I love the way that turned out. You know saying the 911 is reliable jinxed it right? I love how the family was involved...& CRUSHING IT!! & about the shop; I'll keep watching, shop or no shop, take your time, don't rush for the BUILT OFFICIAL community.
this video makes me appreciate my 99' tahoe 10x more. im the 3rd owner and the truck was garage kept all its life. it's in great condition. thank you for the upload! the transformation is amazing.
that crack that happened is very common, its a weak stress point, i bought a dash with a small crack in the same spot, JB weld is holding up a year later
13:51 ain’t an old mans opinion, I agree and I’m 18, putting in new carpet and some nice classic buckets in my v8 mgb )that u inspired me to do) is probably one of the best things I’ve done to the car, makes such a difference. A motivation booster for such a big project 😂
Well done on getting it looking so good. I was really surprised to see a lot of parts outside door handle steering wheel dash cluster etc to be the same as the ones on the South African Isuzu pick up "bakkie"
I just built an OBS suburban for a daily/overland rig. They are great and I built the whole rig for under 5k. Lucked into a 99 z71 conversion with a blown motor I was able to just tow off for someone. If you are going to be doing these dashes I highly recommend a Hot stapler to repair those cracks
Hey bro you can find that little black latch for your center console in the junk yard then you'll have your truck all put together like a ROCK 🪨 good stuff man I love The OBS trucks like yours !
"Get Flat" Good motto for your channel. Your cars get low and wide! Impossible to do after Thanksgiving dinner, I'm...not flat...at all. I check this channel every single day for uploads lol Happy Thanksgiving!
I have a 96 2door emerald green tahoe that is my baby LS swapped with a big cam, lowered and 07 yukon seats. I love these trucks I'd have 10 If I could

My 97 dash has 0 cracks, good video hope I never have to do this
For the dash crack repair it helps to also drill the end point of the crack, prevent it from cracking further
i just got a 1996 tahoe with 62k mileage for just under $2000 here in the Philippines. Great truck
Same here 1700 for my 1995.
I’ve been wanting one of these.. my brother had 3-4 throughout the years in minnnnnt shape.. hard to find that do t need a lot of work

Caleb, your wife is absolutely jacked. Thats mom strength in action haha
The Tahoe came out great! And very much looking forward to seeing the 911 receive the same treatment!
You have restored an extremely rare Tahoe to almost factory condition. He is gorgeous and worth a ton. Nice work sir!

Hey Kaleb! Nice work, bro!!
Sadly those problems happen with older vehicles in general, not just 90s
I’m so glad I found your video. I’m doing the same thing to my 99 2 door tahoe 5.7L v8.

Get some Cunningham machine door bushings and pins.
Bad pins and bushings cause the doors to sag and cause the handles to break
Nice. Looking forward for the 911 interior fixing! =)
You need to pickup a hot staple gun. Its the strongest fix for plastic repair and you can pick them up cheap!
You did this car respect with this video
I have a 96 2door emerald green tahoe that is my baby LS swapped with a big cam, lowered and 07 yukon seats. I love these trucks I'd have 10 If I could
I have two 2 Doors, love the video, but did I miss where you linked the video showing the dash removal you mentioned?
Bro, every time I tune in you have a new kid 😂. She's adorable
Good job man you have a different dash as mine
That spot with trucks popping out of park is scary lol
I think, youre fixing the real Crumple Zone. I have Chevy Blazer 2005 Asian Market, have the same trouble : Crumple Dashboard 😅😅😅
How much was the dash?
Where did you find a wire harness?
Hi. where is the video for taking off the dash ?
I took a dash out of a 95 big bronco and after the 10,000 bolt, it came out lol
If you still have that dash cover ill buy it off you please?
Fiberglass the back side of those cracks.
I had swap my old harness to new dash
MG build....
