Recently got a 22' Fly Ebikes 72v 3000w, 100a VOTOL controller, and need some help with my mode selection. i have R-P-D-S on the bars, and R-P-2-3 is what i'm actually getting as an output from the switch to the display, causing the bike to be limited to 3rd! Please help. Also believe im relatively local. PS: Id also like to know if i can change my charge adaptor to be able to charge at a station with a more universal charge input plug. I don't care as much about quicker charges times opposed to battery longevity, just want the ability to use a Tesla station or similar.
For the charge station watch my j1772 videos and as far as the 3rd gear goes thats difficult. The easiest way to achieve what ur trying to do is to pick a gear on ur switch that you want to use for whatever speed and find the function u want through the controller software and set it to whatever u desire. Lots of trial and error my friend. Good luck! 👍

In Ontario Canada the OPP are really going hard against e-bikes I know two of my friends got nailed going over 32km so they had there bike impounded for a week and was charged with no license and insurance and there in court next week. The officer told them there looking at fines up to 5 thousand .
OPP stick to the highways here my friend. The Niagara Region cops r pretty chill. I've dealt with a few. Even got 1 or 2 as subscribers that I know of 🙂. Tnx for watchin!
I heard of a dude getting pulled over for doing 65 on his emmo ,The popo impounded his bike for 7 days and he had to pay $400 to get it out from the pound ,then he was allso fined for the mods on the bike . Chears ,Ride safe bro.
It's winter. The leo can fit into a box right now. It's fully disassembled. No ride vids for atleast another 2-3 months. It's a nice weather bike. Gotta wait for the nice weather my friend.
I’m from USA. I hope they change the ebike laws. It’s ridiculous how they have you go 32kmh. That’s like 19 mph here. Would like to move to Canada. But I think being as tho I can’t ride fast like we do here and need to have 500w motor. As far as I know. USA don’t have watts limit. They selling 5,000 watt motor here. Y’all should make some protest to have the ebike law changed! They say accidents. But those accidents are accidents from 4 wheel vehicles. Not paying attention to road and following rules of the road
It's the same in the US, as far as speed limits, power, etc. Companies will always skirt the rules. The cops down there ain't really different than the cops up here. If you ain't acting like an idiot, most cops won't bother. Most cops also don't know the rules on these things, except that you need pedals. Most of the motors stamped 500w are actually more, which gives you the power to get up hills on 3. Emmo 500w motors are actually 1000w. Tao Leo comes with a 3000w. I'm from the US, by the way, so I know first-hand, at least where I'm at in Ontario. I ride with traffic, I don't ride like an idiot, and I ride just like I would a regular ole motorcycle.
Agreed. They don't bother u if u don't give them a reason. Also, they won't chase u around here if they know they can't catch you 😉. And it's 32kph here too but no1 actually follows it.
@@GreenLeoMan I bought a used 2021 Emmo Zone GTS. Fastest I've gotten it, so far, is 70. I am working on it, piece by piece. I put it up for sale. If I do, I'll be grabbing a Leo. If not, I'll just keep working on this. Waiting on lithium, but had to go with a smaller 20ah. Fixing to replace the throttle, and right switch housing. When I do that, assuming weather permits, I might replace some of the wiring with 4 gauge. At some point, I'm gonna get a better controller, and a new motor. Aiming for about what you're getting right now. Fun part is they're telling us you need to be registered, etc to license it, but you can't license it to ride full out without issues. lol
The charger is a 110-240v autoswitching. I had to put the level 2 plug in afterwards. Check out my "Custom Charge System Explained" video. It will explain everything. Enjoy!
75-80km if i granny it. 60-65km if its really windy. 50km if I'm going balls out in the wind the whole way lol. Also the colder it is outside the less range it has. It likes it around 28-32 degrees outside. Hope that helps

My bike has a 3kw qsmotor. And i go about 85-90kph top speed. My motor is stamped 500w lol. Rules can be bent

Since my last post my bike now has a top speed of 120kph. And i still dont get bothered.

get an em150s. but don't cook ur motor. u can really put any controller and motor in it as long as they match kw.

Between 115 and 130kph depending on wind and hills n stuff.
It does 130 with the tire off the ground but I've been able to get it up to 120 on the street.
