The real amazement of this game was those live events. They were like mini playable movies. Happening in realtime for everybody. Where nobody knew what was going to happen.

It's sad that all I hear about this game is hate. I feel like every time something is super popular with kids/teens, people hate it. And I think it's unfair, 'cause Fortnite looks like a fun game and it has a cool story!

@@LegoCat88 i doubt it. Remember how useful Last Reality is in terms of storytelling. You can just make whatever you want and slap LR on it just because that's their whole modus operanti. And I'm pretty sure Charlie Wen knows it.
there were a lot of finer details that weren't covered in this. for example, when the cube queen attacked the island, there was a whole last stand at the beginning of the live event with the blue cube. in addition, so many characters that didn't really input much in the grand scale. I would definitely watch videos dedicated to different chapters and seasons for a more detailed story. note that the scene of the zero point fleeing from the mothership wasn't included and between the oathbound and jungle stuff, a future cyberpunk reality came and there was a whole gang war involving a bunch of characters not mentioned in this video.
You should watch all the Live Events next, they're really fun.
Excellent reaction, bro! I love the Fortnite lore and how Donald Mustard and Epic managed to tell a story so great and even tied with other brands like DC and Marvel (which are both canon at the same time and have had comicbook crossovers with Fortnite) and I strongly recommend the 3h video, it's very great and talks even more about the collabs' relation with the story, more comics information, etc

after the time machine was placed on the rocket, the event that happened with the visitor happened again but this time instead of going to chapter 2, we went to the omniverse and it turns out there's a lego reality, a rocket league reality called rocket racing, and a music reality called fortnite festival where you can play real life songs kinda like guitar hero, and of course chapter 5. in chapter 5, a group called the society kidnapped peely. jones and a girl named hope are part of a group called the underground. they go and defeat all the members of the society which are oscar a tiger, nisha a fencer who owns a farm, montague a guy who's very rich, is presumed to be the society's leader, and he has a lot of diamonds, peter griffin lol, and valeria which is hope's sister. they each carry something called a medallion which is a very powerful relic that gives them powers and they are greek mythology related. turns out that valeria escaped before hope and jones could find her and it was revealed that she wanted to find and open pandora's box so that the society could use that power which would have helped them take over the chapter 5 island. but by doing that, a big hand holding a big chest covered in chains emerged from the ground and us the loopers had to break the chains which then caused lots of souls from the underworld to be freed after the box opened. and then suddenly greek gods like zeus, hades, ares, and cerberus came to the island and the society retreated and left the island. and just like real greek mythology, zeus the god of thunder and lightning is mad at mortals and wants to eliminate them while hades the ruler of the underworld is actually a good guy. zeus's daughter aphrodite is currently going on to recruit other gods like medusa, artemis, hades himself, possibly cerberus, and poseidon to help protect mortals against zeus's anger. there are also some other relics found that could be teasing the return of geno and stellan
