My niece called me once to come and change the tire on her friends car. I was busy but dropped what I was doing to go help. As I was changing the tire the two of them were standing behind me complaining about their love lives and let loose the utterance “men are useless”. On that note I pulled my jack, gathered my tools and got back in my truck. They had the audacity to look confused. Edit: to answer a lot of people’s question- no they were not on the side of the road. They were in a church parking lot, and my niece had her car there. They weren’t stranded at all, but it was mid summer and hot as hell on a freshly paved lot, and I was already pretty beat when she called me. I was always the one everyone in the family called for everything and usually happy to do whatever was needed, but that day it just hit me wrong as they were just standing there offering no help at all. It was a lesson sorely needed.

Finally, somebody said it. For a minute these women had me out here thinking that all men were crazy or something it was honestly depressing because I do want to be married one day. #2 #4 and #5 really hit because the reality is that we can have equal rights and we do, but that doesn’t necessarily mean equal opportunities. You have to work for what you want. Not everything is going to be handed to you and if it was life would have less meaning. It’s important to understand that we have different biology than men. It may make us superior in some aspects (like the ability to carry and care for children) but in others men will always win. Their bodies are created differently because their traditional role was to provide and protect so trying to outstrength them simply won’t work. We don’t need to always try to be better. It makes us as bad as what we’re trying to fight which is often a problem that we made up.
I was in a serious relationship with a woman like this for awhile. I slowly lost who I was and I finally decided to leave. Now I am a free soul. I have peace.

Finally, somebody said it. For a minute these women had me out here thinking that all men were crazy or something it was honestly depressing because I do want to be married one day. As someone who has never been in a relationship, only ever befriended women, has a father who's at work 90% of the time, and no brothers I honestly don't know men at all, so it was easy for me to fall for what some people on TH-cam were saying. I had to stop and think and realized that there are just as much good men as there are good women my mind is now at ease and I can finally move on from this.

Not everything is going to be handed to you and if it was life would have less meaning. It’s important to understand that we have different biology than men. It may make us superior in some aspects (like the ability to carry and care for children) but in others men will always win. Their bodies are created differently because their traditional role was to provide and protect so trying to outstrength them simply won’t work. We don’t need to always try to be better. It makes us as bad as what we’re trying to fight which is often a problem that we made up.
