RedRoseSeptember22 Ok...I guess the people I’ve seen dying from it (true CORONA deaths, not someone getting shot or having a heart attack and happening to test positive for it cause that doesn’t count). Maybe you think watching people die basically from asphyxiation is a hoax, but it’s not. However, feel free to think what you want. It’s still barely America. I don’t happen to have a problem with people living their lives (because it doesn’t effect 99.2% of the country enough to even have to get admitted to the hospital for it). If you’re scared or compromised, stay home. Let other people get their lives/livelihoods back if they still can. However, I said what I said and it’s true: unless those people all lived with her before March, she’s not quarantining.🤷🏻♀️ Now I will STFU. 😘

I’ve made banana bread several, times during this quarantine-one of my favorite comfort foods. I mash my bananas in the peel also! So enjoying your videos Paula! 😀
We warm our banana bread and then put on Butter Pecan Ice Cream. My recipe calls for Pecans. Freeze those old bananas in the peel. Take out and thaw a few minutes and then squash them by hand. Easy to do this bread. ✌🏻❤
Miss Paula, I prefer these videos MORE than the network shows. There is no skipping out on the 'How to' part on your TH-cam channel. I love how on here you get to show the not so easy skills of getting the batter into the pan, the spraying of the pan down. After making shows for so long it's easy to forget some of out here are still learning the basics. So keep up the TH-cam it's more helpful than a fast paced cooking show on some fancy network with too many commercials.
When you asked who wants I piece, I actually said “YES!” out loud. Lol. And you betcha that I always add chocolate chips when I make banana bread! Thanks for posting!!!
I have always enjoyed watching you and miss your shows Paula. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to see you again here on TH-cam! It feels like a family reunion! Hoping it continues, I've loved each and every single one you've done so far and can't wait for more! Bless your heart for thinking of all of us in this time of quarantine... Hugs honey!
Ms. Paula I just have to say thank you. I eat plant based and although I am not able to enjoy many of your recipes personally I have watched you from the beginning. You are so calming and grounding. I just appreciate you so much. My husband who was captain of a ship in Savannah met you and your husband several times many years ago and tells me you are as genuine and gracious in person as you are on television. Thank you for being you. Much love💛

I used to watched Paula on TV all the time. I was brought up in Louisiana, but now live in Central Florida. Each time I watch Paula, it relaxes me of having the Southern comfort feeling of being home with the family. This only happens when someone with a true personality able to shine through. I am so glad I have found you on TH-cam. Love you, Paula! ❤️
Love watching and trying some of the recipes. Feel like I’m in the kitchen with you only sad I don’t get a sample. Thank you Paula for doing this I have so enjoyed it. Hope you will continue after quarantine , love the casual feel of Just hanging out in your kitchen. God bless
I like to put sour cream and dried cranberries in my banana nut bread and then we like to cut a good slice that will hold up in a toaster and toast it and get it a little crispy on the outside edges and then butter it! It just makes it so decadent. It's like you're really having a serious desert instead of just a slice of bread. You can also make a very simple glaze after it has cooled out of the oven by mixing powdered sugar a little butter a little vanilla and a small amount of milk just enough to make it a glazed it's not too thin and pour it over the top of the whole loaf or bunt pan of bread then let it sit for a good 20 minutes or so (if you do not plan on poppin it down in the toaster or toaster oven.) Yum!
I was wanting to make banana bread! Glad this was today's recipe! I'm just loving these daily uploads. I think all of our dogs are gonna be in for a shock when life gets back to normal.
I'm surprised Theresa didn't see the glasses at the edge of the counter. Poor Paula, you are not alone. I too am constantly asking myself where things are...like my glasses, the remote, the pill I almost took but couldn't find the bottle of water I had a minute ago...etc.
Mmmm love me some nana bread. I take the bananas from the freezer, and put in a micro safe bowl to thaw on 30% power for 2-3 mins until juice is released. Remove bananas leave juice behind, and put in small sauce pan over med low until reduced by half. The concentrated juice really ups the flavor of the bread. Going to make some today.
If I had that kitchen I would set up a bed in the corner and never leave it. We southern girls love to cook and stuff our friends and family. Stay safe and best dishes.
I make this bread all the time, but love watching Paula make it!! Paula doesn't see her glasses on the counter, cause she couldn't see, LOL LOL She set her bowls right in front of them, lol. LOve this lady.😍❤
Awesome! These daily videos make my day! Looks so good. I wish bananas didn't turn brown so quick though as I have them about daily...The cameraman seems nice and polite, and knows his "place." :) Glad the interaction with Theresa is more toned down and she's not telling Paula what to do. ;)
Love bananna bread..If you have a recipe for gingerbread would you please share..My mom use to make it a lot when i was younger.. In a long bread pan it was so good.
I make banana split bread. Add mini chocolate chips, drained crushed pineapple, and maraschino cherries to the batter. Serve with a scoop of icecream and drizzle with chocolate sauce and add some whipped cream on top and top with another maraschino cherry.
I really enjoy these "covid-19" cooking videos. They feel so comfy and personal. THANK YOU PAULA and to your gang with you. I really am enjoying this time cooking with you. Be well ❤🙏💐
Though I bet the flavor would be delicious, I think it'd be very very difficult to make french toast out of banana bread because banana bread is extremely moist. French toast has to start with dry bread to absorb the custard and then still hold up or you'll just end up with french goop.
I havemade french toast with my banana recipe and it's almost identical to Paula eccept it didn't include the raisins, I'm sure those would add more flavors. I'm definitely make it this weekend.
A local restaurant we eat at serves French toast made from banana bread and it is delicious but heavy. I prefer regular French toast because I can eat more of it before feeling full!
I cook as well when I am bored . But the problem is there is only 2 of us . And I cook like I have a crowd . That’s not good . If I don’t get out and start working in the yard .,They will remove me with a crane. Already made banana bread .,And it smells really good and fills the house with home meals
That looks so good Paula. Im so glad to see you on you tube. Love you Paula and my husband says Teresa is one lucky dog to be getting leftovers from Paula Dean lol .
I made this recipe with a few minor adjustments. I used walnuts rather then pecans, chocolate chips rather then raisins, and sour cream rather then Greek yogurt. You talking about something so damn good, it’ll know your socks off?! Well this is it!

Perfect timing for this recipe! I have bananas turning brown on my counter. Gotta make this bread!
Won’t you be my neighbour. Love the natural way you present your recipes.🤓
Paula...bless your heart! I watched your video on the banana bread & you said to squeeze the banana in the peel, so when I made my guacamole dip the other day I gently squeezed & rolled my avocado on the counter and then cut it in half & scooped it out and it was sooooo easy to mix with the other ingredients! Just thought I’d share how your tip gave me an idea & it worked! God bless you!
"...what's left in the bowl is a whole cookie!"
I love you, Miss Paula! I'm so glad to to be able to still watch your videos on TH-cam. There is nobody like you, my dear! 💕
Love your recipes, could you please do your Pineapple upside-down biscuits Miss Paula
Sitting here eating corn casserole warm with a drizzle of honey with my mornin coffee watching y'all make this banana bread. I have a whole bag of bananas frozen in their skins that I suspect will end up on a plate later today!
Thank y'all for sharin and please take care and be safe...
Thank you, Miss Paula! Stay safe.
When I find over-ripe bananas at the store I buy them and mash them and put them in the freezer. They are perfect when I am ready to bake bread.
"Where are my glasses?" ---- cannot stop staring at her glasses at the end of the counter top lol!
Oh my goodness! Our dog is now barking at dust! We've renamed him 'Officer McBark'!
haha.. i was cracking up and saying.. at the end of the counter!! So something I would do!
LOL were we all saying...there over there at the edge of the counter by the towel?
Dana Peshka I can’t see her glasses at the end of counter I don’t have mine on lol I didn’t notice . Thought that was funny .
It’s so great that your doing these quarantine video’s! Feels like being in the kitchen with you...thank you Paula, family and friend!
I was hooked till you put those darn raisins in the bowl. Looks great!!
Dathan me too! 🤢🤢🤢
You can exchange them for chocolate chips or just leave them out. It's probably just as good!
Mrs. Paula Deen, I just wanted to say thank you for everything! I just love you and your shows. I'm starting my own youtube cooking show...LOL at the age of 44! Lord, help me! Anyway, I am inspired by your story and all you have accomplished! I appreciate all that you are doing to help during this challenging time. Of all the people in the world I'd love to sit and have a glass of tea with or just chitchat with, is you! Well that may never happen but I get to have the blessing of watching you here. Again, thanks and God bless!
I don’t care man, nobody’s a saint, this woman deserves to be forgiven. I miss her presence on TV.
Should have never happened..DemonRats cause chaos and love it for their sneaky slippery agenda and we the people that pay them to serve us ? Enough is enough traitors everyone of them..
I agree!
I would really love some southern fried chicken the way the southern people make! Is it possible for you to do that? And maybe the things that go with it?
I’ve made banana bread several, times during this quarantine-one of my favorite comfort foods. I mash my bananas in the peel also! So enjoying your videos Paula! 😀
I mash my bananas with a potato masher.
Deborah Spivey I've never seen anyone do that until thus very moment. Learn something new every day.
Me too!
We warm our banana bread and then put on Butter Pecan Ice Cream. My recipe calls for Pecans. Freeze those old bananas in the peel. Take out and thaw a few minutes and then squash them by hand. Easy to do this bread. ✌🏻❤
Love your giggle. Southern women learn at an early age how to giggle cute. It's part of our charm.
I'll be making this in the morning with my second cup of coffee🍞☕️
Will someone please hand Paula her glasses? They’re sitting to her left at the end of the counter! 🧐
THANK'S MS PAULA AS ALWAY'S ENJOYED WATCHING YOU...YAL HAVE BLESSED DAY & STAY SAFE EVERYBODY.....
You are the best cook and the most friendly person. And you put on a whole show in 1 take and without a crew. ❤️
I love this format. I think its better than the overly produced tv show!
Miss Paula your laugh makes my day everytime I hear it!!! Love you to pieces❤
Thank you for these videos they are the bright spot in my day.
Love these videos Paula!! I have missed seeing you! Theresa.. speak up love,,, ignore the negative comments dear! Love y'all
As a Southern girl living in Europe...these videos are like therapy to me! Thank you Paula!
When you asked who wants I piece, I actually said “YES!” out loud. Lol. And you betcha that I always add chocolate chips when I make banana bread! Thanks for posting!!!
My grandpa is currently fighting for his life due to covid. Your videos help bring some joy and comfort during these tough times.
@Nancy Lee. Prayers for your Father! Nurse Kathy
@@kathleensaenz4717 I'm also a nurse. Thank you for what you do from nurse to nurse. We have to have each other's support during these tough times.
Paula I truly miss you on food network! It’s so good to see you healthy and well. You are the cookbook to my life 🥰
It's Food Networks loss.
I made this today with splenda instead of sugar. It was awesome, Thanks Paula!
Much love💛
Thank you Sweet Lady! I've been building a chicken coop hen house with my daughter that is a "McMansion" lol at 8 foot by 8 foot in size during this quarantine to stay busy! Orphington & Leghorn chicks to go in it. Us ladies can do anything we set our minds to do. Stay safe & much love from Texas! 💗
God bless
Please keep the videos coming!!! I wish I could watch Paula make every single dish she cooks ☺️
Love how this looks homey and not tv styled!!
OH MY, I could listen to you all day, so relaxing to watch you bake for us, stay safe, hush those doggies...lol
She had me until rasins.
Chynah The Doll yeah, I am with you! I was like, “Wait! Raisins?! What insanity is that?!”
Optional.
Ooh raisins are my favorite 😋
My adults children love my banana bread but not Until I put RAISINS, they go bananas 😅😅😅
@@juliabmangaliag1988 lol! I'm with you! 🍌 🍌 🍌 Gone banana's!
I don't make bread loaves too often, but may have to soon. Pineapples go well in banana bread, too. Heck, I might throw rum soaked raisins in, also.
I just love ya Paula you have such a sweet personality you are by far my favorite ❤️🙏
If I had that kitchen I would set up a bed in the corner and never leave it. We southern girls love to cook and stuff our friends and family. Stay safe and best dishes.
Just made this and it is amazing!! Thank you!
That's the best looking banana bread I've ever seen! I know where your glasses are Paula.😂 Stay safe, stay healthy!🐾❤
I make banana split bread. Add mini chocolate chips, drained crushed pineapple, and maraschino cherries to the batter. Serve with a scoop of icecream and drizzle with chocolate sauce and add some whipped cream on top and top with another maraschino cherry.
Thanks for keeping us company during quarantine :) Newfoundland, Canada
We always put either Tuna Salad or Chicken Salad on top of a slice during Tea. It is really good
"Mmm hmmm, it's comin' tagetha y'all" 😍
I want to add choc chips and peanut butter chips.... nom nom. We love peanut butter and banana sandwiches so.....
I really enjoy these "covid-19" cooking videos. They feel so comfy and personal. THANK YOU PAULA and to your gang with you. I really am enjoying this time cooking with you. Be well ❤🙏💐
Keep those banana peelings and put around your roses roses love banana peelings I use them around my knock out roses
I wonder if we could make French Toast out of that? or the leftovers if there were any. Ha! Looks good Boo, might have to make some of that today.
What a great idea. I’m doing that. Yum
@GPAGE Ohhh, Nice! Something else to make. Love it! Thanks for the idea!
I cook as well when I am bored . But the problem is there is only 2 of us . And I cook like I have a crowd . That’s not good . If I don’t get out and start working in the yard .,They will remove me with a crane. Already made banana bread .,And it smells really good and fills the house with home meals
It looks wonderful❤I put butter on mine and chocolate chip's sound good to me😊thank's Paula❤
I love my daily dose of Paula Deen!!!!!!!!😘😘😘😘
That looks so good Paula. Im so glad to see you on you tube. Love you Paula and my husband says Teresa is one lucky dog to be getting leftovers from Paula Dean lol .
I made this recipe with a few minor adjustments. I used walnuts rather then pecans, chocolate chips rather then raisins, and sour cream rather then Greek yogurt. You talking about something so damn good, it’ll know your socks off?! Well this is it!
Top, bottom or vers?
I’m so happy I found you on TH-cam, Paula! I miss your show. Thank you!
Loving your youtube channel. Thank you for inviting us into your home and sharing some wonderful southern recipes. I have missed watching your show. Looking forward to more of quarantine cooking with Ms. Paula.
PAULA, YOUR GLASSES ARE TO YOUR LEFT 💋💋💋💋
Haha, she even grabbed the towel they were sitting on. 🤣
@texasun12 Bless your heart. ♥
Thank you for sharing Paula! I like to toast the banana bread and put peanut butter on it! Could you do a peach pie?
