Congrats bro, just got one myself, it’s a 97 2 door 2wd , I’m workin n a 6.2L LS3 with dual prochargers feeding the edelbrock’s twin TB with an X pipe to balance intake. I love it too. Hopefully I would love to have the 3 2-door full size suv, next one would be a 95 Ford U100 Bronco and lastly a 97 Dodge Ram Charger Limited. I’ll try to get some vids. Enjoy it bro.

If you flip that little flap on the console all the forward it serves as a clipboard/writing service. It should have a little tab to hold a piece of paper onto it. I swapped my console out with a metal locking one but that wireless charger idea is genius. Makes me think of putting the oem one back in
Yeah that's about as far as I'll modify it to keep it original. But that "writing service" idea is useless, we ain't in the 90s anymore 😂

@Y legal racing, that truck is dope! I just bought one from a friend of mine for $2,500. It’s a 99 Tahoe Sport 4x4 sport, navy blue with black on the bottom, tailgate rear door. It is flawless inside and out. My friend bought it for his dad’s birthday brand new and he always kept in the garage. Talking about hidden compartments, open your tailgate and unscrew the panel! That’s where the magic is. I’m going to replace the carpet, get the seats custom embroidered with the diamond pattern red stitching, red seat belts, will be painting it white pearl (same white as my Ferrari). It will be my son’s truck for high school even though he is 11 at the moment. I’m also going to drop a 4.8 ls fully built, cam, heads, and a 2nd gen whipple.

I have a 95 Yukon 2 door lifted with 35's and love the truck. I bought a 94 Chevy pick up new in 94 it is the same truck but with the older interior. The light on the cord reel has a magnet on it and will go all the way back to the rear wheels so you can change a tire at night on the side of the road.

That CD rack in the front of the console lifts right out and has space under it too.

But now its time!!! Its not the dope ass 2 door but the 4 door tohoe. but bro I agree with you I don't know what it is but now that I'm actually going to get the truck I am super juiced. I have a 96' 2doorhoe my self with the barn door and 4x4 on 33" toyo mt wrapped on ltz wheels. Love my truck and always catch myself adding to it. Also you are right about
all that airspace I'm running a Boston acoustics amp and the infamous spg-555 13" Boston sub and it bangs for days. Also you can swap out that toolbox under the hood for a second battery tray that was optional in other models.

I have a 99 two-door 4 x 4 Tahoe just got it and it’s bad ass has a 6 inch suspension lift with a 3 inch body lift with 36s all the way around and it only has 133,000 miles paid six grand

FYI the reason your battery dies is probably because your dome light is on. The door panel pushes that pin down but it won't push down if the door panel ain't on. Had the problemo

Theres another "hidden" space under the console. Flip open the door at the nose of the console and remove the black media tray (cup holder in some models). You will have pass through access under the entire console.

My Yukon would go dead over night and how I fixed it I found out there was a door lock remote control module hidden over driver side dash up beside the steering column hidden behind a plate and ever seen i unplugged it never had a problem again

They are rare for sure. They stopped making them somewhere in 99
1999 was the last year of the 2 door Tahoe.
Till 1994 they were Blazer's then 95 till 99 Tahoe. 2wd are rare.

These run forever bro. Not a lot to it. Once you give it a good run through she'll be mint. Newer trucks are cool dont get me wrong but this will never leave you on the side of the road. No parts shortages, programming, diagnosis gremlins or complicated wiring. After my trans swap the 2 door has been my daily for over a year and she's mint.
@@YLegalRacing Thanks man I appreciate the advice. They want 11k for it. It's bone stock original paint. I can put the mods on it to make it mine. I don't wanna waste 20k on somethin newer that won't last or I need a specialist to fix lol. It look like I won't lose too much towing capacity either from my 08 Xl denali that is fallin apart. My denali is throwin codes evap, stabilitrak, oil pressure etc too much for me. I just love the size of the truck. But 2 door trucks are special to me. A coupe truck! They aren't really on the road much
