Yang and Blake had 0 intimate moments in volume 1. This song played right after Weiss told Blake she didn't care whether she was with the White Fang in the past and that she should talk to her team about her problems more. Yang didn't do squat. The focuses of the V1 finale were Blake, Weiss, Sun, Ruby, and Penny. Get your minds out of the gutter and stop dragging everything into your dumb OTP.

I look at it as yang letting Blake know her past and everything she has done won't hold her down and that meeting ruby and them technically helped her take flight and lifted her out of depression and wanting to be alone and helpled her relize that where there are shadows there is also light and that people can change look at Jaun he became stronger Blake didn't wanna be alone Weiss accepted fanus ruby grew up more and yang realized you can't solve everything by hitting it emerald and hazel found out vengeance and causing pain wouldn't solve anything Ren learned to open your eyes to the people you have in front of you that love you and Nora learned that you must find yourself to truly be happy weises brother learned that as family you must stick together penny learned what being a real human was qrow learned that even with the worst of luck there still moments of joy in life and ozpin is learning that you can't keep secrets and all from ally's
I like to look at it as yang is the one singing this to Blake because this sound like the type of emotional stuff yang would say to Blake to bring her out her depression
