Cloths at thrift stores and there yo help poor families cloth themselves. So shitty of people to take from them just to resell it for double and triple. Basically stealing from the poor.
Incorrect. Thrift stores are a retail location and the profits they make go to helping the poor in their community. So actually, the more money thrift stores make, the more they can help those in need. I'm not sure if you've ever been in a thrift store but there is an over abundance of clothing. They would never run out and be unable to provide affordable clothing to those who need it. The clothing industry is one of the largest contributors to the landfill and resellers like us allow clothing to get a second chance and keep it from being wasted. That's why it's called sustainable fashion. Please do your research before attacking resellers. We are trying to help our communities.
That's wrong us resellers basically support thrift stores which are a non profit organizations that donate to the needy and help families, if anything we are helping them the more we buy....
Someone claimed she had spina bifida (the illness was misspelled) and outlined how she only has $700 of disposable income a month to spend on necessities. I have significantly less than that, and I hustle like a dwank. And she expected me to send her stuff that was already priced super low for basically free.
Whenever a buyer gives me a sob story I automatically want to block them and not sell to them. Its a manipulation tactic. I would have told her if she doesn't have enough money she shouldn't be shopping.
Great video. Thank you. I've been selling locally for about a year now. It's fun, but slow and not much in profits, so I decided to expand to Poshmark. After a lot of research and watching videos like this I strongly believe that I am better off not doing it. I just don't want to deal with the stress and complications due to these low life scammers that are taking hold in almost every place and situations in our lives. Selling locally is not free from scammers either, but I don't have to deal with shipping. I can interact with real and (99% of the times) lovely people instead.
Thank you for this video. I’m learning a lot from you. lol….on the nursing home story. I used to work in one. There were so many donated items that often ultimately things had to be trashed or sent elsewhere. No one went without a coat. People will try anything 😣
Thank you just so much for this video I just received an email and that's exactly what the woman was doing trying to get me to give her information outside the platform so with your advice I'm going to report her immediately thanks again and keep putting out those great
Congrats on your Poshmark Ambassador 2! I signed up for the program on your link share so hopefully you will gain some benefit. I trust you so I will try to see if its less of a headache for me to try to use as I think its a great option!
I sold a perfect Victorias Secret Gold Label Robe to someone who burned the back edges of the sleeves hoping to get a further discount. I asked that the item be returned. What do you do with that?
Sorry to hear that! If it were me I'd contact Ebay and open up a case. They should side with you if you take pictures of how the item is now vs. what it looked like when you sent it off.
Hello! Just posted my 1st item and sold the same day, but I just wanted to know if poshmark will always give my money as a seller if the buyer marked it as not received? Thank you!
What if someone as been on for 3 years plus and have no sales or purchases. And no listings. And they like an item. Should I send an offer? I’m new to POSHMARK.
Hello... what’s do you do if a buyer doesn’t pick up their package at the post office and it’s been there for over a week? I contacted PM and they seem to be delaying with their response! Is PM suppose to release my funds ?
Hello! Did they have their item shipped to a post office or to their home address? As long as you shipped with the provided label Poshmark should side with you. If the item shows as delivered, Poshmark will release your funds after a few days.
Canada post made an attempt at the buyers address but they “were not home “ So Canada post brought the package to the postal office so they person can go there , shoe ID and pick up the package. But they have yet to pick up the package 12 days later and PM has yet to release my funds b/c the package has not been physically delivered to the seller .
@@mishascoon6363 I'm not familiar with Poshmark Canada. I'm not sure how much help I can be. So sorry you're dealing with that. If it were me, I'd try to reach out to PM support.
Hi I've been noticing a lot of scams lately and missing packages I was on a roll doing well always ship on time. But now I'm almost scared to ship. Today I sold a jacket and check out the buyer she is new Jan 2021and has more followers then me I've been selling 8 month is that a red flag in your opinion having a lot of followers super fast and only have a few items up???
Hello! I still experience scammers from time to time. I just work really hard to always have protections in place so that the platform will side with me (lots of pictures, measurements, upload tracking, and always being professional in messages). I try determine scams based on someone's actions rather than their profile. It does seem strange that they have so many followers but as long as the transaction goes through and they aren't doing anything sketchy I wouldn't worry about it.
If i make my eyes blurry while watching this, the triangles above your head look like cat ears. LOL.. Its just stuff hanging on the wall in the background.
Please someone help me. I know it’s not allowed in not good idea to trade shoes or any stuff at poshmark. But I make a trade with a women. We both agreed to trade our shoes. But she scammed me she don’t drop here shoes. And I’m telling her to return it and she said yea but she just keep asking money to me that she need 17$ to ride and uber and I give her but then she say the post office are close for any reason and another day she asking again money to ride uber and pay for the post office fee. And still she don’t drop it she always have excuses she is a smart scammer. Please tell me how to report her. I have the evidence that she ask money and I have proof that of our conversation and I have copy of my shipping label.
Sorry this happened to you! It sounds like you should just block her and move on. Dont spend any money more money on her. I don't think Poshmark will be able to do anything because as you said, they don't offer protection on trades.
I just listed my first item and my first three buyers who approached me were scammers. The ones who want you to click on their link and send "more pics" to their email.

And these places that sell the clothing they receive free is not bad when they in turn sell at triple when they can sell for nickles?
That's wrong us resellers basically support thrift stores which are a non profit organizations that donate to the needy and help families, if anything we are helping them the more we buy....
Resellers are almost poor too, That is one of the reasons we make this blatant hassle for a living.
Also, when clothes don't sell they often get trashed. So any way you can rescue them from the landfill, do so.
Thank you, I'm brand new to selling ( have purchased many items) on PM and this is very helpful!
Really great advice! I've mostly have had the people trying to get me to message them off the platform. Fortunately, I haven't the others...yet.

What do you do when a buyer switches the item and claims you sent the wrong item? Ex: shoes ..
Report them and contact ebay to see what they can do.
How do i setup the unpaid ebay assistant?
Its changed a little bit but here's a link with info:

If you are trying to report a comment, at the end of their comment there should be a flag icon. You can report them that way.

Unfortunately it's very common for that to happen to new accounts.
