People saying it’s a lot of steps. This is for a an entire headlight removal. Plenty other vehicles you need to remove the bumper and clips to remove the headlight assembly.
New trucks suck .... there should be no reason you need to take apart the whole front end of a truck to change headlight bulbs. Look at trucks from the 1990's and mid 2000's everything was super easy .... 5 minute job max !
I can see the 2010 I just traded in was much easier to work on and less involved. I just got the 2022 F150 XL STX and the low and high beams are TERRIBLE. Also No fog lights. Thanks for the demo I would not have gone that route and broke something for sure. Curious is there is a wiring harness for the fog lamps behind the plastic panel you removed.

By the wheel well unscrew the two bolts closes to the ground, slide your hand in and Un clip the harness and turn the fog lights counter clock wise to unlock and pull out. Insert new ones, clock wise to lock, re connect the harness, put the two bolts back. Done. Should be a quick 10 min job.
So pretty much the same process as the 14th Gen. annoying. I guess ford ignored everyone that said it was stupid how u gotta do all that work just to get the headlights out
I feel like the engineers were like how do we make this as dumb as possible. I know well make then dismantle their whole front end just to get to the bulbs! That way in winter they'll just being it to the shop that's how's well make monies. SMH. My 13 was 3 screws pop and bam.

Yeah, but compared to older F150's, it's a big difference. 2009-2014 F150's just require three screws per headlight and they pop right out.

It was a lot easier back in the old days, hopefully one day we'll see it return to being so easy.
You don't need to take the whole front of the truck apart to change the bulbs. Access is behind the headlight through the inner fender.

05 silverado. Pop hood pull pin remove all lights install in reverse. Done

OMG... I lost count of the number of screws to be removed. My 2009 F150 has like... three per headlight. SMH
So you have to remove 37 fasteners and 8 harnesses to remove 2 headlights. Thanks Ford.

Bro literally reach your hand up in the back. Pull boot off back. Take out the old bulb. Install new. Already done it. It works
