When my Yamaha FZR 250 3LN1 was rebuilt , my mechanic friend has a better level of cleanliness than that described in this video . He has a clean room for engine & gearbox tasks .

difference between a engine that means a lot to someone and needs to be built well once to have a years or decades long shelf life vs an engine that doesn't have to last a week, and has 30 twins built to destroy also.

although you could probably get a engine like this working in a normal road car it would only last around 400km. Even if you did it you would have to pretty much redline every gear to keep the engine working optimally.

@@mvgeese No you don't, you can drive it at moderate RPM and do the 80mph comfortably. Second it'll last more than 400km since that mileage was determined to be at F1 race speeds and torture. Normal road use will give you much much more. The real question is why would you want to.....

@@sabercruiser.7053 well of course a v6 doesn't match the v10s and v12s. Although we could get some after this next rule change as the v6's are too expensive/difficult for teams outside of Mercedes/Ferrari/Renault/Honda to produce. One of the big reasons they switched to v6's was to bring in more manufacturers anyways

This is all bullshit. Honda F1 engines during the late 90's and early 00's up until around 2009 were built at Brixworth by Mercedes along with Toyota F1 engines.
