My name is Andrea and I am a lifestyle vlogger, but I occasionally do unboxing videos like this one. In this video I opened the Nespresso Vertuo Next espresso machine and go over pricing with the deal I got it for! I then made an iced oatmilk latte to taste test the coffee. There is also a side by side comparison of the Nespresso Vertuo Next with the Keurig Coffee Machine.

Was anyone else surprised by how loud the machine was? Lol makes good coffee but damn is it ever loud. I’m embarrassed to use it sometimes because I live in a duplex. My poor neighbours haha

Does the Nespresso coffee come out with milk? Does the Nespresso use the amount it needs automatically? Can you drink the coffee just like that or do you add sugar? I am asking all these questions because I want an espresso machine but don’t know which one to buy. Please help, thanks 😊
My Wife bought this and I hate it - I use to work at a coffee Co laboratory . Best coffee is french press , just buy bottled water and high quality coffee beans - Komodo Dragon Starbucks
That is the best investment you can do if you drink coffee. The quality is amazing and my fav are utopia and inizio.

I check my pod catcher and rinse it out after each use. For those who don't know, the container for used pods is 2 pieces. The upper piece catches the pods. The under piece behaves as a drip catcher for the used pods. I discard the pods into a separate bag, but still found liquid in the this area.

I only drink vegan iced coffees and vegan iced latte,s. I am vegan for 7 years now and i don,t think this machine od nesspresso is for me sinds i only drink iced coffees and iced latte,s. I,ll stay whitmy frence press,my african coffee beans and i wanna get an aeroccino 4 to froth my soy and coconut milk for vegan my iced coffees, my vegan iced latte,s and my vegan hot chocolate milks
The brewing process is different with a Keurig then with the Nespresso so obviously that's why
I’m on my 3rd machine and now it won’t work. Ugh I’m done with this version. Trying to find a better one.
Do you have to run a Hot water cycle before first use?? I know that is required with all Keurigs.

@@ifukon1std8 Still love it! I use it just about every morning to make my iced coffee. Haven't had any issues so far and I've been ordering the Nespresso capsules off of Amazon. It's easy to clean and I don't have any complaints about it, hope it stays that way...lol

Just came across your video! Have you had any issues with your machine? I just had to use my warranty after a month. It was leaking water everywhere. The customer service was great and they’re sending me a new one but i hope it doesn’t happen again. I love this machine. My coffees have been so sad lol.
I just popped in to ask the same thing! The reviews on the official Nespresso site have a lot of customers mentioning leaking :( !

@@elizabethhattu for sure call their customer service they will replace and even switch out for a different version. Just make sure they know which color and model you have because i had a whole situation with that lol.

Hey! How has the machine been since the review?
We bought our Verturo and Aeroccino frother 6 years ago. It's built like a tank. We clean it once a year and gets used DAILY. We lived in Europe for 12 years and traveled the world for 48 years with the USAF and we love a great coffee/espresso and all the various drinks it can make. It's simple, easy to use, makes fabulous coffee, and is repeatable drink after drink. The frother is magical, use skim milk and it will create a froth you can stand a spoon up in it. One of our better kitchen and lifestyle purchases in decades. It's a high-end experience in your kitchen without the snobbery.

Just bought this machine. While I will still keep my old 12 cup carafe maker the vertuo is for those one off moments.
Hands down the best coffee I have ever had from anywhere. I'm sorry I wait so long to get one, I've been thinking about it for years. Now I have the original and the Vertuo lol.
Do you have a review for the milk frother?
No! Ours didn’t even last a year. If you look into the vertuo next line there are so many people having issues with them. There’s nothing special about the coffee either. The old Nespresso machines that used pressure were far better with espresso quality, as well.

Avoid the Vertuo Machine like the plague! Worst machine ever!

Don’t buy this crab, we bought 3 and all 3 stopped working after a very short time. We had so much capsules left that we kept giving it another try for the same result

Just wanted to weigh in. I bought my Nespresso &frother on TSC a yr ago-Nov21. I’m just now having to clean it for the first time! That’s incredible! The coffee is awesome- as good as my daughters big espresso machine. I think that having to clean it once a year and the great taste is well with the price of the machine and pods. I won’t hesitate to buy another one !
But why does this specific have bad reviews?! I tempted to get one because of the price to have at the office.
You should of used glass to show the texture of the coffee from Keurig vs Nespresso... the Crema makes all the difference!!! 😎😎😎

I'm halfway through your video and I wanted to share my thoughts. I'm loving how straight to the point this video is, there is essentially no distracting background noise/music, very detailed in your explanation and slow speech so its nearly impossible to get lost in what you're saying. Thank you for this almost a year later!! I just gifted this machine to myself a couple of weeks ago and it's surely a Keurig/any other coffee shop replacement for me.

I too just bought this machine and I am now pretty excited to try the coffee! Do you have a favorite blend of coffee for this machine? Also, I purchased a cold brew unit and it is pretty awesome too!
The flow of coffee did not look that great, I have. Nespresso Vertuo Plus and the flow for an espresso seems a lot more consistent. Also, the lock and unlock seems annoying to me compared to the automatic opening and closing of the vertuoplus
So great you got it on sale! Do you think it worth it overall (pods, milk etc) than going to a coffee shop? Did you try the milk frother?
I bought a milk frother from Amazon, not the one from Nespresso. I do think it is worth it! The pods are more expensive than keurig but they taste better in my opinion and are still cheaper than going to a coffee shop with each pod averaging around $1 vs $3-5 in coffee shops. I hope this helps:)

The nespresso! It is definityely hotter :)
I have an older Keurig and it puts out 192°F coffee which I normally have to wait a few minutes to drink. Nespresso is a smoother coffee and the temperature isn't as hot. I definitely heat my milk/cream before adding to my coffee to avoid a cold cup.

It's still.holding up really well. As good as day one. I cleaned it one time since.
It's weird that the serial number sticker was not on the cup stand and the cellophane wasn't on the box of samples. I assume you opened the box ahead of time to check it before you vlogged. You did get a great deal. Cheapest I found was $125 on clearance.
Yes I did indeed open prior to recording as I was extremely excited about the purchase, but my boyfriend then suggested to record a video to demonstrate the product in case anyone was curious. I had not used it yet. I also opened it because I was afraid it was the wrong color! :)

BIG MISTAKE THROWING THE SERIAL NUMBER IN THE TRASH!
They give promotions when you purchase the machine somewhere else and it requires the Serial number.
For anyone who might have done the same, the serial product is embedded on the bottom of the machine. Most products do since customers tend to throw everything away.
1 thing that I noticed is the quality of the music you put at the end is pretty low, I would recommend to change it to a better quality one.
Curious if you thought about buying a regular espresso machine, like Breville, due to the high cost of pods? I feel like $11 for 10 pods is pretty pricey, when you can buy a whole bag of ground coffee for $7-$8. Trying to decide between nespresso and breville :)

Get a regular espresso maker. These things are junk. Mine broke after 8 months due to a very common failure so I brought back out my delonghi.
I just bought one and found these Little caps you can use on the capsules so that you can refill them yourself! They weren’t that much, so I hope they work! It definitely adds some affordability.

I’ve watched a few reviews where there were complaints about how loud the machine is. Did you find the Nespresso to be too loud?
I have one of these Next models and its not loud at all. For some technical reason, I guess, the sound reproduced by these TH-cam videos tend to be overamplified. I find its sound totally acceptable and low.
