I love when you say “it doesn’t look like an earring yet, I know I know don’t be inpatient”. this shows exactly what it’s all about. You just gotta have patience for jewelry making.

I've not made earrings yet but I did make a couple of stretch bracelets which I was proud of. First time ever making jewelry, at age 68! lol

I made a pair of earrings for my housemate to celebrate their 1 month sober, and I mostly improvised and worked things out on my own. The earrings are fine, but I am excited to make better ones for my housemate's later sobriety milestones.

Did you make the ring you are wearing in this video? If so do you have a video showing how you made it?

Glad you liked it! I don't have plans to teach this one in the immediate future because it requires a saw and torch, but we'll try to work it in! Thanks so much for watching!

I like flat teardrop stones and round ones. Mostly Agates. Can't find the round ones anywhere. I try to stay away from plastic.

This is a great, helpful, go-to video! tysm!! I know I've seen one with "wire-wrapping loops". I'm specifically looking for the "bird's nest" or "messy wrap" closure. I've looked on my own for hours to no avail! Could someone point the way with a link, PLEASE! ;-) I'm pretty confident it was Susan Thomas. I'd appreciate it so much. TY.

Susan,Love your videos ! You explain everything clearly and concisely! Your camera person needs some work ! Unfortunately there are times you're explaining a technique and showing what it looks like and your camera person should be getting close up so we can see if you watch this video you'll see you cant wven tell what kind of earring wire you used and it's really FRUSTRATING when this happens and unfortunately it happens enough that I decided to let you know hoping that you can fix this issue as I really like your channel just want to see everything so I can make some of the things that you make on your TH-cam channel. Thank you and I hope that you are not offended by this post its not you its whose ever filming your videos honey !

It's a great tutorial, but the head pin was the same color as your surface that you were working on and very hard to see. It also would help if the camera could get closer to your project. Thanks
