Considering the amount of damage that could have resulted from falling off the trailer,it was fairly light and easily fixable. Great buy and definitely video the repairs.
Man oh man. That tip over could have been a lot worse. Great job on getting it back on the trailer! And yes, some video on repairs would be great. Thank you Dustin and God bless!
My heart was in my throat as the camper came back down on to the trailer, praise the Lord it did not bounce off the other side. Biggest rush I have had watching a youtube vid in many a year, thankyou brother.
Yes, the repair videos would be interesting to watch... It's always an adventure working by yourself.... Good job getting it back upright without even more damage...
your one hell of a guy keep up the good work and hell yeah congrats on the awesome new camper thats gonna be one hell of an awesome resale it can really go good towards your camper and brewing business this new motorhome you speak of is exciting i wonder what you got
Wow you where unlucky but also very lucky that you where not under it and hardly any damage done to the side. Love your vids watching here in EASTYORKSHIRE England.
You also do not have the weight of the stove and fridge inside. Maybe putting in some weights or heavy jugs of water or even the tools to weight it all down would have helped.
This is the first video of yous I've seen, thank you algorithm for the suggestion, I'm now subscribed! I would like to see a rebuild video on this unit, or at least a finished video.
You got lucky on the purchase price, the jacks being included AND the minimal damage from tipping the camper over. I hope you'll show us the repair process. PLEASE show us the ratchet strap trick your wife showed you. I have been using zip ties to secure the loose ends.
You are a lucky man, what an oh crap moment, that could have been bad. I was going to deal on a F 350 2012 with 40 k diesel for $35k flatbed until I heard a loading story of how a camper slipped off the side of a similar one and was sold for scrap for $100.00 OUCH!
Can hardly wait for the Wild motor-home video, that's what got me hooked on your channel in the first place, although the beer factory pick-up was pretty wild too.
You got a good score. Thats awesome. Glad you won that bid. Sucks theyre so light n front heavy otherwise that turn would a been better. But who would a rmthought that could ever happen. This is why id like to build my own. But i like them light n i like a longer bed. Simple accident i would tied down after i got thru the gates too. Who would a ever thought they tip that easy. I read about them all the time. But i never would a thought. It happens at least its all cosmetic damage. My rv has some too from a tree. From previous owners but it doesnt leak or anything it just looks bad if you notice it. Tookna corner once too fast on a side rd n hit some small dandy gravel where someone else must a hit n almost wiped the 30 ftr out. Scared me iw wasn't going that fast but the tires i dont like. I pumped rhe breaks n stopped it. But i felt her lean she could a rolled. She is also top heavy but very light in the top of that makes sence n can roll easy. When its windy i prefer not to drove her all that fast or far. But shes still alive n kickin. Im about to redo her this spring. Weird part is all my heay stiff is on the one side. Fridge water sewer. Its strange. Ya think they would a thought of that. I think all the 89s n older were built like that and built very thin walls. Now im looking for a camper. The price of that one is awesome id never buy one unless i found one that cheap but i will builf my own. Shes beauty. Huge bed on her looks lie a king bed ❤ Glad you made it home. Hope it easnt too windy on the way home. Best flip ever ❤
yes want to see the repairs and what about microwave/air Friar combination unit? 24v with 600 or 800ah electrical system? Induction cooktop? Gasoline/diesel heater? 12v refrigerator? Increasing solar panels and solar charge controller? Maximize rooftop solar panels and enough for some portable panels? Essentially eliminating the need for propane if possible? Election water heater? Truck charging with DC to DC module? Thanks and have a great day
If you keep buying these long term you need to build a couple of long gantry beams you can put under the campers to jack them up and back the trailer underneath.
I wanted to comment on the Shadow Cruiser, you have on your pickup. I had three of them, 2 truck mounts and one fifth wheel. I loved those units, they were absolutely great. And like everything, that is made great, they sell out to another company, and either it turns into junk, or just plain disappears.
Just subscribed, and i know everyone wants to give their opinion and share their ideas. There is one thing you must do, and it is not an opinion or optional, and that is .....do not work alone. Find you a trustworthy buddy to tag alone. If something happens to you, that would be catastrophic if you are by yourself.
I'm not a huge 'truck camper' fan but, I will say, good on Palomino(Forest River, isn't it?)... even while still laying on its side, sort of, I couldn't see any twist to the frame/structure. The interior/jack damage, can't be laid on them(that's all you. lol). That said.. open gate.. no one around.. locking up without verifying no one was in the compound.. letting folks maybe get injured with no supervision/assistance, etc, etc. ANYONE could have driven in, loaded up, and stolen your camper, or any other unit present. They are simply LUCKY, that you weren't injured.
You need a tilt deck trailer, that way the camper could have stayed level and the deck can come slowly down as the camper is winched on. The front end of the camper was too high causing it to be unstable as you were winching it on. Got lucky there wasn't any more damage.
It looks like your at Copart? I'm surprise someone from Copart wasn't with you when you were loading out I'm happy you didn't get hurt and the camper didn't suffer much damage
I think after this experience if I was going to buy these campers I would just get a truck and just keep a truck bed cleared out to hold them in a truck bed like they're supposed to be or find a little nice trailer that fits perfectly under these that you could just back under and set it down on I would consider that if you're making a little bit of money off of them and it's working out so that way if you're going to keep doing this you have a way to easily get them
Just curious how that’s works? So the yard or the auction house let you load on your own purchase? Do they offer for a fee fork lift, yard pay loader, sky lift?
Well that was a pain in the arse, hopefully an easy fix and you can still flip it for a good profit. Weld and hammer the hell out of the funder it wont look any worse than the other side lol. Oh yes repair videos for the win !
Definitely would like to see the repairs in videos.
just posted the repair video
I pull an 80 ton rig. Been doing it 34 yrs. Gotta say. Nothing has ever just slipped off a trailer.
I would like to see the repairs. Dodged a bullet on this one, Thanks for letting us come along.
Could have been worse, i will take my time next time
My heart was in my throat as the camper came back down on to the trailer, praise the Lord it did not bounce off the other side. Biggest rush I have had watching a youtube vid in many a year, thankyou brother.
I think the strap catching the fender on the other side slowed it down
Gotta love a place that doesn't help and then locks you in. I love your videos, hope to see more.
one man army! thanks
Yes, definitely like to watch repairs to see how things are done. Great job on getting that thing back on the trailer safely good content thanks.
Thanks 👍
I was just thinking I would like to see the repair video and then you asked . So yes please 👍
I like how you keep things simple. Make us some more videos.
You got it! just uploaded the repair video
You did well getting this back on there. Great buy!
Yes! Thank you!
Yes, the repair videos would be interesting to watch... It's always an adventure working by yourself.... Good job getting it back upright without even more damage...
Good thing their were no appliances. Much less stuff to break and made it lighter to upright. All and all great save.
indeed!
Thanks for being brave and showing your mistake, this is contrary to what social media has rewarded but we're all human and need to be reminded.
i figured id get roasted for what happened....
Soon as the music hit and the video of you loading it started, I had a "Oh this isn't gonna end well" feeling
and it didnt haha, i guess its okay i made it home
You’re amazing to get it back on that trailer by yourself.
You got super lucky. Also would love to see the repairs
I look forward to seeing that camper restored! 😎
👍👍
Please take us along on the repairs and the how To's. Thanks!
will do, just posted the first repair video
I wrap my straps the same way, works great and never had a failure since I switched
Yes we would love to see all of it
Great recovery on your mishap.
thanks!
Functionable? Learned a new word today.
your one hell of a guy keep up the good work and hell yeah congrats on the awesome new camper thats gonna be one hell of an awesome resale it can really go good towards your camper and brewing business this new motorhome you speak of is exciting i wonder what you got
thank you!
bummer but you saved it! Yes please follow up with it's repairs
Definitely video the repairs. You did a great MacGyver job getting the camper back on the trailer. 👍🤣
Thanks 👍
Love those old MH’S you have sitting around‼️
me too!
Wow you where unlucky but also very lucky that you where not under it and hardly any damage done to the side.
Love your vids watching here in EASTYORKSHIRE England.
very lucky! thank you
Yes have a wonderful weekend!
You might want to build sides on the trailer that the campers would slide on as you pull it on the trailer
Bro. That'll buff right out. Nice buy.
I think so too hahah!
Please show repairs. It’s so interesting. Also show final product. Thank you 😊
Will do!
when it's on its side is a good time to work on the roof! :-0
You sure are Lucky! You may need to stop and buy you a lottery ticket! My Goodness, this also says a lot about Palomino campers! Well this one anyway!
Looking forward to many more videos. Always liked your videos!
Thanks!

you can hire a company with insurance to move cars and trucks but these things people wont touch... so its up to me
Shit happens brother.. nobody is hurt and you handled it. Great job and god bless my friend
agreed and thanks
Wow dude ! u were so lucky no one got hurt when that tipped over !! And no broken windows ??
Can hardly wait for the Wild motor-home video, that's what got me hooked on your channel in the first place, although the beer factory pick-up was pretty wild too.
will be out soon
This is why I carry a 12# sledgehammer when I have my dumping trailer hooked up 😂
be glad the fridge was not in it or it wld have really damaged the port side of the unit. Those fridges are barely fastened in the hole.
true they always come out on rollovers

yeah light weight is good as long as all the weight loss isn't at the bottom haha, im sure all the missing appliance didn't help
Keep up the great work!
Thanks, will do!

yeah adding solar and a 200 ah lithium battery now, maybe we can add some more off grid ability to it
If you keep buying these long term you need to build a couple of long gantry beams you can put under the campers to jack them up and back the trailer underneath.
good idea
Yes, show the repairs and finished camper with asking price.
That strap catching the fender probably slowed the tipover considerably, actually worked out.
thats true, i can afford to replace the strap haha
🫣🫣🫣🤭🤭🤔 nice job nice camper yes, it would be good to see the build. Stay safe see you in the next one.👍🇬🇧
I wanted to comment on the Shadow Cruiser, you have on your pickup. I had three of them, 2 truck mounts and one fifth wheel. I loved those units, they were absolutely great. And like everything, that is made great, they sell out to another company, and either it turns into junk, or just plain disappears.
my favorite camper so far!
Just subscribed, and i know everyone wants to give their opinion and share their ideas. There is one thing you must do, and it is not an opinion or optional, and that is .....do not work alone. Find you a trustworthy buddy to tag alone. If something happens to you, that would be catastrophic if you are by yourself.
you are right! I have had people come with before but none was available this day
Thank your lucky stars! Great job as always!
Show us the repair jobs please. That is why I am a member in the first place.
just posted the first repair video
If only Larry and Moe had shown up, you would've been all set
hahah yep
I am probably interested in a road trip from Shreveport Louisiana to come buy that camper of the price is not too high. I am serious!!!!!!!!
I'm not a huge 'truck camper' fan but, I will say, good on Palomino(Forest River, isn't it?)... even while still laying on its side, sort of, I couldn't see any twist to the frame/structure. The interior/jack damage, can't be laid on them(that's all you. lol).

ANYONE could have driven in, loaded up, and stolen your camper, or any other unit present.
They are simply LUCKY, that you weren't injured.
yeah it's the wild west back there. could use at least one person full time in that lot
Well done sir!
You need a tilt deck trailer, that way the camper could have stayed level and the deck can come slowly down as the camper is winched on. The front end of the camper was too high causing it to be unstable as you were winching it on. Got lucky there wasn't any more damage.
yeah been looking for one
Definitely would want to see the repair video
Please record the repair process for a video! Now I know how to winterize an RV! Take Care
just uploaded the first repair video
Outstanding. May God richly bless...
Loved it!!
thanks!
Cover it with a sticker, Mr Haney at his finest LOL... Show the repairs too plz, good content.
One good thing about it you got a $3,000 camper now
hahaha
I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole after falling the roof may not show hardly any damage. All campers are made cheap. It will leak!
I'm not sure how a rubber sheet would leak after falling over
I’m glad that nobody got hurt
me too!
WHOA WHOA Wait a sec. What's up with the Lincoln Continental in the background there????
picked it up from someone in Iowa video soon
It looks like your at Copart?
I'm surprise someone from Copart wasn't with you when you were loading out
I'm happy you didn't get hurt and the camper didn't suffer much damage
me too
Like to see repair. Tks for sharing
Yeah, show the repairs, Dustin! I tell ya, man, that could have gone much worse. Great to have help, right?
yeah i will bring a friend next time lol
I'm wondering if your tanks were still full of water? That's why it was so heavy on that side
maybe i know the roof is heavy with the ac up there
I think after this experience if I was going to buy these campers I would just get a truck and just keep a truck bed cleared out to hold them in a truck bed like they're supposed to be or find a little nice trailer that fits perfectly under these that you could just back under and set it down on I would consider that if you're making a little bit of money off of them and it's working out so that way if you're going to keep doing this you have a way to easily get them
looking at a tilt bed trailer
Should have put some straps on it to protect it from tipping over
Just curious how that’s works?
So the yard or the auction house let you load on your own purchase? Do they offer for a fee fork lift, yard pay loader, sky lift?
this yard never has help on these "heavy loads" just cars and trucks
Why not install jacks put on a pick up truck earlier.
had a camper on the truck, and that one is hard to remove
Lucky. There was no one standing there mate
Not trying to be unempathetic about what happened, but it couldn’t have happened in a better place. Just image if it let loose on the freeway 😮
This is going to be an interesting, ReVival.
Yes show the repairs
It might help to use two 4x4s the same length
yes and much longer
I remember my first time loading something.
hahahah
God bless you as well
Well that was a pain in the arse, hopefully an easy fix and you can still flip it for a good profit. Weld and hammer the hell out of the funder it wont look any worse than the other side lol. Oh yes repair videos for the win !
she will buff right out!
What will you sell it for thats exactly what im lookin for
depends on all the repairs , maybe 16k
You need to check its still square 😮
i did now, it's still fine!
Sometimes it’s worth the money to pay for the pros, cheaper in the long run
tried that route, nobody would do it
New sub here , I’m looking for a tear drop ,just curious if you know of any good resources to buy
marketplace and expand the search to 500 miles should get some good results
You dodged a big bullet!
Still can’t believe that you get no help yet they will lock the gate without making sure no one is inside.
yeah me too
What damage.. Please its little scratch.. Goo👌oood buy.. Thanks bro.. 🙏
i think so too
How and were did you find this?
hard work of scouring salvage auction sites, then just low bid until you get something
+1 for the repair video please 🙂
Ahhh, truck for truck camper maybe?
Can I please see the next part
oh well...sh1t happens
yup
Let me know what you want for it. I’m in the market for a truck bed camper
might be around 16k after repairs most are selling for 20k
Would like repair videos
Yes
