This sounds like something that would play in some kind of bizarre circus.
I LOVE IT!
I AGREE! Or better, this song could be used in a trailer that surrounds a circus that turns unlucky visitors into bizarre attractions or puppets that can only move if the mastermind controls them!
That, actually describes the scene it played in quite well.
This version sounds like what if Mussorgsky were the composer.
@@ninarances9074 Woah, this reminds me of a story called "Republic Circus" where it talked about a rich man and his daughter and how the man was the owner if a circus where they would kidnap children, then train them or experiment on them to make them into the circus entertainment.
@@maraj117 that sounds interesting. Where did you read the story? I can't find it on Google.

Honestly I've never seen Anastasia before. But, Once Upon a December you did a few months ago is definitely on my favorite l"'orchestra cinematique" songs. After listening to this one too, I may have to check out the movie.
It's gone relatively underappreciated. I first found out about it after watching this scene in the movie on TH-cam then I checked it out.
The movie is often overlooked because it's not a Disney movie (even though it looks like one and has basically the same formula of a Disney film).
It’s such a good movie. It’s not Disney but it has the feel of it. It’s one of my favorite animated movies. It’s also a stage musical if you’re into that
Anastasia is such an underrated movie. Its one of my favorites 💜
AJTx You might like it. It’s a good movie. There’s a great casting and the music is great. No, it’s not Disney; it’s a Don Bluth movie. I used to watch it when I was a kid and not only would kids like it but adults would to.
I have never clicked a notification so fast. This is a BOP.
same!
0:41 YES IT JUST GOT WAY MORE AWESOME
This song's gonna be stuck in my head now and I am not mad about it
Sounds like something Danny elfman would compose
Like how it's actually got sort of a russian feel to it, very appropriate and well done
As someone who’s part Russian, I approve~
Please do "Zero to Hero" or "I won't say I'm in love"!
AHHH YESS!
omg yes
YOU DID IT. YOU MADPEOPLE. YESSSS
I need to say this...
PERFECT
Here are the lyrics
In the dark of the night I was tossing and turning
And the nightmare I had was as bad as can be
It scared me out of my wits
A corpse falling to bits!
Then I opened my eyes
And the nightmare was, me
I was once the most mystical man in all Russia
When the royals betrayed me they mad a mistake
My curse made each of them pay
But one little girl got away
Little Anya, beware
Rasputin's awake
In the dark of the night evil will find her
In the dark of the night just before dawn!
Revenge will be sweet
When the curse is complete
In the dark of the night
She'll be gone
I can feel that my powers are slowly returning
Tie my sash and a dash of cologne for that smell
As the Pieces fall into place
I'll see her crawl into place
Do Svidaniya, Anya, Your Grace
Farewell
In the dark of the night terror will strike her!
Terror's the least I can do!
In the dark of the night evil will brew.
Soon she will feel that her nightmares are real.
In the dark of the night
She'll be through!
In the dark of the night
Evil will find her
Find her!
Ooh!
In the dark of the night terror comes true.
Doom her!
My dear, here's a sign
It's the end of the line
In the dark of the night
In the dark of the night
In the dark of the night
Come my minions
Rise for your master
Let your evil shine
Find her now
Yes, fly ever faster
In the dark of the night
In the dark of the night
In the dark of the night
She'll be mine!
Браво,я рада что это слышала.❤😂🎉😅😊
Such a shame this EPIC song wasn't included in the Broadway play.
Rasputin's song in a musical where Rasputin's doesn't appear... it would have been hard. :(
They used the melody in "Stay, I Pray you" and the results is amazing
Yes, the melody is in "Stay I pray You" and it's such a gorgeous song
@@Titanicophile I mean they could have reworked the lyrics, the melody sounds at the beginning when the revolution starts it could have been sung by a chorus as the revolutionarys
"Stay, I Pray You" will NEVER compare to "In The Dark Of The Night" 🖤💚
this sounds like a much more less sinister than the actual one but the ending gave a moment of the real evil vibe so maybe this could be a part of a reprise? it leaves us in awe, nonetheless. maybe an untamed epic version? wu ji? please? the story itself and soundtrack is heartfelt, i would like to cry out all the tears left in me. i trust you’d be able to so that.
This feels like an endless ballet... of course when you break the loop button :)
This is one of the best villian songs of all times and this version is just WOW
This has gotta be 1 of the most darkest villain songs I've ever heard.
This almost sounds triumphant. Like the heroes going to battle in a grand display against the bad guy instead of just being the villain song.
To me it sounds more like an orchestra playing at a grand ball.
Had a mini heart attack when I saw this notification pop up, I already know this is gonna be INCREDIBLE🖤
An alternative title: "What would've happened if Danny Elfman wrote music for Anastasia"
Awesomeee 💙
this is the sort of epic instrumental of the song they’d use in a trailer for a live action anastasia for sure
Whenever Disney remakes Anastasia now that they have the rights, they should use this version.
Or Johnathan Young since that man really knows how to make a cover
@@BigBangAttack-mt6pz I liked his covers. He has some great covers. I just prefer this one if we're comparing the two, which I don't think is fair given they create under two very different genres. But, to each their own.
@@alygurl1635 Oh no I'm not saying one is better than the other I'm just saying if they made a live action -cashgrab- remake that it would be cool to use
@@BigBangAttack-mt6pz Oh! 🤦♀️ Lol. It would be amazing if the music came from indie musicians.
@@BigBangAttack-mt6pz If they do, I wonder if they could get the chance to actually film in Russia and at the grand palace? 🤔 The scene with the paintings is just so hauntingly beautiful, I would hate to see it being spoiled if it wasn't done well.
OMG YES I LOVE ANASTASIA
Can you do something from TF2 as a tribute to Rick May (the voice actor of Soldier) who passed away yesterday due to COVID-19?
"TF2 Intruder Alert - Epic Version" would be pretty cool.

I have seen Anastasia once as a little girl, but I don't remember it. All I know is that I absolutely love this song. This remake is absolutely amazing! In fact all your videos are very well done! You take songs that seem like they can't get any better, and turn them into remakes that can't be beat! I look forward to every song you post. Keep up the good work!

If In the Dark of the Night was featured in the Anastasia musical, this would work great for the instrumental.
Se imaginan un live-action bien hecho de Anastasia?, uff, seria genial
In the Dark of the Night, this music will find you
After first hearing this track all the way through a while back, it's helped inspire me to truly put my all into the main antagonist of my novel series. He's been inspired by a great many different villains in film, television, and literature, including The Joker, Davy Jones, Voldemort, and Ramsay Snow, among others. This song, both the original and now this version, have and will help me to continue my work on him. Great job on yet another Epic Version! If I had to suggest something, I would suggest the main theme from The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning, or This Broken Soul or Guide You Home (I Would Die for You) from its sequels The Eternal Night and Dawn of the Dragon, respectively.
:o Would you be willing to elaborate on your antagonist? Or will it stay a secret?
@@TrueLadyEvilChan I don't want to reveal too much, as the books still aren't published (been trying, but this virus hasn't helped anything), but let's just say he isn't human and is 6'6 (for reference, my main protagonist is about 6'0). He also has red eyes and an obsession with Hell and can speak fluent Latin (though I imagine him speaking with an accent similar to Kit Harrington's or, especially, Iwan Rheon's, hence one of the inspirations being Ramsay Snow, whom Rheon portrayed in Game of Thrones).
@@cookscreativecorner Sam Cook Sam Cook Thank you for sharing! I feel bad whenever I'm asking for an author to reveal something but it's because I'm always interested in what kind of characters they're working on. Your antagonist sounds right up my alley.
I may as well spill the beans myself a little. I'm not writing a whole series (in the same universe maybe, but I've not any direct sequels planned), and I've not published anything, so it's draft work.
On more than one occasion, I've used this exact song (amongst others, mostly tracks from video games though) while writing scenes for one of my own characters. I wouldn't necessarily say she's an antagonist, just one of the Point of View characters. She meets one Point of View character during the events of the story, and has a decent amount of history with another POV character. She has plans to change the world for "the greater" and would prefer to have people submit to her ideals than to leave them behind--or have something worse happen to them. She takes loyalty and trust very seriously; and is pretty short for her age.
So while this song may not wholly represent her as she is now, I listened to it when I initially had been planning her out, so I've begun to associate her with the song regardless, as silly and clingy as that may be. Though she's not as much of a straight villain as I intended anymore, I just can't help but associate her with the song, if that makes sense.
Hoping to see your work published one day, friend! Stay safe!

This makes me think of ballet, figure skating, circus performing, and aerial silk dancing. I wanna ride an elephant, spin on an aerial hoop, and leap like a ballerina right now 😂 This actually sounds like a movie. The drums and strings at 1:03-1:10 (A, G, F#) sound amazing, as well as 1:54.

Best villian song of all time!
They should make a live action version of it. Keep all the magic etc... this could be used for the trailer 🖤
That's it, we need a live action Anastasia
I couldn't agree more with you if they made live-action versions of The Lion King and Aladdin then we deserve a live-action version of this one too
Not to mention Anastasia is very realistic, not much of the magic is actually happening. So not much of CGI is needed, and thus is a perfect pick for a live-action 👍
I'm in love with your name and your picture!!
Whoever made this, you are a genius and I support you with whole my heart.
I LOVE this movie so much! I watch all the time! And the soundtrack is so powerful, this give me chills everytime!!!

Listening to this is tempting me to wish for a live-action remake of Anastasia (1997) as long as they retain the musical numbers.
I loooooooove this channel the songs get 10x better each time❤❤
What the heck. This is really good.
That just gave me some Kingdom Hearts vibe. If this was a Disney movie, this would be the main boss song!

Anastasia is pretty Burton-esque when you think about it. After all, Don Bluth and Tim Burton used to work together in the 80's.

4. "I See the Light" from Tangled
5. Love theme for Rey and Ben Solo from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
6. "God Help the Outcasts" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Might already be plans for the track at the top of your list ;)
