I did paint correction and 5-3 stack for Mother's day gift on her 5 yr old SUV. WOW so shiny and slick! She said it feels like velvet and looks better than new! DIY Rocks!
The ones I have done is 8 and 3 instead of 5 and 3. Because of our temperature in our island me and my friend Detailer who we share tools and products besides knowledge, applied the 8 years coating under a 95 degrees Fahrenheit day and 92% humidity, took the vehicle outside under the sun for 45 minutes so it cured before applying the 3 years coating, let it cool for like 30 minutes, then applied the 3 years coating, took it outside again and 45 minutes later we called the customer to get the vehicle. Between wash, decontamination, enhancement, and coating all done between the two of us in 3 hours. I told Yvan what we did and obviously he recommended to wait 2 hours between the 2 coatings. We did for another vehicles as he said and as we did and no difference for now per our experience. All because of our temperature and humidity is way higher than any place in the USA so curing is way faster 😜😜
@@1stfrompuertorico568 oh wow when reading this I was going to talk about the 2 hours wait 😂 but 92% humidity is crazy 😨 I don’t know how you do it haha, but not having to wait the full 2 hours wait between coats is nice, my 2 hour wait was 10pm-00h00.. and then I applied the 3 year, I would have taken the 45 min wait here instead of 2h for sure haha but hey it is what it is. Thanks for the comment 👍🏻
@@marteaubu yeah I have watched most of their videos and tested some of their products, absolutely love them and plan on getting their whole line of products in the future! They’re easy to use, effective, and cheaper than most brands out there. 👌🏻
I got it from Amazon, it is called a stability disc, also didn’t want to start off with a 200$ wash bucket so I tried the home made way haha works pretty good for now
Nice job! You explained and showed everything really well. If you have a lavalier mic it might help your audio a bit (less reverb). If you don’t, something to save up for in the future. Rode makes some decent options.
Merci!
@@marteaubumerci du feed-back!
I know I wasn’t proud of myself on this one.. was exhausted and had to wake up 2-3 hours after finishing this job, so I prioritized sleep instead of the video on the spot.. I’ll have more ceramic coating videos coming where I show exactly how it’s done. Thanks for watching.

Yep the combo is just absolutely crazy! I can’t even imagine their new C6ceramics coating, the stuff must be out of this world 😂

Antoine, seems like your backing plate is loose, tighten the screw.
That’s what I was thinking, tightened it up and it works great! Thanks a lot 👍🏻

Très bon video, continue ton bon travail! ✌
Merci!
Great Job!
Thank you!
Where did you get the angled grit guard to scrub the pad with? Looks very useful since I don't want to buy the lake country pad cleaner.

Thank you Bruce! I recently just bought the DJI mic 2 which is similar to some that rode makes, the future videos will have better sound ;)
