It's an amazing game, I wish more people would give it a chance... Your stuff disappeared because if you are on a public server and stay logged off for 10 days it decays, it's kinda necessary or else they would be overbuilt like crazy.

Played Conan with a friend a year or two ago. Genuinely a great game, in my opinion better than Ark. wish they had polished it up a little more but was extremely happy with Conan
Yeah if they didn't delete stuff from players who didn't play for a whole month the servers would be totally littered with random half built sandstone huts
The game is a complete $#it now, everything is broken, it could be the best survival game but now... It's a paywall $#itty Chinese mobile game now.
Online servers remove bases after about 10 days inactive, it has to ensure the maps aren't covered in the obsolete bases of players who no longer play. You could play offline co-op, or log in at least once a week online to ensure your base doesn't decay.
Doesn't explain why he spawned into Black Keep and admin wipes wouldn't explain that either. I think he started in a PVP/PVEC server and someone killed him. There are times that you spawn at a dungeon start if you die.

True, me and my friends didn't know what we were doing and all just chose a Public Online Server to play on for a few weeks/months, afterwards we took a few weeks break from the game to play other games and then all decided to log back only to find all of our stuff and base gone with finding out about Decay Timers(note sometimes decay timers won't fully reset even if you log in every couple of days do reset it, use a Hammer to view the decay timer if you are playing on a server with decay enabled), I then learned about Conan Exiles Dedicated Server Launcher, where you can host your own server free of charge. It takes a bit of work to get the Launcher installed and running but it's a million times better with reduced lag and latency as well as the option of adding mods from the Steam Workshop, I just use an old gaming laptop that I have to host it while I play the game on my main PC rig, so I can maximize performance, you also get full Admin Privileges so you can disable certain features like decay and stuff as well as Creative Mode like in Minecraft, so building big exotic bases without the need to grind for materials is an option if you wanted. Months of grinding and work that we put on our base that disappeared was recovered(mostly) in a few days of playing, best thing about it is that we can not play for a few weeks or even months and still hop back on whenever we want

It's actually a really good game, one of my favourite survival games. The building system is incredibly fun, the combat is engaging and there are some good gameplay loops.
There's even an active modding community for all kinds of expanded content!

Game is a buggy mess. Which wouldn't be all that bad if the bugs didn't stomp all over the time you invested.
On PC and Xbox X/S it's great. On PS4/PS5, well the content is the same, but especially on official servers it has a lot of issues.
A part of me died inside when they killed that named bowmaker.

@@douggang7067 They can respawn. But one of the mechanics of Conan is acquire thralls that can assist you in making weapons and armor. The named variety tend to have better bonuses and are sought after. So a veteran player watching a green horn kill a named npc makes them cringe.
The world in Conan is incredible! Its one of the best sandboxes I've ever played. Starting from a village house to a fortress in the heart of the desert. Struggling to kill a monster with 1 skull to face after world bosses with your new crafted weapons and cool armor. And you don't really need to play on any server. Just enjoy the whole content of the game in a solo mode as I do. Its 10 of 10 game!

This game's actually really good. You know it takes elements of like other survival games with the building aspect. You know that the food, water gathering resources, but the fact that you can like get thralls to work on your machines and stuff like that is really cool. But more importantly, it has this Skyrim element where it gives you something that all that building you've been doing has a payoff either with the purges coming to attack your building or with you going to dungeons to kill bosses

The thrall system is why i like this game better than others. makes the base/house you build feel lived in.
I miss renting tapes from blockbuster, being clearly under 18(or well under even 13) and the cashier being like "eh... who cares, swords killing Schwarzenegger, maybe guns and an alien predator, or zombies and stuff, this kid can take it... plus I'm not paid enough to care"

This is easily the best survival game out there right now, hands down and it makes me sad to see people still bothering with Rust and Ark instead. Between the FAR cleaner menu system and combat mechanics, I cannot see how anyone could even TOUCH the other survival games while this one exists.
Definitely a good game. (after launching in an unbelievably bad condition)
Overall content is probably on par with Ark but it's a lot less messy/glitchy.
I love this game. Too bad it just goes to a blank screen on my pc (that can run it), and thus making it impossible to play. Wanted to switch from ps4 to pc, to reduce all the stutter.
@@RailedRobinif you haven’t already make sure to disable the journey steps in the settings. This makes a HUGE difference in performance on both pc and console
Ark n rust still on top
I love this game.
My wife and I got into a feud with a couple other players further down noob river. It escalated to us building a trebuchet and blasting their sandstome home. Then a high level clan bombed us down to the ground, wiping a solid week's worth of work.
Still tons of fun.
Funcom is terrible at dealing with bugs, and in game issues.
Prepared to be frustrated, but entertained by a great game.
They also dont let you run your own free servers on console like Ark does, its either pay for a private server or join one of their servers and deal with their decay timers.
thats not true. There is a Dedicated server launcher which you can set up to run on your computer OR on a home server box.@@SagaciousNihilist
This game stole 2 years of my life from me, playing on offical pvp servers when it first came out.
Conan Exiles is one of the best survival game ever for sure.
9:00 it's not an issue, it's a feature) your buildings has abandonment timer when you are offline, so on the timer ended your base will be abandoned and any player could destroy it and gain your thralls, chests, items etc. this mechanic works on online servers pve or pvp, if you wanna play with a long pauses you can play offline local game, so timer would never end, also u can play with your friend on local server and start to play on online servers when you will be ready) ps timer depends on how big your base, how many elements it has etc. the game is awesome, I'm a fan of it with more than 1.5k hours played)

I've been a long time player of Conan Exiles I started playing the game back in 2018 or 2019. With over 700+ hours, I would probably recommend it. Just play on community servers, official is disgusting.
It took you 4-5 years to get only 700 hours in the game? Those are rookie numbers my boy
I play this game regularly with friend's, while I like the game, I have a number of issues with it.
1) Map is too small, yeah, for the time it was released, it was about as big as you can make a map in UE4 (which I also use regularly) but with UE5, you can make much larger maps. Also Conan does not make full use of the size of the map, plenty of areas are blocked off, and you cannot get to them.
2) The Purge, this includes the new system just release, is a mess. I like the core of idea of the purge, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Fundamentally, the Purge was meant to be a threat that you had to constantly be aware, and guard yourself against. Which is a good idea, one that should be expanded on, now it is something you trigger on your own, and choose the time and place of the purge, however, the system does not understand how to attack a real structure, so you have to custom build a special base just for it, tweaking it until you have it set just the way you want it. Make it too big or complex, and it will fail to trigger the purge.
What is needed is a far more complex system that includes the various factions within the game, and a reputation system, combined with a trade system, so that players can have more substantial relationships with the those factions which can fall apart and lead to war that expands across the whole map. Trade routs, would give players a need to build multiple bases, and various targets for the purge to attack, so it was not an all or nothing affair, and to support all this make Thralls more independent, and not just weak auto turrets. So Thralls could be your traders, and move resources from one location to another, additionally, each base, town etc, would have upkeep, so there would be a constant need for said resources.
This leads me into PvP.
3) PvP. It has no purpose, other than to facilitate narcissism. We play on a PvP server, we play other PvP games, we like PvP, just not in Conan, because, the only reason at this point, to build a large base, is to keep thieves out. Thieves, who would be better off just farming resources on their own, because it is easier to farm and manufacture their own stuff, rather than to steal it. PvP is basically a check box feature, they have it, but have no real plan to make it worth it's while. There is nothing to win, no points awarded, no ranking system, all it does is ruin someone else's game when you wreck their base and steal their stuff. There is no advantage to it, there is no winning on the server, it is just a might makes right situation.
On our server, we were the 2nd biggest clan, and we allied with the largest simply to keep base raiding down. Last week a 2man clan decided to hit everyone's smaller outposts, and were perplexed when we trashed their main base in response, and scattered all their assets to everyone else on the server. A week before that, a three man clan appeared on the server and tried to loot our base, but we were online, and just shot them over and over again as they tried to climb our walls, they promptly quit the server, having died at least 12 times each to us taking no losses. it was funny for us, but utterly pointless, the only good thing that came out of it, was that I was able to use the event to convince my friend's to put more effort into anti-climb.
of course, that all means nothing if people just want to use explosives, or trebuchets, which is more expensive, but the safest way to attack, and again costs more than just farming resources.
If PvP had purpose, such as doing things like attacking trade routs, easy resources, but not devastate your opponents in one go, allowing players to engage on the front without having to worry about being drawn into an all out war when they have to maintain a day job, then it would make sense, be fun for everyone, still have a cost benefit analysis, and still allow for factions to go to war with whole factions, and have some really epic stuff happening in the game.
So, you play on a PvP server but you don't want anyone to attack you or your base and no one should be allowed to take the stuff that you grinded for. I'm sorry, that sounds like PvE to me. Are you sure that you enjoy PvP?
@@perceivedvelocity9914 I didn't say that no one could PvP, only that the mechanism available to them is not particularly good, the fact that the server (official) has to rely on a time based switch to enable when you can and cannot hit a base means that the system is not robust enough to rely on it self, it has to have an artificial mechanism to attempt to keep it from being completely broken.
As for letting people PvP on that specific server, we are not blocking PvP, anyone is free to PvP, they just have to understand that the two biggest clans will wipe them out if they attack people bases, the clan in question litteraly hit everyone on the server, including new players just starting out. Also if someone wanted to fight other players, they could build an Arena and have gladiatorial matches, and fight for prizes etc.
Ironically, the clan who hit everyone, before taking a week off, came back and acted indignant that they had been hit. Basically he F'd around and found out.
If a game is going to have PvP, that PvP cannot be game breaking. And with Conan Exiles, it is. Each server is going to come up with it's own culture. which is fine, on ours this is the one that built up because the game is as broken as it is.
It's a really well-made game... but people rate it negatively for its trivial and peripheral aspects. It's a very stupid standard.
The thing I've liked about Conan, is that, not only does it take a lot of fun survival ideas and used them in most of the gameplay, but it also works well with both PvP AND PvE. I used to paly rust and other games but HATED always losing progress jsut because I had to eventually log off, or do real life things like school or work. I very much like being able to play a singleplayer/co-op or even just private friends' server while still having some challenging PvE fights and things to do/explore. All the better knowing that I can log off for any amount of time and come back to find my base and supplies in one piece.
Just knowing that there is a series was an instant subscription for me. Can't wait to see what comes next.
This is the game i consider myself to have mastery over. Thousands of hours and i don't craft and play permadeath. The base game is a good survival experience. When you start capturing followers is when the game opens up to more than a survival game. You should at least capture thralls next time for the main selling point of the game!! good video!!
You mean the followers that constantly get stuck and disappear for 30 mins while they "scout" back to home? Yeah, that's a great system.

@steven11101010 pretty sure the scouting thing is a system where if you lose your thrall, they'll start a countdown to return to the original spot/your base.

conan exiles is basically valheim but instead of boats you have uh... thralls. We'll call them thralls. It's a really really good game though. It's the one that got me into survival games and now that I'm revisiting it again after 4 years (and many other survival games later) I can say with confidence that conan exiles goes toe to toe against the very best. It's wild that more people don't know about it but as you noted w/ the player stats-- those who do know about it are still playing it years after release. So much fun.

When I was a kid , I couldn't tell if it was an actor's name .... a show .... a movie , they spammed the word "CONAN" for literally everything
And now we even have a game about it...
I've watched countless "100 Players Simulate Civilization" videos, people doing it on minecraft, rust, ark and I'm so damn confused and a bit annoyed that there hasn't been a single one done for *Conan Exiles.*
It would be 200x better than any other civilization simulation video ever made. It's a more realistic version of all them combined. Has mods for specific plugins, it has fist person or third-person, survival like ark and rust without the unrealistic guns. Tameable animals, customizable maps for scenarios, weather control and Huge playable area and Honestly I have no idea why no one has made a video on it yet. The game is usually on sale making it cost as much as rust or ark and mods are FREE.
Conan exiles gave me one the best times I’ve ever had with a group of guys I met on the internet, I had so much fun and I always remember fondly all the crazy shenanigans we were up to.

Well...this video surprised me. Not a rant but a compliment to Conan Exiels! Good for you! This is the best game I have ever played! I have played many other survival games but this game has really spoiled me. I just can't put it down! It is even better when you play with your other gaming friends weather it be pvp or pve it is such a great game even with all it's faults but what game is truly perfect? Plus I am always on the look out for others to play and share in the great times! ;) Thank you for your video! LOL It was great!

Having sinked over 3000 hours of gameplay into this game I must say its one hell of a good game, but it can also be very frustrating one. I began when they released it, I still play at this private server a friend of mine is running ...
I began playing at a private server when I started, I did not really like the official servers and this game is not a game for PvE guys on a PvP server !!! but there I was ! 🙂 I remember I played on this server where 2 bigger clans used to battle out, and both sides had some great players !!! I became friends eventually with one side and the other side usually did let me go atleast some of their better PvP'ers. But the core of this game is the clan fights !!! to build your forces, raid others on the map ... I did not like raiding because I was more a builder and I knew how much time spent in building a good castle only to have it blown up shortly after hehe. Also as I for the most was a solo player it could be hard trying to defend your castle from the random clan trying to get some easy stuff, I became pretty good hiding stuff eventually, even bases.
I remember at one point I was raided twice a day, this server had a high XP so it did not take long to get back what you had lost, and I usually had double of everything so it was no problem.
Today I play at Empire's PvE server and they are a great group that run a couple of modded servers, either you want PvP or PvE and you can even experience PvP at this PvE server as they can set up areas where it is pvp... and at their PvE server they don't wipe server unless something have to be so it can be years between, and you can keep your cool building there, their modded servers are fantastic so there are some really nice mods to the game now that improve it well too...
I honestly thought the game was better in 2020 than how it is now, I loved the primitive aspect of raiding. Bases were alot harder to raid than other games in the survival genre. Also the pvp was a bit choppy but still skill to it. I absolutely fell in love with this game and sunk way too many hours into it, and like you said I made so many cool friends and had a bunch of ups and downs all throughout the experience of playing the game. I've played recently since the last updates and the additions, nerfs, and metas made the game unbearable. I wish they would've just made a new map instead of revamping the entire game. Funcom are great developers but they have a very hard time listening to their player base even though they have a forum of people who constantly tell them what they want, yet they don't listen. I miss the old days of Conan 😢
@@jordanevans4657 Yeah in many ways it was better in the beginning... sure there where glitches like when these chinese came to our server they glitched into the mountains making bases impossible to raid. Is playing on a modded server and to be honest I like alot of the mods that are there, they can pick areas to make them as PvP zones, so your castle is safe but other places can be pvp. that is one of the additions atleast.
@@arcticblue248 I play on old gen PS4, and since the isle of siptah update the game is almost unplayable, even on the exile lands. It's probably due to the performance of the console, but it's honestly just sloppy coding in my opinion. When the game first came out the PS5 wasn't even out yet. I feel like they sold out since a Chinese company bought them out, that's when they implemented the battle pass and all the other PTW bs. Before it was only cosmetic dlcs, but now you can get shit that people who don't pay for the battle pass. It was mainly cosmetic at first but now some weapons and other things deal a significant amount more damage than some of the meta weapons you can obtain in game.
I personally love this game & recommend it wholeheartedly so...to each their own.
It's a great game, just takes some effort and if you're lazy or unwilling to push your limits, you won't make it past noob river.

While we weren't happy about the battle pass, it's definitely better than on other games I played. you basically pay real life money once for the coins, unlock the battle pass and then make the money back if you play through the whole pass... And those coins you got back, fully pay the next pass.
So if you don't let yourself be tempted to spend the coins on the other cosmetics, you pay once for one pass and then can get the stuff from every future pass for free.
And playing through the pass is easy and perfectly doable in the time it lasts, cause single player and online go into the same EXP, so even if you are worried that you have like only a week left you can actually use admin console to spawn enemies and grind them for the challenges while invincible.
You get challenge bonuses each day, I would recommend only doing the challenges that get have high exp and bonus and rerolling if they aren't high and then leaving the bonus of the like low challenges to stack up to use on high challenges the next day.
My man tried killing enemies with a pickaxe and a skinning knife. This aint fortnite fam. 😅
And funcom didn't delete your house. There are decay timers on builds to prevent severs being cluttered with people who play and quit. You were gone FOR A MONTH. Your stuff decayed my man.

great game. lots of modded servers. always something new to find.
The last few months they been screwing up this great game with developers mistakes on the holidays with new features. These mistakes started before holidays and get fixed after them. In some cases making it completely messing up you 100 hours of work.
I love the games ability. It could be super lovely if it didn't really kills your mood for playing on when the developers make a mistake that might prevent you for playing for a week when the decay kicks in. Instead of the decay of about 10 days. Everything is gone. After that if you start again their belief you are gone. They will delete things a day or two you try to rebuild. That kills a mood.
Ive been playing this since it came out on steam off and on. Defeated this game 3 times. Still playing because I like the building and collecting. Plus it fun to hop on and see the changes.
Its the only survival game of its kind. Its doing something that no other survival game is doing well
Yeah, I started playing about four months ago. I can't seem to put it down and I feel like I still have barely scratched the surface of what this game has to offer. Also, that was not a glitch. Your structures have a Decay time. Pretty similar to Rust.
This is so far the best survival game I’ve played personally. I’ve played many.

It comes off as pretty damn funny to hear you praise the new player experience. If you had started a year ago, you'd be singing a very very different tune. That Journey system is a newer addition. Before that. You just got dropped in the waist lands with a general direction and a good luck kid. When I picked the game up. I found the new player experience to be easily the worst part of the the game. The addition of the Journey system was game changing for Exiles. Unfortunately it came likely a couple years too late to have any positive impact. They're not going to see a swell of new players any time soon.
Conan Exiles is a weird, janky and confusing mess sometimes. It's had a few overhauls since it's launch. This means the Wiki's are a total mess from information going out of date. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why I wasn't getting thralls to work the way I'd read about. Only to find out they hadn't worked that way for a year.
For some reason I've keep playing it though. I couldn't narrow down what the draw really is.
2018-2019 was peak conan exiles
Imagine a connan game with the quality of Hellblade, in the silkroad, with horses and eagles, and steppes.
You supposedly only have to buy the battlepass once. Supposedly working through the challenges earns you more in-game coins that you use to activate the next season's battlepass. The items you earn from the battlepass aren't game-changing but do add a lot of flair. Also, if you're on the public server, logging off leaves your character in the world. You're at risk of being killed if it's a PVP or PVE-C server and your base gets removed after a week for inactivity. Options are private servers (I've hosted one for ages) or solo-play (which can be lonely but lets you at least experience the content at your own pace).
It's true. Working through the missions of the battlepass will earn you enough in-game credits to buy the next season's battlepass, plus earn you a lot a extras. And it is simple to work though it in the time allotted.
It's just math. All you have to do is count the coins gained from the bp then look at the coin price for the bp. Not remotely complicated...
A tactic to keep in mind for the battle pass is to not spend your Crom Coins on the new pass until you have completed through Battle Pass level 58. This ensures you have the coins for the next pass before the next new chapter hits. There are some really nifty items that you can get from these passes. My favorite so far has been the specific resource storage containers.

Yeahhh, I’m not a “gamer” per say, but Conan exiles is the first survival game that I would get lost in for hours without realizing
Conan has a decay system where you base will decay if you are not online for 14 days. If you were away for a month all your stuff decayed.
Now, how you ended up in the black keep that is strange. There is a feature where if you dye in a dungeon you have an option to respawn at the start of the dungeon. However there is no way for some other player to drag you do that dungeon. I'm guessing somebody else playe your account and died in the black keep and then just quit.
It's a bug that happened to a friend of mine when he died in the dregs and tried to respawn in dungeon. How and why it happened in this case: no clue. Just seems like the game can decide to respawn you there when it feels like it
Yeah the decay system is awful for people who also do other things with their lives. It's still a fun game but not great due to this and many other little problems.

Conan himself takes back seat and has little if any relevance to the game. The game itself is one of the greatest PC games of all time, and only getting better. It is super phenomenal.
Conan with all its issues is still the best survival game I’ve played to this day. PC Mods also play a huge part in this.

The devs forgot the players who play nordic.. and raid for supplies playing viking style raiding for all supplies good for console players allows for less memory use.

This game has given me over 1000 hours of fun alone and with the boys and only seems to be improving with time and built-in workshop mod support.

I played this games yesterday with 3 friends.
I spent 1 hour and a half trying to make a server and play the game.
And when whe finally could play, one of my pals jumped from a gigantic pilar and the server just crashed. Everytime some of us dies the aerver crashed.
It is full of bugs
Having played video games from several genres over the last 11 years, I can say with confidence that my best and longest-lasting memories, as well as my greatest online friendship experiences, have come from Conan exiles. The game has definitely fallen off a lot from what it once was, but I played it from pre-beta as one of the first 100 players of the game until about a year ago when I stopped playing video games altogether due to changes in life circumstances.
The vast lore and PVE elements offer a lot to the single-player and PVE crowd, and at one time, the PVP element on dedicated PVP private servers was unbelievably fun and competitive. I never played official servers too much, as there was and likely still is an abundance of hacking and griefing, which does reflect negatively on the game as a whole and on the new player experience. But given time, friends, understanding, and a good server, this game has a certain magic that I never found anywhere else.
If you play online, be prepared to deal with bomb dupes and cheaters. It would be an amazing game if they could handle the bugs and glitches

Main *problem* is how they handle reports of *exploiters, hackers and harassers.*
If your base blocks a single NPC spawn, then it can be reported for blocking resources. Even if it is a basic NPC spawn.
Going into single player with the name of the player you want to frame. You can say racist stuff, screenshot, and claim it was them on the server you played on. They don't always check the chat logs.
It's also a problem that some hackers proudly claim they have several alternate accounts that allows them to continue to play and hack/harass.
There is also the issue of bugs reappearing, and giving advantages to those buying the DLCs. An issue of being owned by the big Ten-cent empire.
Fun(com) fact: While "Elden Ring" was praised to a level of complete stupidity, everyone overlocked that Conan Exiles did everything "Elden Ring" was praised for 5 years prior.
Another Funcom fact: Back in 2006, when Funcon officially got the rights to the Robert E.Howard assets, they promised to go easy on the lizensing and not disgrace REHs stories. Their aim was not to control the characters of the Texan writer but to keep them alive.
And they stood true to their words.

Personally I prefer to play on single player so I can activate co-op for friends. Never been a fan of PvP on any sort of game like this, too many bawbags about
This game is quite fun with a group of friends, but it can also be a miserable experience for a solo player.
I have been playing CE off and on since early Access. I can say its it a good game that had great potential. Sadly it gets dragged down by poor management. The love/hate relationship CE players have with Funcom is abusive for both sides. After that you deal with the usual survival game players. That factor can make or break a player experience as well.
I don’t like survival/crafting games, but I luv Exiles. Y’all picking up what I’m putting down?

Yeahh I get not a lot of people are gonna agree with me, especially hardcore players of the games, but I’m coming at these from a complete new player experience perspective. Im glad you enjoyed the video :)
The game is a bit buggy and the official server performance is trashy, but it's still the best mechanics in survival games

It's a decent game that had insane potential, but they hardly fixed bugs, the battle pass is meh, the bazaar is extremely expensive and a lot of times things don't fit properly or work. But they sure are happy to charge you for it.
The reddit is wrong tho, they have a decay system to avoid places being full of abandoned buildings. Your body and gear stay until someone finds you and loots your stuff. Or puts a bunch of random stuff in your inventory.
On a windy full moon night you can still hear wiz standing on stuff that should not be stood upon.
I love Conan. So glad you tried it. I play private modded pve servers. The modding community is amazing. And funcom is now working with them giving them the new dev kits before the big updates happen. Please I would love to see you play more of this game and maybe get into the games story and lore.
My suggestions for games for you to try
Heat, Subsistence, Outlaws of the Old West, Pixark, Icarus, Citadel forged with fire, Hold your Own, Myth of Empires, Craftopia, Ylands, and Novus Inceptio. Of course I own all of these 😅 some are ok some are 😢.
And one that is truly close to my heart but was abandoned is
Dark and Light. I go back to that game yearly and so desperately wish they would do anything with this game. The potential is huge. Thanks for the great content. Love your videos.

@@dumbwaystokai one more suggestion is Vintage Story. This is a game that often gets labeled as "oh it's Minecraft" it's nothing like Minecraft and you will see if you try. Actual survival game hunger, body temp and way more. True survival. It does have a steep learning curve but has in game handbook so give it a try please. Would love to know what you think about it
I use my own dedicated server, its running fine even with 66 mods installed. Because its private there are limited players and its more manageable

I have been playing this game since early access, access...and I have never gotten bored with it. Public servers only offer the bare bones of the game. Private servers, with that massive modding community behind them are excellant. With player made maps, magic, thousands of weapon mods, whole revamps of the entire game and even intimate adult content. No game offers that kind of fixability and player made content. Anyone who does not like this game simply does not play it.
Id get it if i had people to play with

I thin what messes it p is you have to be so specific to get loot, like getting T4 blacksmith thralls, doing specific dungeons, etc. If you don't do everything exactly right you are ''doing it wrong'' and you are gonna get stomped by someone who knows the ropes of the game. You have to wiki EVERYTHING you do in this game.
Dude this game is great, the hardest part is finding a good server.

i think currently besides of what you talked about the loot system now can be a bit overwhelming. Like it's so good in certain areas and you can just dismantle anything that's man made into more resources that you technically don't need to farm much to get to end game stuff and that is kind of boring to me personally. iI would like a bit of a balanced loot system and also somoe other fixes as well like combat too where npcs and thralls don't do full combo moves. But besides that some of the lore is pretty dope and sad to hear, always like a good mini-story of people's fortunes but mostly misfortunes in CE. Anyway, i think people will come to CE to find a nice pleasant experience with most of it being certain "assets" bouncing around and flailing in the wind :p

I like the game but I agree about the combat. Age of War would've been the update to improve it, but all they did was introduce a nerf to shackle everyone into a new mechanic they're undeservedly proud of. Other than that they spent all their effort on bling and MacGuffins for clan/faction conflict.
