Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty extended DLC OST, that plays as battle theme against in quest "The Killing Moon". Composed by: P.T. Adamczyk, Jacek Paciorkowski.
I love the fact both endings are complete polar opposites, one is a horror sequence where you are powerless, and this is where you are literally slaughtering an entire corporate army
One makes you a living legend defying all odds, and the other leaves you a snivelling coward left to scamper in the dark. It's like the game's telling you that protecting So Mi is the right choice.
I wish I got to fight the NUS special forces more in the game, but it makes sense why you only fight them once. The only faction that actually felt dangerous to fight in a non very hard mode run. Optical camo shotgunner jumpscare
Sorry for Reed, but Alex and So Mi deserve their "happy" ending. Myers can go to shit. And V getting his Blaze of glory in Arasaka tower in the Don't fear the reaper ending. Thats the best outcome for me.
This music..made this part in the game a moment ill never forget. It’s one of those perfect symmetry moments that is etched in your brain long after it’s gone. One of the greatest moments in a video game I’ve ever experienced.
I didn't remember feeling like surviving. The "Grey fox" build i made made me almost impossible to kill even while taking bullets. It was insane how much i slashed people here. I felt like the Doom Slayer, and they were the mortally challenged people.
@@DrCoomer_1 V is arguably on a level higher than Smasher, if only barely cause the games objective canon requires him to beat Smasher in Saka tower like... 7/9 times

Argue about the morality of So Mi until you're blue in the face, but only one ending lets you punch a hole through a fed's chest with gorilla arms while this song plays. So I think we all know which is best.

this fight made me feel like more of a legend than the smasher boss. The NUSA waves come from multiple directions, with you not having a ton of cover, and it forces you to play offensively. They go all out and if you want to win, you need to match them
I just want to imagine the face of President Myers when she walks in the spaceport station and see it full of the dismembered bodies of her soldiers. Low tier Merc my ass. V is THEM.
Finished Phantom Liberty yesterday, and jesus christ, this song is a blast. 2:59 this part makes me go crazy, it fits so well with the "situation" you're in.
Seriously, thank you so much for extending this incredible tune and making it even better! It's an absolute banger and my favorite battle theme in CP 2077!
One thing i wanted from CP that we never got in full,.... i wanna personally go and explore the net. The Blackwall, and beyond, and face things there. I wanted that sooo bad. Words fail to describe it.
I'll never forget the sound of my V laughing as she activated the sandevistan and unloaded the Ba Xing Chong explosive smart shotgun at point blank range. Watching every spec ops soldier turn to meat as the missiles hit them in slow motion, swapping to the byakko and slicing people into ribbons at warp speed while this song played with the 'edgerunner' perk constantly being triggered giving V fits of cyberpsychosis. No one left that terminal alive.
So classic of Mayer's to sit in her AV and sip champagne while hundreds of the most well-equipped trained spec ops NASA has to offer get slaughtered like cattle by the god emperor of cyberpunk, aka V.
This whole track just kicks so much ass! As much as Somewhat Damaged was amazing, and horrifying and scary, I am glad this was the ending I chose. Everyone already talks about 2:00 onwards, and yeah that is amazing. But to me, the riff at 6:14 that plays when SoMi is tapping into the Blackwall is unfogettable. You really get the sense in doing that, you are crossing an incredibly dangerous threshold out of pure desperation.
2:04 after a brief talk with So Mi, that sure as shit felt like a brief moment to prepare for the real fight, this drop hits you hard. And when it drops, just say thanks to yourself in the past that he/she chose to make a melee sandevistan build…
When I walked through the battle with So Mi I didn't notice that some parts just go on. It must have been pure awkwardness for the soldiers of either side to first engage in raw total combat to only see a specced up merc entering the room with red eyes... BAM All of em wake up 6h later with a brutal headache from a proper sonic shock, cyberware malfunction, synapse burnout, rando control hack combo insta nuking their asses into temporary coma.
