    Fantastic tutorial Mike.
I was wondering though, do all this things you teach also aply to Studio One Artist version, or is it only accessable on the professional version.
I dont know which one to purchase yet, since i am a 'home studio' producer at the moment.

HI Mike. At the end of your How to Use a the Gate tutorial, you talk about triggering a kick drum from a real kick. It it possible to do this on kick, snare, hi hat, toms etc using gates on each one of their tracks? Also, your using note trigger C 1 to get the kick. Is there a guide to show which notes are used for snare, hi hat, toms etc? I enjoy your tutorials. Rick

Thanks for the tip! The challenge I have with my recordings is that other places in the same track will have a negative impact by having set the threshold too high previously. In other words, what cleaned one section actually removed subtleties in softer section of the track later on. Is there a way to better manage this conflict when it occurs during the same track? Cheers!

    Mike,
Can I ask you some questions about some ProTools files being opened in S1

    Hello Mike
    Hope you’re well!
Just a quick question. I have Studio One 6 pro What do you recommend (PC) for a cpu as far as the processor size and if it needs to be cooled. I have just a small home studio. It’s for our family Gospel group only. I need it to work proficiently but I don’t need to buy something I’m not going to use. Just your thoughts .
    Thanks
    Davis

why can't we just cut off ? instead of using gate, from what I see cutting that noisey part is very much possible and easy
