    This was very interesting because it graphically presented the anatomical structure. Watching this video just once gave me a whole new understanding of the male anatomy. I wish Dr. Susie Gronski was one of my teachers. Her approach is so pleasant and quickly understandable.

    Have you ever explored the fact that 80+% of U.S. men have had severe trauma to the superficial (subcutaneous) dartos fascia, meaning there is a likely chance of nerve damage?
    Do you have any thoughts on what effect that may have on the pelvic floor?

    Greetings! A hemorrhoidal thrombosis can affect the blood circulation of the muscles that support the erection!?

    This may sound a little weird, but this has happened to me at least quite a few times. Do males tend to get an erection shortly after pooping? Or does that really depend on other things as well such as your caffeine intake, how long since the last time you had an erection, etc...?

    So the muscles involved with erection and ejaculation are the same? The difference is that they squeeze during ejaculation? I ask this because I have too much tension in my pelvic floor and I'm doing physiotherapy, especially to be able to relax these muscles, but when I relax and experiment with sex or masturbation I feel like my erection is worse than usual. What I don't understand is if to control premature ejaculation I should try to completely relax these muscles or if I should learn to hold the tension without squeezing. Thank you for the content!

    I have seen a lot of sexologists and few urologist saying the prostate massage (milking the prostate) is beneficial... BUT that's when you have a problem right? A healthy prostate don't need a finger poking it, right? I have the sensation that it would cause more harm then good.
    And should it be done by a doctor or a professional masseur?... If it's your wife or a sex masseur can they make more harm because they don't have a good knowledge of what it is suppose to do?
    Thanks

      Great questions! There's no conclusive evidence that prostate massage is beneficial for health or when there is an issue like pelvic pain. That being said, there are people who find relief with manual therapy to the prostate or to the surrounding soft tissue structures (a qualified health professional would be best). In addition, some prostate owners really enjoy and find prostate play pleasurable and fun! So, whether it's for play or therapeutic purposes (or both!), it's always good to get to know your body so that you can best provide feedback to your partner. It's also best the person touching your prostate has knowledge about this part of your body. There are sensitive structures in this region (like neurovascular structures) that may get "cranky" if irritated.

    Great video how big is the pelvic floor? how big is a full bladder?

    • @DrSusieGTeam
      @DrSusieGTeam  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! All bodies are unique in their structure so the size of the pelvis including pelvic floor is relative. As far as the bladder, on average, the bladder can hold up to 2 cups of urine (400-600ml).

    When I get stressed and angry I tend to clinch and I'm pretty I have a tight and angry pelvic floor is there anything I can to relax it so I can have a happy love life and pelvic floor?

    • @DrSusieGTeam
      @DrSusieGTeam  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! When your mind is relaxed, your body will also feel relaxed. I would start to be curious about situations in your life that turn the tension/pain dial up and situations that turn the tension/pain dial down. This awareness will clue you into ways to navigate your tension dial better.

    The male sexual anatomy is well known and has been for quite some time. I'm curious as to how, in female sexual anatomy, knowledge of the clitoris and its centralized function in female sexual performance managed to be missed or suppressed through all the decades of medical scientific research? Since its location, structure and function were first proven in just the 1990's, and its known homologous relationship to the penis now clear, how did this escape the scientific world for so long? Was it misguided assumptions about female sexuality, or perhaps social and cultural suppression of understanding a woman's sex drive, or maybe something else? I'm very interested to know. Now that this information is available, it makes a world of difference for men in understanding women's sexuality, and for woman in understanding themselves.
