Hello Sean, just a suggestion. Why don’t you open a new kdp account and track its progress live for next 12 month. You can make videos of the trick and tips which you applied each month and show us the monthly sales report etc. it would be inspiring and super insightful for new kdp users. Thank you😊

Thank you so much for analyzing my book in this review. Thanks for the kind words on design. And I totally agree with your feedback! This was one of my first books published on KDP, and I didn’t fully understand the importance of positioning and the book title. Unfortunately, the title is one of the few things you can’t change. Well, at least I have learned a lot, and I am better prepared for my next book projects. Maybe I will take it down and republish with a new title? Until then, if anyone has Kindle Unlimited, and want to try the beauty of music prompts for creative writing, it is still there for a while. 🎵📕 🎧

I noticed the new editing but maybe a little too much, I understand the reasoning behind it however it seemed like sometimes it wasn't adding anything positive. For example there was movement where there wasn't movement needed or the sound was maybe a little too loud on the paper cracking when you were speaking :)

as always, excellent video full of useful ideas. I'd like to know your opinion on how to make organic sales of a book. I succeed for a while, I make him make a lot of sales with ams and I make him rank well. then, I turn off the ads, it sells reasonably well for a week/10 days and then it starts to stop making organic sales. How come?

You suggested on some of the books you reviewed to change or edit the title and/or the subtitle.
Of course, it is not possible to edit after publishing so would your advice be to unpublish an existing book, losing all previous reviews, and then re-publish?
Yes you have to republish. It’s more of an advice for the future books
I thought you can change the title on ebooks?
As stated on the KDP bookshelf (kindle ) they say "Enter your title as it appears on the book cover. This field cannot be changed after your book is published" @@firstmedicalpainrehab

Hi from South Africa! Sean, I followed a few of your TH-cam videos as well as some other TH-camrs about self-publishing before I tried to publish my first book FAR FILMSKOOL - FAR Boek 1 - Afrikaanse Uitgawe (in eBook and Paperback in Amazon KDP), but I am sorry to say it didn't look nice - the system took out all blank spaces between paragraphs as we used to type in South Africa, without communicating with me. Well, I am waiting for an email from them after the Christmas celebrations. Do I need to go now through all four of my books to do it the INDENT-way at the beginning of the paragraphs? Also after I left a heading for COPYRIGHT Amazon didn't put any information about the choices I made in the submission form. And then it is the not nice Table of Content with my too-large letters for the page and no change to correct it - after all the effort I just submit the book to see what will come out of it... probably I need to resubmit the books. You sound like a nice author - I hope you can help. Regards. Adriana Willemse

Love your content! Just want to say capitalising every word on the book description is grammatically wrong. It’s more a trend rather than ‘looking more professional’ as you’ve mentioned. Having said that I will take your advice though.
can you help me with my book this is my first book and i'm over my head with KDP
I would like to know your opinion about a problem that i have. I am trying to rank my book under the kdp program on the keyword Craft For kids (in the generic result not within the category result) but amazon doesn't seem to show my book and I can't get impressions when I run amazon ads. It seems that in helium10 I don't have the FIELD-ASIN INDEX mark . At the same time selling the book as a bundle with FBA is working great for this keyword .....
Any idea why this is happening? I feel like I am losing sales because I can't get ranked on the same keywords as with FBA.
It seems that Books published under kdp that rank for this type of keyword are rare... the only common pattern I have found in this type of book is
- Belonging to the same category but not mentioning the word.
- In Helium10 they have the FIELD-ASIN INDEX

Thanks. I've been watching a few of your videos. I understand English is a second language and you speak ESL well but you might want to learn the difference between when to use "is" and "are". Remember, "is" is singular, "are" is plural.
