Brilliant. These are the ways my husband is affected by PD. His mobility is good,he can self care, self medicate, appetite fine and bowels good. Can drive competently still. Panic, overthinking, scared to do things, blinkered in his attitude, doesn't want to know, limits himself, constantly tired, fatigued, wakes up feeling mentally rotten, disturbed sleep. The programme helped me understand the many facets of PD and the advice and information was reassuring for me as his wife and care partner. P Heywood. UK

Apathy anxiety depression Insomnia stiffness slowness chronic pain
    Who wouldn't be depressed right!
Thank you for the great insight into this aspect of the disease. Chronic anxiety is cruel especially if it's almost untreatable. For me trazodone does not make me sleepy but it does help with my off times. Which I just learned was what was happening to me. I kept getting several bouts of anxiety each day.

My husband has extreme difficulty dealing with any stress. He has symptoms of crying , increased mobility difficulties. He has delusional paranoid thoughts, suicidal thoughts, weight loss. Its becoming increasingly difficult. He is referred to psychiatry. I know a lot of antipsychotics , antianxiety and antidepressants cannot be given to Parkinson's patients. Is there a list of drugs that are Parkinson's friendly ? Thanks
