I am absolutely in love with XB3, Started it a few hours ago. They have done incredible things for this game. It has met and surpassed expectations so far, I can't wait to see the entire storyline.
This is one of those franchises that still prioritizes quality. It makes me so happy to still see games like this coming out. I’ll never be the type to complain about the devs taking their time.
Monolith Soft is sticking to what the do best. Xenoblade is a unique rpg that can never be replaced. I am glad that Nintendo is recognizing that this is a franchise that very important to them and us. I hope this helps and have a wonderful day.
Started playing the moment it released, and after about 2 1/2 hours I can safely say the level of polish is far beyond anything Monolithsoft has done. In just the little bit that I’ve played, I can tell I’m in for a majestic experience.
My switch is officially the Xenoblade machine I've played through 1,2 and torna multiple times already and I can tell after just a few hours in 3 that it's gonna be getting multiple playthroughs as well! ..... God I love monolith soft
So excited! Only 7 hours in, loving it already the combat system is insanely good already. 100 hrs each play XC and 300 hrs XC2 EACH time. Hoping to drag this one out much longer
I played my first 3 hours today before I had to go to work, it's already tickled my brain in all the ways only Xenoblade can and it hasn't even warmed up yet. It's 1am and I've just finished work, I'm going to have a feed then smash some beers and explore Aionios.
The opening hour itself showcases just how superior this game is to the previous titles and just how much effort was put into the game. It is great so far.
Glad for XC fans…hoping that XC becomes the FF for Nintendo since it seems we won’t really get the newer FF games on Nintendo any time soon (or maybe at all)
Can't wait to get back home and start this game. I've played Xenoblade Chronicles since it's release on the Wii and even if it isn't the most polished game ever it is and probably will always be my Top 3 games. Really thankful to those people bringing it over from Japan.
30 hrs into XC3. Good stuff. Looking forward to what is next. I love how the areas are conected and the wolrd feels as a big cohesive country/continent. Still lots to do and probably at the 50-60% story-wise. Once I buy the cartridge, I will give it another run on my other Switch. What I love about the combat, is that it feels like an evolved version of 2 mixed with the fast pace of Torna, plus elements 1/DE plus new stuff. I love it. I am not a fan or Torna's combat (my least favorite of all), but I am in awe and love with 3's. BTW, I really want X's port now, and maybe X-2 on the next Nintendo system (that should be the next immediate step and immagine an expanded Mira with new mechanics and next gen graphics, that would be top tier stuff). A brand new game will of course be welcomed too, obviously. Good things are here and coming in the future from Monolift soft, and like the team said, XC3 is like a foretelling/preview of that. About the Chronicles, that is just a word they pull out of their backside for the "western" release. We all know these games are just called Xenoblade. Super happy and exited for what's to come!
part of me kind of hopes xenoblade DOES end, and then we get another Xeno franchise that can break away from some of the pillars of the series while still feeling like it fits in that wider universe.... we have xenogears, xenosaga, xenoblade... maybe it would be cool to get like Xenoportal or Xenoworld, or XenoRGTplayingBallanWonderworld... just something that truly lets them break from expectations without moving away from the tone entirely. Then maybe, after a decade of this new xeno franchise, we can all have our minds utterly blown by the reveal of Xenoblade Chronicles 4. That, and I would also like to see some of the other projects the studio has hinted at.

Recenty I had been palying FF12 to get that "Xenoblade" feel in the combat as that game was the one that first used a similar system. Wished SE did another game in the same vein.
Waiting for Amazon to deliver my copy but I'll be diving in as soon as I get it. That developer talk was a great insight read behind the thought process and decisions they made. Always enjoyed reading these when they do them. It's one of the best things started by Iwata. The flute and music part was really interesting. I haven't even played their current game yet but Takahashi just throwing out that blurb at the end about imagining their future games while playing this got me more pumped.

From the views, to enemy designs to combat and characters, this is all I ever wanted from a game and more. When I first started XC: DE, I was in love and could not believe someone made a game like that, XC 2 was a hit and miss in some areas but still had a solid story and very fun combat, now this, this is just something else. Boy am I glad to have vacation right now. Goodbye social life. If anyone is still one the fence, just buy it, no need for sale, the amount of content you get is bonkers. Day 1 DLC is nothing important, just some meh recolors and items you literally find lying on the ground in the first 2 maps. The next batch should be more interesting with special battles and new hero.
In an interview from several years ago, I think around the time XC2 was about to or had just released, Monolithsoft had announced their next game was a medieval/fantasy style game and even had concept art posted for it. Perhaps Nintendo made them conclude the XC era and they will now continue into that.
I kinda got fatigued of Xenoblade after finishing up the series so far with XB2 the golden country, however im slowly getting the feeling back that i want to jump into XB3 as it goes back to parts of XB1 i just do not have the time right now so it has to wait...
I am preparing myself for a long night. I got my physical copy and I'm reviewing all aspects of the stories I've already played through so I don't forget anything important. I have easily 2000 hours invested into the Xeno franchise and I wil likely add several hundred more in with #3. I am so stoked. My jaw dropped when I saw 5 times the size and hearing that they want to make the dlc as expansive as Torna made me so pumped. Happy squeels!

Im fine with XC3 being the game to close out the trilogy of X1 X2 and X3. But I want ONE more thing before im comfortable with them moving on from the switch to next gen or whatever. XCX needs to release for switch with a post game story to close out the story of XCX. Just like XCDE did with future connected.

The game has been amazing so far, my only complaint is that healers don’t really feel that fun to play (due to having not having many attacking arts) but I’m assuming that will change when I start unlocking support master arts

Xenogears is owned by Se and they have been on a role with updating some old franchises in their hd2d stuff.Not sure if they would pay the budget tho to get everyone back to complete xenogears and remake it tho and flesh out the whole game doesn't sound profitable from a business standpoint. I do see a remaster maybe down the line tho.

I dont know what angle this is seeing but I already finish xb3 and xb2 have far the most content than 3. There fewer side quest in this and the blade system in 2 just beat xb3 by sheer amount and quality compare to the class system of 3. The only thing 3 have more quantity is area volume i felt like i walk and walk in this game for far too long.
My first ever xc…9 hours playing..got stomped so many times in hard mode but im getting in there..so far interesting story but i really dont know what to do with the loot in the map..anyone can give me a guide about the loot on the map
Dont worry about the loot there only there to upgrade gem which you can skip level as long as you have the complete ingredience. And i suggest not playing this on hard enemy on this game have large hp to begin with even on easy the experience is basically the same the only difference is your going to fight longer.

Played this game for 15 hours straight no regrets its So good and I can't wait to finish the story
