that made me kinda sad when you said “if they only have a couple designer listings and the account only made recently” because that’s me ! i’m just trying to sell my 2 designer items for a good price and i don’t want people to think i’m trying to scam.
I’m sorry, they are getting better and better at scamming unfortunately. A good sign to recognize a spamming account is the price of an item of a well known designer. Let me give you an example: a new Louis Vuitton purse that retails for $1500, they will price under $500. And why? Because if you price at over $500, that purse will go straight to Poshmark for authentication and scammers are trying to avoid that. As long as you keep your designer items at over $500 and do not respond to fishy texts asking to take your transaction off Posh, that will keep you on the right track and you will build credibility as a seller. Also, try to list a few more affordable items so your closet looks a little bit more personal;) Please let us know what your closet name is, so we can support you! Happy selling🫶
Oh nooo, I m so sorry! I wish I had more subscribers so they can spread the word but unfortunately the reselling niche is not very extended🤷♀️ I’m doing my best to bring awareness bout the scammers
Thank you for your video! I literally just closed a window after a posher (marked ambassador but likely a bot) asked me to e-mail her for verification of a purchase. I have been on Poshmark before, but it has been years, so I thought it was the new norm. I entered a credit card number though and not debit. but got sketched out and closed the window, after waiting 2 minutes for the website to load. After that, I blocked the email and flagged it spam. Now I know to block all those weird bots that claim they want to buy but need an external email to confirm my listing. Thank God I closed the site.
@@ThePoshThrifter my card was locked. Changed all my passwords, email, email recovery numbers, and Poshmark password and all. Calling the bank tomorrow morning to warn them. Thanks!!🙏🏾💪🏾
