Unlike series, in the manga, Atticus was one of the strongest duelists in Duel Academy and was as powerful as Hell kisser Zane He used his Sphier deck to take all of his opponents down.
They hinted at this in the anime. They said “Since Zane is gone, Her (Alexis) brother is probably the best duelist here!” Or something along those line. It was in the episode where crowler tried to get them to become pop singers
I've noticed that he uses cards that Joey was known for using
I always liked this character. I think he's really downplayed and underrated. He had a big and interesting role for sure but I wish they did more with him. He's also really funny. Since they brought his sister back maybe he'll return too using those new Red-Eyes in Clash Of Rebellions.

@@SwagokuLion I actually like that we ended up getting another duelist who used Red-Eyes. I love that card so much and it’s one of my favorites of all time so it’s always a treat to see it in the show even after DM. Shame he never won a duel onscreen, he’s got a great deck in my opinion and really deserved at least 1 win onscreen.
@@justinlewis1248 i watched his duel with his sister in episode 60 the guy Atticus didn't use red eyes their but he had a card that added 3 THOUSAND ATK points to any monster. He should have won but he throws the match

Can you do separate parts for the anime and manga stories? For instance, if you were to do Chazz (I'm not sure if you already did him), you should include things like he and Jaden together defeated Tragoedia, his deck in the manga uses big dragon-type monsters to negate the opponent's card effects with Light and Darkness Dragon and uses monsters like Light End Dragon and Dark End Dragon (both effect monsters, not synchros) to sacrifice ATK points to either decrease the ATK of a monster or just send it to the graveyard, etc.

When I was a kid I always hoped this was the case since Alexis was a ‘strong’ dueling lady with blonde hair like Mai and Atticus was a ‘strong’ duelist with a Red Eyes deck and brown hair like Serenity. No groundbreaking evidence, but I was 8

Is it just me but does anyone think these two are related or children of Joey and Valentine. Simaler hair he has red eyes black dragon. He is goofy confident with a bit of fancy tastes kinda like Mei's sense of style. His sister also has a no nonsense attitude like Mei and is one of the most robust characters in the series like Mei
These 2 are way too old. Joey is only 8 years older than Atticus so it's impossible for him to be his father.
Yeah, cannily only 8-10 years have passed between the original Yugioh series and GX in season 1, making the original crew 26-28. So when Atem was still in Yugi’s body everyone in the GX (student wise) would’ve been young kids (maybe 5-8).

Oh I remember Atticus he was funny
He was a bit too goofy, not to mention way too much of a playboy due to he easily flirts with girls and how they always go gaga over him. Even the school nurse has the hots for him, which I don't really get, I mean yeah the majority of the female student body, I kinda get, because it's a high school setting, but the nurse? That's kinda pushing it a little.

So you guys remember when Aster said to Jaiden that he can't copy him because he was the first to use Elemental Heroes. Well if you go by that logic wouldn't the same go for Atticus too, for copy Joey's deck with the red eyes black dragon?
Joey doesn't have a Red-Eyes deck
In the original, Aster/Edo didnt care about "copying" a deck, he despised Judai/Jaden because he saw E/D-HEROS as a symbol of justice ( and a validation of his own vigilantism) and not some toys to have fun with it (what Judai/Jaden dit at the time). Dub destroyed the original conflict and sucks hard.

+Coleten Man I like to do the side characters since there less well known as the mains. As well it gives me time to improve my format for the videos for when i do the main characters. With your channel i'd be more than happy to put you in my featured box on my channels main page. However you'd need to start your channel and have at least 15 or so videos before i do. A lot of people tend to make 2-3 videos and give up. Helps to show some commitment to being a content creator :)
I still think Atticus is okay and funny but he's personally the most 4getable character that's not even that interesting.
