When it's other people, I usually think of podcasts as the new symptom of a midlife crisis, but with Zach (and somewhat Mike) it feels more "real" and I could honestly support a Zach and crew podcast.

To be honest that was most if not all of the content these two guys create anyway. They are playing games, yes, but I am watching it because of their weird commentary and comments on all of it and their seemles blending into their talks about their lifes.
So him and his GF tlaking on the backgorund of some game footage is par for the course for their channels, and I wouldn't mind at all if they made more of it.

Sweet Jesus.... this is the abridged version of how I met my wife without the distance and more drugs but I'm so happy for the both of you!
So, what I'm taking away from all this is that despite his hang-ups, self-esteem issues and general neuroses, Zach was so funny and so charming that he managed to wife someone who fell in love with him before she'd even seen his face. That may well be the funniest and most heartwarming thing I've heard all year. I wish all the very best for you both and I hope that your lives together are exceedingly long and happy ones.
This story really reminds me that I gotta ignore my doubts about my relationship with my partner in Australia(much the same, I fell in love knowing nothing but their voice, and we've been dating long distance for just over a year, finally gonna be seeing each other in person next year), everything's gonna work out just fine between us.

I met my wife in neopets. We were childhood friends, pretty much grew together and always talked about everything together. And yeah. I know how that feeling is, it is fucking amazing to be with the one you truly love.

It sometimes works out. I met my boyfriend on DA back in '11. I was getting into the MLP show and he was a semi well known pony artist.
We started talking and became friends and then many years later we began dating. We've been together for a few years now.
Fortunately he wasn't one of those really creepy bronys.
I've been dipping in and out of Mike's for years now, I'm pretty much only here for the campfire stories and the gun rants consistently, they're great. I'm really pleased that Zach's doing so well, his stories are just amazing, and Mrs Hazard just sounds like she's on the same wavelength. It's so wholesome to hear just how relaxed he is.
This made me tear up.
My wife and I met on June 9, but in 2009, and I married my best friend.
It's weird to think that so may things had to fall in place in a certain order just to even meet.
It is so nice to hear two other people come together in a similar way.
My wife and I did meet via TH-cam or even the internet, but two whole factories, in two states had to shutdown just to get her to me, over a five year period and 800 miles.
Life's weird that way.. You guys have a awsome life together and we wish you many many year together.
It is scary how many parallels in this story I’m hearing to my own current relationship. I just moved from California to Ohio to be with my girlfriend a little over two months ago. She came to visit me twice in Cali, then she flew out this last October, we packed my shit in my civic, and we drove five days back to Ohio. Sadly we didn’t really get to stop and see much because of how work scheduling panned out, but so far I’m happy to be here.

You know this speaks to a part of me very deeply. I live in California, and my boyfriend is from the Netherlands. We met online from DnD, and he came to visit for a week this past Summer. I greatly enjoy F:NV and he’s played it as well, so I took him to good springs and all over the place where I live. When you mentioned how sad yet happy you felt when you had to part ways after your first meeting. I felt that way too, and I missed him greatly, and he missed being here.
I don’t know where I’m going with this, I’m so happy for you both, and I genuinely hope you two live a wonderful happy life. You both seem to make one another happy, and I hope me and my boyfriend can find similar success

I don't even know how to start a comment. I've been a gun nerd for most of the time I know myself, but in country I live there isn't much content produced about firearms. It happens so that I was born in the Russia, the country where government is afraid of already dying and small firearms and hunters community (the gun owner rate here is like less than a percent). I've wondered so many times:"Why? Why haven't I looked at a piano or something else? Why my passion has to be a topic of political disagreements?" and I never found the answer. I basically learned English just to keep my only passion active. I learned it not through books and school but through TH-cam, it started with demoranch translates to forgotten weapons and at some time I stumbled upon Zach Gun Rants (thankfully video was seen by the algorithm, and he brought it to me). From that time I listened to all of the campfire stories and rants. I still have all of them downloaded on my phone so if I'm not in the zone of network I still can listen how you genuinely get excited about finding vss in fallout, or tell about heat shield on a shotgun. Your and Mike stories gave me a huge boost in knowledge both the language and firearms. I lived all of those time rewatching military and other stories or listening about bird feeders or your experiences with cars. Your type of thinking resonated with me, you were the first gun not expert, but enthusiast which I could relate to. Before youtube all people I know thought my interest was strange or even dangerous."oh you like guns, so you will probably join the army?" No. I loved only firearms, their aesthetics and mechanics, the engineering that was put through it, the story behind it and in front of it. From the time I started watching you guys I completed school, got b2 english and b1 German (which left me burned out completely, as I were in my last year of school and was going through the united state exams, the ones that uni or college looks on) and gone to university, but I still love to listen to you. And now I'm at a point in my life, where I lie at 2am smiling, right before my programming exam. I'm happy that Zach have found a person that fits him. Through the first 5 minutes I hear how fitting you two are for each other. Thank you for your time recording these vids, you helped me and will continue helping me through the difficulties of my life.
