This thing is a KILLER! Great find Mike! This app is the PERFECT tool to quickly prepare a polished sounding recording. I use it in the studio to make daily rough mixes for the musicians to take home at the end of sessions. Because it is actually using the real mastering tools that evolved over many decades it can produce genuinely proper sounding recordings. But the simplified layout allows non-experts to get really good results really quickly. This is a real small-company winner. I feel like I’m using it almost every day. I highly recommend it. 😎👍👍

Thanks for this video. I think this is a great plug-in for the beginner or as you say for that quick master. I myself have been recording mixing and mastering for over twenty five years but I wish I had something like this when I was starting out.
Looks good. I finally got myself Ozone (along with Neutron for mixing). They've made a huge difference to my output. But it would be interesting to try Master Plan out.
Ozone on the master and Nectar on vox bus sure seems to do a nice job for my simple mixes with just me an my acoustic. Love the width control on this plugin and will def be checking it out.
The difference was very noticeable..surprisingly so. All the low dynamic stuff in the drums and guitar finger noises came way up and the vox we're much more clearly defined, present and breathy. Nice! I wonder if this is better than Ozone? My band spent months and months on just comparing studio masters for our album.
Hi Mike! I got Master Plan a few weeks ago and I love it. I prefer it over Ozone Elements, as you mentioned I prefer to have the control. I really find calm helpful as my mixes have been a bit harsh as my ears age. Thanks for the review!
I usually split my masters between two limiters. Would you use this limiter as a last plugin in a mastering chain? Or maybe follow this up with a Fabfilter L2?
Seems in the same ballpark of the brainworx masterdesk, which I love. I believe you showed me that one too Mike. This one looks like it's worth a look as well. Thanks for your content Mike.🤘
I use a range of mostly separate tools that end in Waves L2 Maximizer. I do have the Waves Infected Mushroom plugin, but it does seem to be more EDM tailored. I think a plugin like this would be pretty useful and save on system resources.
Hey Mike my question is if Cakewalk is pulling thier free setup can I still use the daw as it is loaded to my system without the support?. Really dissapointed to hear the news because its a great Daw but would like to still use it for my mastering. Your thoughts or anyone else on here.
Mike, I've got Studio One 6...do you insert it in the project page in the Loudness section where I normally put my mastering chain, or in do insert it in the Master section?

I clip on my main out even though I have the short term LUFs at -10 and the output at -1 Is this normal for limiters. I treid the same even with Pro L2 and stil clipping happend on my main out.
I don't know, I've seen situations where they would hire an engineer and were not happy with the results, so they did it themselves and were very happy with the results

Initial Audio has a plug in that's called Master Suite

do you know if master plan has a auto bass filter on the wide option?

Really need a midrange controller! The sound with this plugin is not expressive. And the ability to crossfade zones between Low/Mid/High frequencies.
