A lot of people don't know that these big cats don't forget. If you would have treated her badly, you would be either laid to rest or missing limbs. You raised her with love and compassion, and she's returning the favor. Big cats don't forget.

The man saved the lioness when she was a cub, she recognise him as her friend & rescuer. 💜 This is truly a heartwarming story of a close bond between an animal & a human. 💜

Yes but it still doesn't make sense to interact regularly with a non-domesticated huge animal. One wrong move and you're dead.

@@narukami597 Of course there is a risk..there is risk in almost everything.Driving a car is a huge risk, flying in an airplane and so on.The fact is, this man knows that and feels safe enough to take the risk.Just because you choose to focus on the negative what if’s doesn’t mean that’s what will happen and he’s clearly willing to risk that possibility due to his love and loyalty for the animal.Seeing as how that makes no sense to you I suggest you keep your ass out of the wild and stay away from big scary kitty cats.Just because something doesn’t make sense to you doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense to others.My original comment/opinion is about the undeniable bond they both seem to share..So clearly I do understand what the comment section is for so you can take a stadium full of seats.
That's her primary caretaker, her "dad/mom". She associates him with love, kindness, food, comfort, companionship, scratching, tummy rubs, rough and tumbles. She knows his smell, what he looks like, his behavior when in her company, he is her family. She loves her human. She will never forget him. Her loyalty is sure, as long as she's well fed, taken care of and he maintains regular contact with her. Any other human should probably not attempt the same priveleged association with her.
I just love how she jumps into his arms when greeting him, like shes still a 20 kg cub.

I have watched a lot of videos about lions and this one ranks as probably the most privileged to me .
I can imagine that you "imprinted" on her as a cub, but being full grown she won't know her own strength. She could hurt you while expressing her love for you. It's still an honor to have such a relationship with that size of a cat! Thank you for being there for her.
I had the gentlest, loving, female cat. One day I was putting an object on a shelf and the whole thing collapsed making this huge noise as it broke to the floor. When my cat heard this, she quickly ran over and bit my leg.... really hard. She did that out of fear, but I remember thinking if she had been a lion my leg would have had a huge gash. (Or, it could have been my neck!)

“ domesticated “ animals that kept their wild nature , I have 3 at home , they are as wild as a lion , and even though we have a loving relationship, I always need to be cautious and careful around them , yeah , especially with sudden loud noises..

Of course she does know her strenght, all big animals do. Otherwise they would constantly kill their offspring (at least animals that raise their young) on accident. But human skin is very fragile in comparrisson to other animals of our size and lions have sharp claws, so scratches will happen.
You certainly have your hands full with 3 cats. Yes, you can see that "wild nature" in their eyes.
The incident that I wrote about where my cat bit my leg. Also reminded me of Siegfried and Roy where.... Roy was attacked by his tiger while doing their act. Some say that the tiger got frightened by a loud noise, (Perhaps from the audience) but they never did come to any conclusion. (If I'm incorrect...please let me know) @@ofrapeters3952

Wonderful video, so heart-warming. I commend you for your wisdom in preventing the lioness from getting too accustomed to human trappings. Humans have got to think more carefully about family planning and habitat-preservation---a balance must be found.

Kevin Richardson und Dean Schneider machen auch sowas ähnliches mit Löwen. Ich habe grundsätzlich nichts dagegen wenn jemand anderes mit einem großen Raubtier abhängt, wenn das Vertrauensverhältnis da ist und man weiß was man tut und der Respekt auch da ist. Alle drei Männer erfüllen genau das in meinen Augen. Der Valentin hat's gut gemacht mit Sirga.

I think Sirga sees him as her family. It doesn't even cross her mind at all that he could be prey. It's such a beautiful bond, I think in her mind, he's a lion that just looks different. I love love the connection. I love how God made everything especially animals and just deposited this level of love in them, I see that in my dogs as well, when a stranger is around he acts really violently like he can tear them apart, but then with me and the family, you can even put your hand in his mouth and no harm. It's so beautiful. Thank you for the sacrifice you made to ensure she gets a good life💕

I could talk about mt lions all day. I carry bear spray and depend on dogs, birds and mowing to be safe. I have lived 35 years, sharing a biodiverse hollow with one particular family. I have learned so much about them, and I respect and admire and like them. People don't believe it, but there's many around.

When you get a little hurt, it is like with some of our big dogs with a lot of energy. They don't know their own strength and just want to exuberantly play or cuddle or sometimes want to vigorously want to guard us and in all there excitement to rush to the door and bark, they may accidentally harm us. Such a sweet relationship she has with you. You are definitely her Mr. MOM.
Knowing it's possible to have the trust of lion toward a non-abusive human-being (vital key element in developing trust) is powerfully heart warming.
