If you’re picking it up from the store you’d have to show your school ID. If you’re doing it online they use unidays to get your school information. They can also email you asking for information and if not provided they have all rights to charge the card used at purchase

If they do not find your information in their college database, they will either call you to get more information, or just charge you the full price for the software or hardware you purchased....
