Just found your channel, so you have another follower. I love your shirt as I also love scotch. Great little snowmen, so guess what, when I go down to the blokes shed this morning I will go through all my offcuts and make some. Cheers Ian - New Zealand.
They’re lovely! Thank you for a great video. I see you used a black pen to draw the eyes and buttons - ones I’ve used have all “bled” in to the wood. What make is your pen please? Thankyou.

The bodies were made with 8/4 maple (about 1.75" square) and the hats were stacks of three pieces of 4/4 walnut, so they ended up about 2.25" tall. Final dimensions of each snowman were about 3.5 inches tall altogether (2.25 body and 1.25 hat)
It's an acrylic paint marker. I belive it's Aroic(?) brand. Got a box of them off Amazon for art, but they work great for certain things in woodworking, too.
They turned out lovely!
I'm looking forward to getting my first lathe. These look beginner friendly.
I do wood crafts for shows myself but man those are not crafts those are art...awsome vid.
They're pretty fun little guys to make. Thanks for watching.

Thanks very much!
They are adorable 😍
Thanks! Gotta make some more this year!
You do quality work, sir❤
Thank you so much 😀
I would be interested in knowing how the market went. Great work as usual!
Thanks! Market went well. Probably my second or third best ever in terms of sales.

Don't use ink pens. Use acrylic marker pens. there are lots of brands. I like Ziegler, but I think that one was an Aroic.
@@WoodenThingsAndStuff thank you.
Well done. I make bottlestoppers, so thanks for that suggestion. What do they sell for? I'm terrible at pricing things.
I sell my snowman bottlestoppers for about $30 each and they sell at a rate where I can keep up through Nov/Dec.
Another great little video. Your crafts for market are brilliant!
Thanks, Dave!
I just subscribed to your channel. Also watched your gnome video. Will be looking forward to other videos. Jim's wood shop.😁.

They are beautiful. Do you make the wire bits too?
No, those are store bought
So cute! How did I miss this one! What is the pen you used to make the eyes and belly dots?
It was an acrylic paint marker. Lots of art supply companies make them.
well done, mary christmas
Thanks! You too!
Way cool 💨
HI Mike,
Those came out great. Do you remember what size the blocks were?
Thanks again for another great video.

Thanks, Larry. I'm trying!
Great video
Thanks man!
Those were so cute. Very creative. My kind of Christmas video. For your hair, ah don't worry about it. As long as people find you handy you're good.
Haha. Thanks!
What is that pen that you are using - it seems to leave a nice ink/paint blob for the "coal" and signature

What ever happened to a corn Cob pipe and button nose and 2 eyes made out of coal?
It went bumpitty bump bump, bumpitty bump bump over the hills of snow.
