    I had the ssr 143 back in the day. Basically a bbr clone. With the aluminum frame and oil cooler. Shit was probably the sickest 4 stroke I ever had

    To stop the vibrations i put rubber washers behind every bolt so its now metal to metal and it cushions the bolt so it dont come loose no loctite needed 💪🏼💯💨💨💨💨💨 sweet bike ima get those grips and motor throw on this rfz

      @@SpACeCruizeR2o3 good idea man whatever works! The vibration is normal tho once the bikes on the ground it doesn’t vibrate as much as when its sitting on the stand like that but i dont run any rubber washers because i torque everything to spec an that wouldn’t allow for correct torque spec. • @JesseK410
      @JesseK410  ปีที่แล้ว

      I used simple green and water then i went an touched up a few spots with VHT black enamel spray paint. And for the swinger i used mothers metal polish. The bike was actually pretty clean when i picked it up, it just needed to be fully taken apart an gone through

    Those tires stay on the wheels that it comes with or do you need new wheels? and do you need tires too?

    • @JesseK410
      @JesseK410  ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought new wheels because i wanted a motocross/off road setup an also the supermoto/street steup…keep in mind on the blue wheels are both 12 inch rims and the stock wheels are 12 and 14 inch rims…i change the tires out from the factory anyways, the ones that they come with aren’t that great i love the Mitas / IRC combo i have on the dirt wheels i highly recommend that setup on factory wheels for MX

    Do you have anything else done to your motor? I have the same 26 flat slide, same jets and it’s tuned exactly like yours. Bike cuts out/ bogs right before it hits top powerband

    • @JesseK410
      @JesseK410  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The engine is stock besides the exhaust and the carb but keep in mind im also at sea level so elevation will effect the jetting and one thing to double check is your valve lash i have mine set to .003 and .004 ..judging by what ur describing i would try going with a larger main jet and see if it gets better or worse but when your 3/4 - wide open throttle your running on the main jet so that’s definitely what your gonna wanna mess with but not to say its not something else causing the issue…when did it first start doing that?, when you put the carb on?

    • @JesseK410
      @JesseK410  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I love 2 strokes! For a pitbike not so much tho bc its not considered a pitbike bc its liquid cooled and also 2 stroke obviously so there not allowed to race with pitbikes. Unless you a really small dude a kx65 will be way to small the rider triangle is to tight as its meant for a young kid. I had a kx60 and more recently a ktm65 i made into a supermoto but was just to small an uncomfortable i thought

    • @JesseK410

      I don’t use a torque spec for the pivot bolt, just gotta make sure its tight and use some red lock on the nut. Don’t over tighten it so much as to blow out the bearings.
