We call resetting the lines a freaky cut 😂 and the first cut after fert is box off so fert that gets picked up with the cut goes back in plus the nutrients in the grass go back in as well
Hahah I don't mind the old freaky cut!!
Cresco was a brand name fertiliser made in WA.
Oh that's cool!
How do you like the masport? Im looking at getting my first cylinder mower and im tossing up between cox and masport
Never used a Cox but from what I know they're fairly similar machines mate!
Grass is looking good.Man it must cost a hell of a lot in fertiliser by putting that much out all the time
Haha yeah man bigger lawn bigger expenses
Is it still ok to put granular fertilisers out at this time of year in Melbourne? I heard that they don't really break down in cooler weather. Even though your not stoked with your lawn, it still looks fantastic Nick. I'd be stoked if my lawn looked as good. Yeah those weather forecast really should just be weather maybe's particularly in Melbourne. You know the saying, "If you don't like the weather, just wait ten minutes" lol 😂
What his grass needs is liquid iron to get that dark green color
granular fertilisers are fine, high in nitrogen is not what you want if you have a summer grass as it is going dormant and not taking in any of that nitrogen
@@jordanmorrissy665 That makes sense.
@@jordanmorrissy665granular sucks once you go liquid you will never go back to granular. His grass is lime green like I said with some liquid iron he will see results in days unlike granular takes weeks
@@user-wk8gg2uj8b yes but dont just think granular fertiliser is giving your lawn only growth and making it green. NPK is the baseline for most fertilizer bags, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium (k), over autumn and winter you may want to look at a fert that is lower in nitrogen and higher in phosphorus and potassium as he describes at 3:30. Liquid fertilisers are great, but this video is directed at granular.
