Start it off as something simple, “you’re the only one who can actually get my coffee perfect!” but Jameson treats the rest of the Bugle like garbage, but genuinely likes Peter. Sees a lot of himself in this young man, and more than anything, sees Peter as “honest”. It makes for a great twist that the guy he hates most and the only employee he actually likes are one in the same. …also, I thought it would be cool if the Bugle bullpen had a young teenage intern artist named Miles on staff, but that’s neither here nor there…
That's one thing I really love about their relationship in some media; Jameson's fatherly affection towards Peter. Also, if Jameson finds out Peter is Spider-Man his first reaction should be like, "are you telling me that I've been paying top dollar for glorified selfies this whole time?"

I LOVE the pathway for a darker spider-man, it would really make Tom Holland stand on his own in my eyes if he goes through something created BY himself and something he has to solve by himself. And I love the twist of that solution being the wrong one. But personally, to make that scene hit harder I would've made the symbiote removal intentionally difficult, bait the audience into thinking that, yes, he is absolved of all responsibility, and then WHAM, that anger was always just who he was, and facing that head on in the next movie would be glorious. I love this video! Can't wait for part 3
I never liked that idea. It makes the black suit completely obscene in this movie. Might as well not even had it, and just made a film about Peter dealing with his anxiety and anger. I would have made the decision of Peter breaking Gargan's Jaw in two ways: 1.) Remove the Flash scene, have Peter fall down the slippery slope (without the symbiote influencing him, i.e. his own decision), and then when he does the deed, he will realize that although the suit was influencing him through some of his violent actions. He was still to blame for the damage done, ending it with Peter removing the Black Suit, not as the OBJECTIVE solution to all his problems, but removing the obvious variable that is making things worse and then begin to work on himself since he would acknowledge he is still to blame. 2.) The same would happen as it happened in the script, but instead of Peter proceeding with impaling Gargan, he would stop himself at the last minute and realize that it wasn't the suit that was controlling him, gaslighting him, or committing crimes for him. It was *him* this whole time, and then through random villian shenanigans or cliches, Gargan ends up killing or impaling himself just to remove that huge lose end for Peter and the film. I would have chosen both of those since they feel more in line with what Peter would do, or how the symbiote should function (Not something to remove him of accountability, but as a cautionary tale for Peter, coming in his life either randomly or at a low point and showing him what could happen if he doesn't keep his dark impulses in check, it opens the door to Peter's dark impulses rather then creating them or controlling Peter, hence making him absolved of all his failings). But hey, that's just my opinion.

gotta love that black suit twist man. I’ve always found peter getting away waaaay too easily with the black suit, even in celebrated takes on that arc, such as the recent “spider’s shadow” series. Having that final reveal is such a neat way to subvert our expectation and strengthen the theme of responsibility. speaking of neat storytelling, the idea of the sequel involving daredevil and kingpin is absolutely amazing. I can’t help but think that this could be what the mcu end up doing as it feels like the perfect culmination of what they’ve been setting up. great video as always and i cant wait for the next prewrite!
This is so random, but pls read this fan fiction call the mask of responsibility. It’s basically a writers own interpretation of Spider-Man in its own universe, that has unique-ish twists but feels familiar to comics. But your comment reminded me of their excellent arc with black cat and Peter and the symbiote, which touches upon what you’re doing. It’s such a genuinely mature and intimate story. Like I skip all the action scenes just to read more about the relationship conversations and drama. It’s so fucking good and it pains me that nobody knows about it
Personally I think that Venom should be the main villain of the third movie in the trilogy. I think the biggest mistake possible for the Symbiote story would be to do it all in one movie and not have be unfolding through the whole trilogy. I like the Tom Hardy movies but I really want to see classic Venom with the spider and everything fighting Spider-Man. And only having a third act with Venom isn’t enough
You have honestly outdone yourself. Having a superhero blockbuster that really explores that lack of a safety net once you become an adult and enter the real world is a harsh but important point in life that I don't think gets highlighted enough in films that the whole family would see, I know I sure as heck wish there was something out there like that when I turned 18. It's such a mature but genius angle for a Spider-Man film that I'm going to be mad if its not present in the next trilogy. As for the goofy comic stuff though, honestly I'd love a rework of Ultimate Jameson's backstory for the MCU, with his son's death and the lack of closure he received with that and the lack of care the world has for his son compared to Spider-Man, and the subsequent growth he has from that is an angle I love. Sure Jameson in the Ultimate comics didn't like vigilantes or superheroes much in general, but they could alter that to where Mysterio dying and showing his face made him more trustworthy and honest in Jameson's eyes initially. Also given the likelihood of the black suit being a presence in the fourth film (and hopefully across the next trilogy) I hope they really pull from the 80's comics and bring in Hobgoblin. That'd be an opportunity to introduce a new villain whilst simultaneously serving as a spiritual reminder of Peter's past trauma caused by the Green Goblin, which would work really well with the black suit present similar to Sandman reminding Peter of his Uncle's death in Spider-Man 3. However it would be less personal, maybe to the point where Hobgoblin is perplexed as to why Spider-Man seems to automatically hate him so much. Hobgoblin is initially just doing his own crimes, no personal vendettas against anyone Peter knows he's simply using tech that he stole for his own benefit, but once Spider-Man gets involved not just by interfering with his plans but maybe even going to extremes like threatening his life or maybe toying with him, it pushes Hobgoblin into greater villainy and with that Spider-Man would've basically turned a lower-level supervillain into one of his enemies. Similar to Shocker in the Ultimate comics who Spider-Man pushed to extremes, although Hobgoblin wouldn't be treated as a joke at any point unlike Shocker. It would be a good way of illustrating that idea of trauma not just going away and the dangers of reliving it, with Peter maybe fighting the Hobgoblin at the end in a similar way to how you presented the Scorpion fight, it could even be explained that whilst some things like the glider or pumpkin bombs were recovered from the Statue of Liberty the Hobgoblin's lack of a serum means when Peter gets into a physical fight with him he's expecting him to take it like Norman did, only for him to be far weaker. The Hobgoblin above all else is sane but still a criminal mastermind which they should carry over from the comics, he's frustratingly smart, so earlier in the film he's been cleverly avoiding bigger scale crime and physical confrontations through a seemingly endless supply of tech and gadgets, something MCU Peter didn't really have to deal with much of when he fought Norman. It could make for a great moment where Peter finally gets his hands on Hobgoblin satisfying the audience, only for the mood to turn when there's no-one there to stop him from nearly killing him.

The Spider-Man 4 and 5 pitch is genuinely amazing and in my opinion is a better way of adapting the “Spider-Man no more” story than Spider-Man 2 and I hope that they touch on most of these in the next trilogy. Can’t wait for the Spider-Man 6 pitch. So early in the video you asked for a title and if you want a title for the movie I would call it *”Spider-Man: past sins”* since it reflects mostly on the past with Osborn, May, MJ, J.J, peters identity and Peter indirectly creating scorpion back in homecoming. I think they should build up the MCU Osborns in this trilogy and fully turn Norman into the goblin in the adult trilogy and he’s probably leading the sinister six or something but that’s just me. And while Kingpin and daredevil is amazing I just gotta ask will venom have his time to shine? Cause if so I think I know what your planning for venom/the symbiote and I like it.
I’d literally die a happy man if MCU’s Norman becomes the green goblin. I don’t care how many times that story has been told, there’s something really weird about this Spider-Man not meeting and eventually fight his own Norman Osborne. And while I loved what they did with Norman in NWH, I can’t help but feel robbed of having him as a variant.
@@meeraso8137 I agree with you on that. They used Norman so well in NWH, made him also feel like a arch enemy for Tom’s Spider-Man and they got William Dafoe back. But I too kinda feel robbed that we can’t have the MCU’s take on Norman Osborn and him being the goblin and Tom’s arch enemy. The only stories I’m ok with the MCU re-telling is the symbiote storyline and their own Norman Osborn. But here’s to hoping.
Imagine if in the next prewrite, the symbiote could attach to Mac while he's still in a coma, making him Venom for the next movie. That would be fucking PERFECT.

Your closing speech about "We all want our heroes to be perfect " should absolutely be the first lines of Jonah's expose on Tombstone. Once Peter emerges from his fight, he sees what he's done, he swings away broken, and then a voiceover of the article about Tombstone plays over the following scenes, commenting on the destruction both he and Spiderman have wrought.
I love this but at the same time, I believe there is NO WAY they’d do something this dark for this version of Spider-Man in the MCU. Which sucks to think about honestly.
I think the best thing about this is Peter taking off the suit, and still going on to nearly kill Gargan, but good god, every single time Goblin's laughter echoes through Peter's mind, and that ending. This was so well done.

I really love this prewrite, some parts of it reminds me of the Spider-Man What If story, “Spider’s Shadow” where it really delves into the more darker tendencies of Peter Parker when he is in possession of the black suit, however, I really like that in your prewrite you’re creating a distinction between Peter’s actions while under the influence of the suit and when he’s in his red and blue costume like you stated, even though the character of Spider-Man is generally known for being more a “PG”, Superhero if you will, but I think presenting moments where he suddenly snaps and loses control can be really powerful, that was one of the things I really liked about Spider-Man 3, Peter himself is the true antagonist of that movie, not Sandman, Harry, or Venom, but Peter himself and although you may be walking on a very thin line with what people may be comfortable with this character, I think it’s great!! Stories like these can open an audience’s perspective on a more friendly neighborhood hero like Spider-Man and give him some angst and depth, all this to say I’m looking forward to your next prewrite of this trilogy!
This would be a perfect end to the 2nd movie. I think that maybe a "return to heroism" storyline would be a good "2.5" movie, like a defenders team up, avengers, or spiderverse movie. Peter is forced into the Spiderman role once again and while he ultimately decides to stay retired at the end of this movie it help sets up a quick, "Okay nevermind I changed my mind I'm spiderman" moment to occur in the final movie of the trilogy.
Not me being actually giddy at the end credits… Genuinely I’d LOVE to see a Daredevil, Spider-Man, and Black Cat crossover in the sixth movie, seeing some of NY’s more down to Earth heroes fighting together against organized crime rather than the usual laser in the sky would be so rewarding.
I quite enjoyed this Pre-Write, I wasn't too big on the previous one but I did like this one. I feel you did a good job showing how Peter's grief and anger impacted him both in and out of the costume. I can't wait to see the final part of this Trilogy. I really would want Peter to start talking to himself like in shows and comics at first, but then, it starts to just be the symbiote voice in his head, it’s his voice with slight distortion, further corrupted by the symbiote. That way it’s not the venom symbiote talking to him as a separate entity like in Tom Hardy’s movies, but instead a parasite trying to fool him into making him believe its thoughts are his own. It’s his own voice
I’m really glad that this was a story about the symbiote that didn’t force in Venom or some shit. We get so many of those nowadays, it’s refreshing to see one that has just Peter’s side of the symbiote and nothing else.

I really agree with that ending. With Peter almost killing Scorpion, I too think it adds more weight and emphasises the consequences his actions have. However, and this may be taking it too far. But if I was the one writing that. I would’ve taken it a step further and have it confirmed in some way that he actually killed the Scorpion. I feel like it would hold a similar weight to your ending and to an extent the ending of far from home, but it would really drive home how much Peter has been mentally twisted due to his current emotions, and how much the symbiotic has changed and effected his mind. It could be an excellent cliffhanger for the 3rd movie. I highly doubt neither Disney nor Sony would ever allow it though lol

I like that this story does Spider-Man No More in a much more faithful way than in the Raimi trilogy. Instead of it being out of selfishness, Peter hangs up the suit because he no longer believes he's doing the right thing as Spider-Man.

This vid is a banger. Watched Part 1 an hour or so ago and I really liked it. I was so happy this video specifically was in my recommended. Legit made a bag of popcorn just to sit down and watch this lol. Loved how dark and gritty it got, which got me hoping Disney/Sony could let a property like Spider-Man go this route. Can't wait for the Spider-Man 6 Prewrite! You just earned a new subscriber. My only critique is the lack of Morbius tbh. I was going to retitle it as "Spider-Man: More-bius", but I'm now inclined to call it "Less-bius" instead.
I love your "prewrites" videos. A good part of the ending got me in tears to be honest. I'm 19, still trying to become and independet person, figure out what kind of person I am and what kind of person I want and should be. Still trying to learn from my mistakes as much as I can, fix as many things I f'ed up as I can and just be as good of a person as I am, even if it's hard and I fail some times. I always loved Peter, Miles, etc but just now I truly relate to their stories and damn, this one hits hard and close to home. It really made me think about who I am, what I'm doing with my life and just live of a "lost teenager with problems in general" and I think this is exactly what a good, meaningfull Spider-Man story should be. Great job, I can't wait for the next one
I loved this video , cool to see more of how the symbiote being more of a devil on shoulder than just turning Peter into psychopath, but I think there some possibility for a more evil symbiote and bring scorpion back, there been story’s of venom and scorpion being bonded , i think the scorpion could get revived by venom, it goal wanting to rejoin Spider-Man and is using scorpion body, with the deal being if scorpion can get it bonded with Spider-Man again they let scorpion go but if they won’t the symbiote will just stop scorpion heart and find a new host, great video

Still thing we need chameleon as a villain, I'm of the opinion he is perfect for spider man 4, but for 5, this really is cool. I love how you incorporated Harry without any of the goblin or oscorp, and Peter quiting for real (or at least for one film) is a really neat idea.

My only issue with the severely injuring scorpion thing is that he does it with a pipe if he just keeps punching him into his face is like covered in blood and his armor and shattered and he’s clearly no longer moving that’d work better imo

I feel like instead of putting Peter in symbiote suit in the middle of the first film could have been handled better. Not saying it’s bad, but make it like Spider-Man three were he uses it but realizes it’s affects and rejects it, until someone dies like felisha or someone else and then he goes on a rage streak. Then have venom set up for the third movie
I love this!!!! This is exactly what I always wanted in not only a spiderman story, but a superhero story. Such a powerful ending, it nearly made me tear up visualizing it. And I love how him giving up the black suit kinda sets up Agent Venom. Perfect!
Pretty good pre-write. I’m hoping the Symbiote isn’t entirely done and we could get either Gargan or Harry as Venom (since that’s been happening in more recent adaptations). Unless you’re excluding Venom because of Sony owning the character and how it might be confusing with Tom Hardy’s Venom.
The pitch was good (specially Jonah's arc) but I have some criticisms: 1) Tombstone and Scorpion knowing who Peter is not only makes NWH ending pointless but also feels like repetive trope. When you have every single villain knowing who Spider man it takes away what makes villains like Venom and Green Goblin so unique compare to the other villains. 2) Not a fan of the ending. I get what you wanted to do but it feels unecessary and out of character for Peter to make this mistakes, specially after all he went through with the black suit. Even after taking the black suit off, I don't see Peter just being "it's ok it was just the symbiote". Recognizing the damage he caused, he still blame himself for being stubborn and let the suit corrupt him. He wouldn't just try to forget his mistakes by blaming only the symbiote because that's what he has been doing during the film, blaming his problem on the world rather than himself.
1.)Scorpion is likely to become Venom in the next prewrite for Spider-Man 6 as Eddie Brock has not been introduced in this prewrite series. 2.)I don't fully understand your issue with the ending but the I believe the whole purpose of the ending was to demonstrate how Peter still hasn't overcame his anger and removing Symbiote hasn't fully fixed him
After this, I don't even think that I'm prepared to see the new official trilogy. This is so damn perfect that it feels like I've watched an official movie. Dude, keep up with this quality

I love the darker aspects of this pitch, you're not trying to please anyone but yourself with a well told story that isnt restrained by previous movies. It's genuine and thought out and just all around a stellar pitch
Pre-Write is pretty good. I guess my only qualm would be Tombstone learning of Peter's identity. I think you can still have this ending by having Scorpion end up with the symbiote for the final fight. A justification for this is perhaps a Black Suited Peter had ripped off Mac's tail from an earlier fight and after Peter gave up the symbiote, the organism found Gargan and bonded as a way for pay back against Peter. It would have Gargan learn Peter's identity without compromising the end of No Way Home, since we know the spell removed practically all trace of Peter's identity and it wouldn't make much sense to just negate that by having someone simply comb through some records.
First off, absolutely amazing video. Start to finish one of my favorites. Secondly, what you did with Scorpion is almost exactly what I did in a story I was writing for Spider-Man during his black suit phase. Though when I did mine he was still wearing the suit. Keep up the great work, your videos were part of the reason I started writing my Spider-Man stories so watching yours is always inspiring
I love these videos so far but I feel like adding Miles Morales in someway would be important, especially with the title of your last prewrite. There's no way Marvel is going to straight up drop Spiderman so having Miles's and Peter's stories being connected in your prewrite trilogy could help a lot with the transition.

Yeah this is dark, but I really like Parker actually having some responibility without the black suit, lotta young adults like you say could use a story about the first massive mistake you make without safety nets, and the feeling that you've truely failed, you're broken and a bad person. I love how you use the symbiote as a way for Peter to see the truth and make it obvious for the audience, but then show how it only opened up his mind to who he is. That’s real, and I love it, you have a strong sense of story and I’m honestly inspired!
I loved this pre-write but I think there’s a major flaw in act 3. I don’t think that Tombstone would order Scorpion to publicly attack Jameson after trying to present himself as a good guy throughout the movie and that too just after Jameson exposes Tombstone for his actions. I think there’d be a different way to setup Scorpion vs Spider-Man fight.

I don't think I would change a single thing about this. Spiderman's accountability for his actions is something kind of glossed over in this movies and this is an amazing way to show how important that is. So pumped for the third one, especially with the daredevil tease. Fantastic job man
I wouldn't get too hung up on the suit working differently considering there have been storylines where the symbiote acts differently solely based on the piece that latched on a person being too small to be nearly as sentient as Venom
Im loving your approach to this trilogy so far, in fact I’d say it might be better than mine. Only thing I could complain about though is the underutilization of MJ. Ever since I played Spiderman PS4 I’ve fallen in love with the idea of MJ being this investigative reporter with PI elements, who’s too nosey for her own good at times. I would’ve love to have seen that element work it’s way into your pitch for the next trilogy, or at least in the legit future trilogy, with maybe a disney plus spin off.
Love how you handled the scorpion, but I always thought it would be awsome to retcon venom into the mcu somehow and when the spaceship crashed, spider man was there and Jonah blamed him for the death of his son, giving him the black suit and creating the scorpion by jjj because it’s personal for him.

I LOVE the pathway for a darker spider-man, it would really make Tom Holland stand on his own in my eyes if he goes through something created BY himself and something he has to solve by himself. And I love the twist of that solution being the wrong one. But personally, to make that scene hit harder I would've made the symbiote removal intentionally difficult, bait the audience into thinking that, yes, he is absolved of all responsibility, and then WHAM, that anger was always just who he was, and facing that head on in the next movie would be glorious. I love this video! Can't wait for part 3
I never liked that idea. It makes the black suit completely obscene in this movie. Might as well not even had it, and just made a film about Peter dealing with his anxiety and anger. I would have made the decision of Peter breaking Gargan's Jaw in two ways:
1.) Remove the Flash scene, have Peter fall down the slippery slope (without the symbiote influencing him, i.e. his own decision), and then when he does the deed, he will realize that although the suit was influencing him through some of his violent actions. He was still to blame for the damage done, ending it with Peter removing the Black Suit, not as the OBJECTIVE solution to all his problems, but removing the obvious variable that is making things worse and then begin to work on himself since he would acknowledge he is still to blame.
2.) The same would happen as it happened in the script, but instead of Peter proceeding with impaling Gargan, he would stop himself at the last minute and realize that it wasn't the suit that was controlling him, gaslighting him, or committing crimes for him. It was *him* this whole time, and then through random villian shenanigans or cliches, Gargan ends up killing or impaling himself just to remove that huge lose end for Peter and the film.
I would have chosen both of those since they feel more in line with what Peter would do, or how the symbiote should function (Not something to remove him of accountability, but as a cautionary tale for Peter, coming in his life either randomly or at a low point and showing him what could happen if he doesn't keep his dark impulses in check, it opens the door to Peter's dark impulses rather then creating them or controlling Peter, hence making him absolved of all his failings). But hey, that's just my opinion.

gotta love that black suit twist man. I’ve always found peter getting away waaaay too easily with the black suit, even in celebrated takes on that arc, such as the recent “spider’s shadow” series. Having that final reveal is such a neat way to subvert our expectation and strengthen the theme of responsibility.
speaking of neat storytelling, the idea of the sequel involving daredevil and kingpin is absolutely amazing. I can’t help but think that this could be what the mcu end up doing as it feels like the perfect culmination of what they’ve been setting up. great video as always and i cant wait for the next prewrite!
This is so random, but pls read this fan fiction call the mask of responsibility. It’s basically a writers own interpretation of Spider-Man in its own universe, that has unique-ish twists but feels familiar to comics. But your comment reminded me of their excellent arc with black cat and Peter and the symbiote, which touches upon what you’re doing. It’s such a genuinely mature and intimate story. Like I skip all the action scenes just to read more about the relationship conversations and drama. It’s so fucking good and it pains me that nobody knows about it
Personally I think that Venom should be the main villain of the third movie in the trilogy. I think the biggest mistake possible for the Symbiote story would be to do it all in one movie and not have be unfolding through the whole trilogy. I like the Tom Hardy movies but I really want to see classic Venom with the spider and everything fighting Spider-Man. And only having a third act with Venom isn’t enough
You have honestly outdone yourself. Having a superhero blockbuster that really explores that lack of a safety net once you become an adult and enter the real world is a harsh but important point in life that I don't think gets highlighted enough in films that the whole family would see, I know I sure as heck wish there was something out there like that when I turned 18. It's such a mature but genius angle for a Spider-Man film that I'm going to be mad if its not present in the next trilogy.
As for the goofy comic stuff though, honestly I'd love a rework of Ultimate Jameson's backstory for the MCU, with his son's death and the lack of closure he received with that and the lack of care the world has for his son compared to Spider-Man, and the subsequent growth he has from that is an angle I love. Sure Jameson in the Ultimate comics didn't like vigilantes or superheroes much in general, but they could alter that to where Mysterio dying and showing his face made him more trustworthy and honest in Jameson's eyes initially.
Also given the likelihood of the black suit being a presence in the fourth film (and hopefully across the next trilogy) I hope they really pull from the 80's comics and bring in Hobgoblin. That'd be an opportunity to introduce a new villain whilst simultaneously serving as a spiritual reminder of Peter's past trauma caused by the Green Goblin, which would work really well with the black suit present similar to Sandman reminding Peter of his Uncle's death in Spider-Man 3. However it would be less personal, maybe to the point where Hobgoblin is perplexed as to why Spider-Man seems to automatically hate him so much. Hobgoblin is initially just doing his own crimes, no personal vendettas against anyone Peter knows he's simply using tech that he stole for his own benefit, but once Spider-Man gets involved not just by interfering with his plans but maybe even going to extremes like threatening his life or maybe toying with him, it pushes Hobgoblin into greater villainy and with that Spider-Man would've basically turned a lower-level supervillain into one of his enemies. Similar to Shocker in the Ultimate comics who Spider-Man pushed to extremes, although Hobgoblin wouldn't be treated as a joke at any point unlike Shocker.
It would be a good way of illustrating that idea of trauma not just going away and the dangers of reliving it, with Peter maybe fighting the Hobgoblin at the end in a similar way to how you presented the Scorpion fight, it could even be explained that whilst some things like the glider or pumpkin bombs were recovered from the Statue of Liberty the Hobgoblin's lack of a serum means when Peter gets into a physical fight with him he's expecting him to take it like Norman did, only for him to be far weaker. The Hobgoblin above all else is sane but still a criminal mastermind which they should carry over from the comics, he's frustratingly smart, so earlier in the film he's been cleverly avoiding bigger scale crime and physical confrontations through a seemingly endless supply of tech and gadgets, something MCU Peter didn't really have to deal with much of when he fought Norman. It could make for a great moment where Peter finally gets his hands on Hobgoblin satisfying the audience, only for the mood to turn when there's no-one there to stop him from nearly killing him.
I swear this prewrite was AMAZING, I even loved when Peter slammed the pipe on Scorpion, it truly shows his anger that we saw in No Way Home
THIS IS THE BEST TOM HOLLAND SPIDER-MAN PRE-WRITE IVE EVER LISTENED TOO!! The Spider-Man 4 and 5 pitch is genuinely amazing and in my opinion is a better way of adapting the “Spider-Man no more” story than Spider-Man 2 and I hope that they touch on most of these in the next trilogy. Can’t wait for the Spider-Man 6 pitch. So early in the video you asked for a title and if you want a title for the movie I would call it *”Spider-Man: past sins”* since it reflects mostly on the past with Osborn, May, MJ, J.J, peters identity and Peter indirectly creating scorpion back in homecoming. I think they should build up the MCU Osborns in this trilogy and fully turn Norman into the goblin in the adult trilogy and he’s probably leading the sinister six or something but that’s just me. And while Kingpin and daredevil is amazing I just gotta ask will venom have his time to shine? Cause if so I think I know what your planning for venom/the symbiote and I like it.
I’d literally die a happy man if MCU’s Norman becomes the green goblin. I don’t care how many times that story has been told, there’s something really weird about this Spider-Man not meeting and eventually fight his own Norman Osborne. And while I loved what they did with Norman in NWH, I can’t help but feel robbed of having him as a variant.

But I too kinda feel robbed that we can’t have the MCU’s take on Norman Osborn and him being the goblin and Tom’s arch enemy. The only stories I’m ok with the MCU re-telling is the symbiote storyline and their own Norman Osborn. But here’s to hoping.

I think the best thing about this is Peter taking off the suit, and still going on to nearly kill Gargan, but good god, every single time Goblin's laughter echoes through Peter's mind, and that ending. This was so well done.

I really love this prewrite, some parts of it reminds me of the Spider-Man What If story, “Spider’s Shadow” where it really delves into the more darker tendencies of Peter Parker when he is in possession of the black suit, however, I really like that in your prewrite you’re creating a distinction between Peter’s actions while under the influence of the suit and when he’s in his red and blue costume like you stated, even though the character of Spider-Man is generally known for being more a “PG”, Superhero if you will, but I think presenting moments where he suddenly snaps and loses control can be really powerful, that was one of the things I really liked about Spider-Man 3, Peter himself is the true antagonist of that movie, not Sandman, Harry, or Venom, but Peter himself and although you may be walking on a very thin line with what people may be comfortable with this character, I think it’s great!! Stories like these can open an audience’s perspective on a more friendly neighborhood hero like Spider-Man and give him some angst and depth, all this to say I’m looking forward to your next prewrite of this trilogy!

This would be a perfect end to the 2nd movie. I think that maybe a "return to heroism" storyline would be a good "2.5" movie, like a defenders team up, avengers, or spiderverse movie. Peter is forced into the Spiderman role once again and while he ultimately decides to stay retired at the end of this movie it help sets up a quick, "Okay nevermind I changed my mind I'm spiderman" moment to occur in the final movie of the trilogy.
Ngl, The “Peters Miserable” chapter made me cry. This story is beautiful and I hope that the actual movie will be like this.

I really would want Peter to start talking to himself like in shows and comics at first, but then, it starts to just be the symbiote voice in his head, it’s his voice with slight distortion, further corrupted by the symbiote. That way it’s not the venom symbiote talking to him as a separate entity like in Tom Hardy’s movies, but instead a parasite trying to fool him into making him believe its thoughts are his own. It’s his own voice

I really agree with that ending. With Peter almost killing Scorpion, I too think it adds more weight and emphasises the consequences his actions have.
However, and this may be taking it too far. But if I was the one writing that. I would’ve taken it a step further and have it confirmed in some way that he actually killed the Scorpion. I feel like it would hold a similar weight to your ending and to an extent the ending of far from home, but it would really drive home how much Peter has been mentally twisted due to his current emotions, and how much the symbiotic has changed and effected his mind. It could be an excellent cliffhanger for the 3rd movie.

I like that this story does Spider-Man No More in a much more faithful way than in the Raimi trilogy. Instead of it being out of selfishness, Peter hangs up the suit because he no longer believes he's doing the right thing as Spider-Man.

This vid is a banger. Watched Part 1 an hour or so ago and I really liked it. I was so happy this video specifically was in my recommended. Legit made a bag of popcorn just to sit down and watch this lol. Loved how dark and gritty it got, which got me hoping Disney/Sony could let a property like Spider-Man go this route. I love your "prewrites" videos. A good part of the ending got me in tears to be honest.
I'm 19, still trying to become and independet person, figure out what kind of person I am and what kind of person I want and should be. Still trying to learn from my mistakes as much as I can, fix as many things I f'ed up as I can and just be as good of a person as I am, even if it's hard and I fail some times.
I always loved Peter, Miles, etc but just now I truly relate to their stories and damn, this one hits hard and close to home. It really made me think about who I am, what I'm doing with my life and just live of a "lost teenager with problems in general" and I think this is exactly what a good, meaningfull Spider-Man story should be.

I loved this video , cool to see more of how the symbiote being more of a devil on shoulder than just turning Peter into psychopath, but I think there some possibility for a more evil symbiote and bring scorpion back, there been story’s of venom and scorpion being bonded , i think the scorpion could get revived by venom, it goal wanting to rejoin Spider-Man and is using scorpion body, with the deal being if scorpion can get it bonded with Spider-Man again they let scorpion go but if they won’t the symbiote will just stop scorpion heart and find a new host, great video
This is easily the best pitch for any College trilogy movie I've seen. Some of the stuff was genuinely chilling, and I almost got tears in my eyes during the Aunt May scene. Great job!
Still thing we need chameleon as a villain, I'm of the opinion he is perfect for spider man 4, but for 5, this really is cool. I love how you incorporated Harry without any of the goblin or oscorp, and Peter quiting for real (or at least for one film) is a really neat idea.

My only issue with the severely injuring scorpion thing is that he does it with a pipe if he just keeps punching him into his face is like covered in blood and his armor and shattered and he’s clearly no longer moving that’d work better imo

I feel like instead of putting Peter in symbiote suit in the middle of the first film could have been handled better. Not saying it’s bad, but make it like Spider-Man three were he uses it but realizes it’s affects and rejects it, until someone dies like felisha or someone else and then he goes on a rage streak. Then have venom set up for the third movie

Pretty good pre-write. I’m hoping the Symbiote isn’t entirely done and we could get either Gargan or Harry as Venom (since that’s been happening in more recent adaptations). Unless you’re excluding Venom because of Sony owning the character and how it might be confusing with Tom Hardy’s Venom.

The pitch was good (specially Jonah's arc) but I have some criticisms:
1) Tombstone and Scorpion knowing who Peter is not only makes NWH ending pointless but also feels like repetive trope. When you have every single villain knowing who Spider man it takes away what makes villains like Venom and Green Goblin so unique compare to the other villains.
2) Not a fan of the ending. I get what you wanted to do but it feels unecessary and out of character for Peter to make this mistakes, specially after all he went through with the black suit. Even after taking the black suit off, I don't see Peter just being "it's ok it was just the symbiote". Recognizing the damage he caused, he still blame himself for being stubborn and let the suit corrupt him. He wouldn't just try to forget his mistakes by blaming only the symbiote because that's what he has been doing during the film, blaming his problem on the world rather than himself.
1.)Scorpion is likely to become Venom in the next prewrite for Spider-Man 6 as Eddie Brock has not been introduced in this prewrite series.
2.)I don't fully understand your issue with the ending but the I believe the whole purpose of the ending was to demonstrate how Peter still hasn't overcame his anger and removing Symbiote hasn't fully fixed him
After this, I don't even think that I'm prepared to see the new official trilogy. This is so damn perfect that it feels like I've watched an official movie.

I love the darker aspects of this pitch, you're not trying to please anyone but yourself with a well told story that isnt restrained by previous movies. It's genuine and thought out and just all around a stellar pitch
Pre-Write is pretty good. I guess my only qualm would be Tombstone learning of Peter's identity. I think you can still have this ending by having Scorpion end up with the symbiote for the final fight.
A justification for this is perhaps a Black Suited Peter had ripped off Mac's tail from an earlier fight and after Peter gave up the symbiote, the organism found Gargan and bonded as a way for pay back against Peter.
It would have Gargan learn Peter's identity without compromising the end of No Way Home, since we know the spell removed practically all trace of Peter's identity and it wouldn't make much sense to just negate that by having someone simply comb through some records.
First off, absolutely amazing video. Start to finish one of my favorites. Secondly, what you did with Scorpion is almost exactly what I did in a story I was writing for Spider-Man during his black suit phase. Though when I did mine he was still wearing the suit. Keep up the great work, your videos were part of the reason I started writing my Spider-Man stories so watching yours is always inspiring
I love these videos so far but I feel like adding Miles Morales in someway would be important, especially with the title of your last prewrite. There's no way Marvel is going to straight up drop Spiderman so having Miles's and Peter's stories being connected in your prewrite trilogy could help a lot with the transition.

Yeah this is dark, but I really like Parker actually having some responibility without the black suit, lotta young adults like you say could use a story about the first massive mistake you make without safety nets, and the feeling that you've truely failed, you're broken and a bad person.
Using SpiderMan, especially this one to help tell that story could have a very uplifting and inspiring ending 3rd
The only critic i have for this is that troyoboyo has a lot of cameos. We had about six to seven new characters on the last one.

I love how you use the symbiote as a way for Peter to see the truth and make it obvious for the audience, but then show how it only opened up his mind to who he is. That’s real, and I love it, you have a strong sense of story and I’m honestly inspired!
I loved this pre-write but I think there’s a major flaw in act 3. I don’t think that Tombstone would order Scorpion to publicly attack Jameson after trying to present himself as a good guy throughout the movie and that too just after Jameson exposes Tombstone for his actions. I think there’d be a different way to setup Scorpion vs Spider-Man fight.

I don't think I would change a single thing about this. Spiderman's accountability for his actions is something kind of glossed over in this movies and this is an amazing way to show how important that is. So pumped for the third one, especially with the daredevil tease. Fantastic job man

Im loving your approach to this trilogy so far, in fact I’d say it might be better than mine. Only thing I could complain about though is the underutilization of MJ. Ever since I played Spiderman PS4 I’ve fallen in love with the idea of MJ being this investigative reporter with PI elements, who’s too nosey for her own good at times. I would’ve love to have seen that element work it’s way into your pitch for the next trilogy, or at least in the legit future trilogy, with maybe a disney plus spin off.
Love how you handled the scorpion, but I always thought it would be awsome to retcon venom into the mcu somehow and when the spaceship crashed, spider man was there and Jonah blamed him for the death of his son, giving him the black suit and creating the scorpion by jjj because it’s personal for him.
