@@eggdogtim8593 they were all pretty busy yk trying to escape the ever after?? Plus yang gave up her childhood for ruby you cant call her a bad sister for wanting something for once
I didn’t realize until I actually read the lyrics and listened to the song that this was just Yang singing to Ruby about how much she loves her and now I can’t get enough. I love this sister duo so much and this song is so cute (probably helps that I’m also a big sister lmao)
usually i just find this song happy and beautiful. But today, i'm sure it's because i'm tired and can't control my feelings xD but it made cry a bit because i think of my big sister. We aren't as close as Yang and Ruby but she's always there for me, especially last year when we lost our mother. we can be silent for a few months and when we call each other, we talk for hours ! But i feel a bit useless for her, she's much stronger than me and i don't really find when i can help her... it's not mandatory that it goes both way but still, it hurts a bit. Maybe that's why i'm crying xD I really love the duo Yang/Ruby, that the relationship siblings should have!
I miss when Yang was an actual older sister to Ruby rather than some lovebird who does nothing to contribute to the show other than act as a support for Blake.
Ruby has grown up, she doesn't really need a big sister to protect her anymore. She just needs a teammate. Both Yang and Blake have been through some things. They need each other.
@@sukikurai You have a serious problem. Anybody who truly loves their family would be constantly worried about them in such a terrible situation. They are facing a terrifying and powerful enemy who could kill any of them. She was worried about Blake but seems to forget about Weiss, Ruby, and Qrow(the scene where they were attacked and he was very drunk). You people love to use this defense but ask a parent who have children in the military do they worry? I bet you they will all tell you they do, no matter how old or experienced their child is. And remember, the book they created to the show said Yang is overprotective.
@@shayla106 first of all i have not read the book I didn’t even know there was a book. second of all she hasn’t forgotten about them, she just recognizes who it is that needs her help right now. you can easily tell by the looks she gives her and the things she says that she is very proud of Ruby. Ruby is their team leader all of them would fight for her. if Ruby needs them she just has to say the word. all i meant in my message was that there has been a lot of character progression. yang’s priorities have changed from being a good big sister to being a good teammate.
@@shayla106 A few thing I would like to say here. First, Ruby and Weiss were in control during that scene and would have called for help if they needed it. Blake, on the other hand, was just standing there, likely in shock after her fright with the apathy. Yang was helping the whole team there, removing Blake from the danger zone and clearing the field for Weiss and Ruby. Second, in Volume 8 Chapter 11, there is a scene where Ruby runs out of the room on the verge of tears. Yang immediately follows her and tries to console her. Those of us who have watched the show know how it goes, and the important part here is that Blake is not the sole subject of Yang's attention, which leads me to my third point. When Neo tries to attack Ruby two episodes later, Yang doesn't hesitate once to throw herself in harm's way for Ruby's sake. As you stated would be the case, Blake is torn up over the result, but she does shift her focus from Neo to the more pressing matter at hand. Yang is not the sole object of her attention.
Yang is a sister to Ruby a lot of the time. But people also have those they love and that naturally distracts correctly. Plus Ruby turns away help acts like she's fine way to much.

Gosh I love this show so much I can’t listen to the music anymore without wanting to cry cuz I’m so happy listening and watching 🤣
This the perfect Yang and Ruby song
As it shows how much she cares
Hands among the best themes.
The Qrow dab is my favorite part of all these songs
OMG Qrow at the end, I'm dying XD
I was feeling pretty emotional and crying, listening to this though made me actually smile.
The background picture is cute :)
I prefer the acoustic version, there it sounds like yang singing to ruby
This song is like a rainbow road ❤❤❤
