I’ve been leaning this way for some time now. FSU is going to be paired with another school most likely. GT fits the B1G profile in every aspect and has had a historically good football program. Coupled in the #6 largest market in the country where droves of B1G fans live and the rich recruiting in Georgia, it makes total sense. Pointing to recent football struggles and resulting fan apathy from their tinkering with the option and then hiring arguably their worst coach in history has put them a bit behind but the new coach has turned their play around already.
When the next round of additions hit, GT will be one of them, likely some combination of FSU, Miami, GT, some unnamed 4th team.

I can see Clemson in the Big10 and maybe kinda-sorta Miami, but Florida State feels a lot more like an SEC school. At least traditionally/culturally.

@@ronelite582 Ijbol when I read that Los Angeles, Madison and Ann Arbor were red states politically. Those cities have voted 85 to 90 percent democrat blue since 2000. Pull up the demography map of those cities to see the blue and the red areas. LOL. No red in those cities whatsoever. Totally blue cities.

@@ssippilandelta4365 FSU and its immediate region has little to nothing culturally in common with the west coast/Midwestern contingent. They are more in line with Clemson, UVA, UGA, UNC, Auburn, VT, UF, Texas .. you know, southern contingency programs. Comparing their fit with Notre Dame in the SEC is purely asinine, and you should be embarrassed. 🤦‍♂️
