I'm a 55 year old guy who has been to a LOT of shows in my life and toured for 5 years in a metal band...and these guys were the craziest bunch I've ever seen in concert.

I've seen them 8 times live and they killed it everytime!!! I even saw them twice in one day when they did the world record. I got lucky enough to drink with them 2 times in the closest bar after their show.
They used to do free concerts like that frequently, the radio station would advertise it that morning you show up and away we go!! Seen one in KC

Yes it is a true story I live here in Georgia and I used to watch these guys play in the clubs and I have met these guys in person a couple times back around 1989 and 90 here in Atlanta Georgia. It was great watching these guys play Back before they got signed to a major record label. They definitely kicked ass

K Mart refused to sell the cd, and Jessie James Dupre gave the argument that in violation of First Amendment/ Freedom of speech rights and rented a forty foot flatbed truck & played a concert to the patrons of K Mart in Marietta, GA.
K Mart refused to sell the cd as it was because the album included a song called She Loves My C&ck, so the subsequently released a song that didn’t have the song in question on the album.

I’m late watching this. One heck of an entertaining band. The band I was in, in the 90s-early 2000’s, had the opportunity to open for them at a venue near my home town. They asked for us specifically! Unfortunately, we were singerless at the time and couldn’t. I STILL get bummed thinking about it. What if??? Sigh.

Jesse James Dupree, In 2007, Dupree founded Mighty Loud Entertainment, a record label and artist Management and Marketing company. With business partner, Michael Ballard, Dupree brought the television series to the airwaves on TruTV in 2009. After five successful seasons with TruTV, the series was picked up by Reels Channel; season premiere on October 3, 2014. Ballard and his wife, Angie, appear in each episode along with Dupree.

Watches small documentary about this that van was there only gig van at the time they made money just for blowing it up but it was a risk at the time because they weren't all that big and as well known like they are today also was part of a geniuss book of world records of x number of concerts in a curtain time frame
