Not sure how in the hell I missed this video when it got posted, but I’m glad I’ve seen it now. The contrast between the black crew cab exterior and the surprisingly in great shape for a work truck yellow interior is really cool. Love these old trucks!
Yeah Brother, Glad to see 'Ole Ehthel' is part of the photo op and informational updates. We thank God for you that you're young and healthy so you can keep us informed and giving us older guys a boost to get going on our stuff! thanks again brother!
Your new "Old Baby Blue" looks like a fairly uncomplicated revival. However that crew cab needs lots of time, major parts and effort. Overall more than half of your Highboys are runners or close to. Congrats on saving old iron that can still haul loads!
Absolutely delicious! We have a 69 F350, 70 F250, 71 F250, and a 72 F100. All of them except the 71 are running at the moment and still used as workhorses.
Pretty cool collection. It’s a rare sight to see a real high boy where I live. Also the doors on the dent side trucks close just as nice. That’s just a Ford thing lol.
I think you have a lot of ladies. Thank you for the tour. Hopefully you get some time to start working on them. Always enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing. Always look forward to what happens in the next one.
My absolute favorite trucks ever. I might be a little biased as that's what I first began driving in. My dad would let us sit on his lap and steer while out offroading getting wood.
been a ford man for over 41 years now watching from Australia and have lots of Aussie fords,,,, old fords never die just go faster. Never been left stranded in all them years ..Chevrolets,,,dodges not even on the same page
@@jamesthompson8008 Yep, Alaska Railroad. They have traditionally had yellow service trucks. Today they are a bright yellow, but back in the day they had a paler yellow even, like this truck seems to have been. Now they also have a lot of white trucks too, moving away from tradition.
@@spamanator666 Thanks! That's actually good to know, as the scrap rate in Alaska is very different from the lower 48. There's a good chance that MAYBE some of them still exist in wrecking yards up there. Might be worth a 'network' search.
@T.LELEGM.BackyardAlaskan LOL! Yeah, let me just send you my bank information, date of birth, password, SSN, address, phone number, full name. Anything else you need?
* OMG ! You cruel bastard Austin ! To show us subscribers a line up like that so early in the morning is just cruel ! We're all sitting here watching this with our jaw dragging on the floor ! Lol ! 👊😎👍
You have quite the collection going. My first Truck was a 97 PSD that was out of Alaska, at the time it was super clean for a truck in Maine.I still have it. Anyway nice trucks, I'm enjoying watching through your videos. Keep it up!
Just give em rims and tires is all they need and a exhaust system. Love these with a big V8 Fricken 460 big block ohhhh yeah man. And I’m a dodge guy second a ford guy
I'm not a Ford Guy. But these Years are the Best trucks Ford ever made. The only way they could of been better. Is if they would of had the 7.3 back then. That would of made these a BEAST. .The 4 door would be a great build for you to Put a 7.3 in that old Girl... If I had the land I would have a Bunch of old Squarebodys. And No doubt one of these old fords in my collection...LoL...😂😂😂Great little Video of them ..
If anyone in my demented mind qualifies for a gymnasium sized building just for your ford collection.. its you. I have heard someone say your first name but so far never again ... memory serves, your trucker friend down towards Seward ak... mentioned it when ya picked up a G.I. rig and then got it going again if my seventy three year old dementia brain serves me at all.... any more its names on my clothes to just remember my own name, not a joke either!! Knowing you through the videos you've put out makes me wish that you and I could of met when ever I lost my garage/home in twenty ten. I got crippled up seriously bad in twenty O five so with a crushed spine and other not so looked forwards to having happen... I am slowly coming closer to dirt worm materials. I had several fords and have been a ford kid since the late fifties. I kind of drool when I see the little sprint setting there.. probably got the name wrong but names are not my strong suit as I have mentioned now. Rather than see the bank get my "JUNK" to some people, gave my running and driving rigs to a grandson whom I thought would appreciate it along with my large tool collection gathered over fifty years of wrenching time. Not having insurance is a da** stupid thing as I look back so having only some G I insurance, got some surgeries done but its the no money coming in to pay off bills. I did get most of my stuff all paid off as I wasn't sticking it to the people who trusted me for having a account with. I had the second account started with the commercial desk at O'reilly's and even got them paid off although I had to do that out of my ssi checks. Too good of credit and never ever considering ever to get hurt was a big stupid idiot thing. I am almost sure that if you had accepted my old fords that you might of taken the wreckers I had. One was a one ton four wheel drive factory built 72 chevy K3500 and the other was a slide back 75 international... I am trying but just can't pull the name/numbers on this one. It was a diesel in its start in life... had so many problems with that idi engine that I swapped a 5.9 cummins in it. Five speed and two speed rear end. It was my pride and joy so was in perfect shape,, tilt hood and all. I kept losing my brake cylinders on the back axle. I had different drivers on it, the last one had drove it home with the rear brakes hung up.... just because the micro switch under the cab and on the frame near where the drivers door was. It was built for the navy and so color was of course GRAY.... a bad shade of it as well. There wasn't even a pin hole of rust in it nor any dents. That big fire that happened north of me here in wasilla caught the rig in my grandsons yard... he drove his car out of this fire and left the truck.... idiot could of loaded the car on its back and drove it out. What can I say or do as I found out he had sold that large tool collection for cocaine. Its a fact also as I do have solid proof of it and he no longer comes to visit his grand pa. I could of got over his bull stuff but his not coming over to see me after he knew I had found out about all of it... hell, metal ain't nothing but a thing... its the family thing... I loved him faults and all.... I ain't no angel either. Well, I have ruined my comment by whining so shall say.. always enjoy your videos
Thank you for the collection tour!! My first truck was a 67 F100, so these have a fond place in my heart as well. Love the highboys, & the crew cab, tho that 67 half ton is an eye catcher(to me anyway). Maybe put a lean to on one side of the shop for it? Thanks again, man - great stuff!
Nice collection you have. I have a 72 f100 4x4 I’m in the process of restoring. I’d prefer to have it as a daily driver rather than ever buying another new pickup.
No '68? My dad had a '68 Ford pickup, 8' bed, 3spd on the column he moved to the floor, and sadly he junked it before I ever got the chance to drive it. He kept it parked in the backyard and would use it to haul logs and stuff. He would wear a coat and tie to his IT job by day and weekends he'd be a farmer 😊
I am so curious to see inside the motor and drive train on the new truck. You said it had been caught by the tide and I really want to see if that FE is salvageable. The drive train will likely be managed by a flush and new fluids, but I would really like to see that engine be rebuildable...but I'm not getting my hopes up :-)
That opening shot is like walking into a bar with a line of 50 year old women....they've lived a tough life and may leak and creak a little....but still ready to go 😂😂😂
After getting some feedback from a fellow viewer, is it worth trying to use the 'network' as it were to locate some of those old crewcabs in other salvage/wrecking yards in Alaska? Based off the fact the scrapping rate is very different up there, I'd think it's possible to locate some other for potential parts sourcing(bed?). Just a thought
I had a 1970 crew cab short box 2wd that I bought from the original owner son it was garage kept and was pretty clean but I sold it recently cause I was tire of it sitting and wanted to focus on other projects , also cause i was offered crazy money but I should've kept it 😢.
Love the collection. I like that lift on the crew cab. Personally it looks bad ass. Maybe put larger bias ply on it. Drop a 460 V-8 in it. That black bed would be a good donor to the crew cab.
I’m personally a dent side fan but every Ford holds a place in my heart
I like dent side also .
Woah! Factory 4x4 crew cab!? That's a really rare truck. Can't wait for more videos on that truck!
@T.LELEGM.BackyardAlaskan get lost scammer
@backyardAlaskan. No! Get bent scammer!
Think I like the green one best, just to see it still being used is so cool.
Now THAT is an All-Star lineup if there ever was one. Stout and sturdy, ready for any duty. Bump-sides for LIFE!!!

Green one reminds me of slave lake. Keeps taking it any way it'll get it .
I have fords from 1970-1996 I like them
Fords alwas had the best shutting doors fact!
I’ve always said you can tell the quality of a vehicle by the way the doors close.
Been bugging my Uncle in law for his ole 70/71 3/4 ton, everytime I watch your videos I just keep hoping, " one day...one day he'll give er up " 🤞😞
Wow ive been missing for a WHILE, but I am back! It is nice to see this video with majestic Fords like this!! I love it. Thank you for this video.

AWESOME CLLECTION YOUNG FELLA I HAD A 71 THREE ON THE TREE LOVED THAT TRUCK
Love your old Fords !!! Keep on with your collection!!👍👍
Definitely brightened my day.
I agree the 67-72 bumpside Ford's and the 73-80 roundeye squarebody Chevy are 2 of the best trucks ever made!!!😎👍
Hell yeah I love my 72 camper special only got 58k miles it’s flippin mint.
It looks like you have a bit more room for some more Ford's😅 good videos😊

1970 is my favorite grille but i like the 67 door handles and no marker lights
Can't help but laugh at the "Prius" commercial that came on before your video played 🤣

Such a cool sound shutting the doors on a bumpside

Nice collection of Fords there bud .........even in pieces or rust still Ford tough
Beautiful trucks bump sides are probably one of the best looking trucks period

That's a great line up. The red 71 has my heart
Very cool collection - I grew up with the bump sides & owned a couple
So awesome man ! Gotta save em all we can! Cheers from Alberta Canada brother !
I love all the trucks
I like them like they are. Just keep saving them. Well maybe some body replacement parts on the green one. 😊
I remember the cold start vid on the second one in.
You need to pull up that old Charles Bronson movie Mr Majestic 1974. Some great Ford truck action. No special affects back then.
impressive & never ending classic FORD truck collection - mate !
The red & white '67 is sweet...just needs a crown Vic front end and a modern drivetrain...like a Coyote. Nice collection Bro. 😁💯❤️💥💥💥
You could set the goal for the crew cab restoration to be the 100k subscription spectacular series.
That is my absolute favorite generation of Ford trucks. Just like the square body is my favorite Chevy /GMC😮
Such a rad Crew Cab. Thanks for sharing! Love your collection.
Thanks for the video Had a 1975 Highboy for years best Dammed truck I ever owned.
