome rival and an awesome character despite of his arrogant, stand-offish attitude. He may be a simp but I like that comic-relief part of his, it always bring smiles to me
I didn't liked Manga Manjoume that much. It lacks so many things from his anime counterpart, which is why I like the Anime Manjoume more. Many people say Manga Manjoume is better due of the fact he defeated Judai two times. Though, Kid Manjoume is so cute to see

Manga version of Manjoume is just more badass unlike his anime version tho.
His deck in the manga suits him better IMO.

you forgot to mention how he acquired the Dark Scorpion monsters after defeating their spirits.
+MrElastcity I'm seriously disappointed that they weren't used in an episode considering that the majority of the shadow riders with one exception aren't seen again. But Don Zaloog is also monster could've appeared in later episodes.
I'm sad those cards didn't appeared more often mainly because they come across as a bubbling group of adventurers and I feel that would have when well with chazz's personality

+MatthiasPannula Heck why not BOTH? I seriously think it would be possible to use the Ojamas & Light & Darkness Dragon in the same deck.
Attributes line up and Ojamas are great as tribute materials due to the multiple swarms they have.
I honestly liked how Chazz deck isn't just one theme deck but more multiple archetypes (xyz, armored dragons, ojamas, along with a series of strong and weak monsters) so it could work and I would have loved to see him use that card
Thing about Chazz is that he doesn't stick to just one archetype for long. He constantly changes his main archetype and tends to merge them.

I think it is rather funny that in a way that Vellian Crowler in a funny Cosmic sorta way foreshadowed Chazz will end up using Ojamas when Crowler opened his jacket and one of the cards that 1st got a close up being Ojama King I found this somewhat funny.

Decks for rebooted chazz for a mix of anime and manga. His duel spirit partner is Lightning, Dragon Ruler of Drafts and it's evolved form Tempest.
1st deck: Dragon Rulers ( lost all his cards except Drafts and Tempest)
2nd deck: Monarchs
3rd Deck: Ojama (North Academia entrance deck)
4th deck: armed dragon thunder (main)

I didn't read the manga but at 4:56 we clearly see dark end Dragon which is a synchro monster and the synchro summoning wasn't available back then ?
Dark End and Light End weren't Synchros. But when made real, Konami turned them into Synchros to make them more competitive.

Instead of the Armed dragon cards,he shoulda had the Horus the Black Flame card.It makes more since Horus the Black Flame lv8 had 3000 attack like Blue-Eyes.

I had no idea that his main spirit partners in the manga were different--only watched the sub, so that is a pleasant surprise. Watching him grow from a jealousy ridden guy to one who manages to hold his own against two jerk brothers was amazing.
