90% of people in subsaharan Africa are poor. If it takes a person to earn 2000$ minimum wage in month in USA, it would take 2 years to make same 2000$ in sub Sahara Africa.

While I'm learning to draw, I can be learning how to upload a complete book. If I decide to take a course I'll take yours. Great video as always. Chief procrastinator here. I could procrastinate in the Olympics if it were a sport. Why? Complete lack of confidence. In my work life (accounting) I was full of confidence in what I was doing but since being made redundant when they outsourced my department and being 'Old' I can't get a job despite a degree and accounting qualifications..so confidence has been diminishing over the last few years. I hear what you say, just get going, actions earn money but it's hard when you just feel you'll do it all wrong..where do I start, puzzle book, log books colouring book etc etc... so many options. I can't seem to focus. Issue is (without life story) wrong side of 50, broke trying to live off what our government call benefits. (If only I'd arrived illegally by boat I'd get everything for free for up to 2 years... who knew..) I basically need £2k ish per month to live.. i guess similar in dollars. . Not going to happen immediately but can't afford courses at the moment. Our benefits dont pay you to eat or heat, just for somewhere to freeze and starve indoors. I could find enough for the professional covers etc.., sorry to much info.. just can't get my head around getting started.... keep up the good work.

the problem that i can see in amazon kdp is that i'm a creative person , i love to share a valuable and realy good quality books and novels in the aspect of the story it self and the ideas , and i think and i never tried that amazon kdp not for people like me who want to publish one thing in a 3 months but it's so good , i think it's about quantity and only that , i hope that i'm wrong and i will try to puplish something valuable and better than every one in the market which is a novel about anvention and a coloring book in the same time 2 in 1 , instead of doing only a novel or only a coloring book , i took time doing it and i almost finish , i hope it surprise me and get at least 1 person ho loves my work and like it .

First off I am a huge fan and I started KDP after i saw your videos. My question is if I write books in the "business niche", and while i am researching i find out that there is a a good opportunity or gap in the "Pets niche", should i jump the track and make a book or two in the "pets niche?" Or if there is some other topic which is popular and trending, should i jump to that even though i don't have any authority or expertise to speak about the topic in that niche? And then also the fact that if people visit my author profile, they will see that i have written books on so many various topics and i will seem like a jack of all trades and the master of none. Please do advise.

But the real fact is, getting a few dollars as net income is still a good thing for many authors based on my observation of their discussions going through various social media sites. I recently came to know about your channel, and I appreciate your way of giving information and like them. Compared to other course sellers, you are talking in a somewhat realistic manner. My suggestion/expectation is, to mention the expenses also when telling the income so that people can have a balanced view before joining any kind of course about earning from KDP. From your sarcastic reply, I understand that you are not interested in telling about the expense details. It made me think that you are not different from any other typical course seller.
@@QPT that’s why I have an entire playlist called “kdp income reports” that breaks down income/expenses. It’s too long if i do it in every video. I earned over 1.5mil. I am still a millionaire after paying expenses and taxes, so that should be enough to give people a general idea

Personally, it encourages me to switch my career to books-related business. Still, my suggestion is, instead of highlighting the Royalties, it is better to highlight the net income in every video related to course promotion so that people interested in joining the course can get a clear picture. They may not be watching your playlist as I missed watching. This is just my suggestion. It is up to you to take it or not.

Sounds like you produced a book no one is looking for. Ads only show your book to more people. If people don’t want your book, doesn’t matter how many people you show it to. This is why topic research before making the book is important
