Superb vid man !! Hope Polestar make some changes to be more efficient. For example having a 225/55/R18 tire & wheel. This would increase the range for sure :)
@@alexander5029 I know, I know. Of course the Polestar PP can not have a 225/55/R18. But my concern is, if the NON Performance, could have that tire dimension. Do you know if I could if a 18 '' wheel to the base Polestar 2 ? Thanks :)
@@alexander5029 Perfect ! The main issue, is the size of the front disc and caliber. I would like to fit a 18x8 '' wheel. To have more confort, and increase the range. Do you think I could fit it ? THanks so much :)
How does the m3 lr compare to the ps2 lr today with heat pump included? I will be ordering one of these cars soon and range, comfort and trouble free ownership are the most important aspects for me and my family. I have mixed feeling regarding owning a ps2 due to the companys way of profit is to get the buyers to "stick with them" for service during the lifetime of the car(not facts just what I believe). What I mean is that maybe PS could say that "if you don't do your serviceintervalls at our workshop/dealer we will limit you from being able to do sw update through the air in the future...". Am I overthinking this? I own a volvo v70 and you do get some "extra service " when leaving the car at their place workshop. Tesla seams to be more upfront regarding the ownership meaning that you pay a whole lot for the car and then they "recommend " checking the brakes and other parts that wear out every 2 years. This is what I espect from a EV car, meaning that I don't have to do much after the purchase. Sorry for comparing these two cars in this forum, Kris, you have done a wonderful job here, bravo! I have read so much that I am going crazy :). So, if there are anybody out there with some personal thoughts regarding this I will be happy to hear you. Have a great day! Best regards from Sweden
@@KrisRifa Yes, I have seen it, just wondering if there was any chances? My Polestar varies a lot (even conditions are similar) and I wonder if you have experienced the same?
Correct. It's also a restaurant/cafe and a big swimming pool on the ground floor that's open to the public. (20x 11kW AC chargers and Tesla Superchargers there too.. 🙂)
So about 300km in the cold + PP tires? The throttling charge speed seems to be Polestar being safe on the battery pack more than anything at this time, since we already know how well older Model S batteries with Tesla's aggressive charging curves are doing over age & mileage. I much rather Polestar/Volvo have decent battery capacity once these cars are in the used market 6~8 years down the road.
One day you're gonna get a cut in your driver's license for holding your phone/camera while driving. It's extremely dangerous and you should just find a way to mount it instead.
There is no law prohibiting me to hold and film with a camera, and even the police have publicly said that the law prohibiting phone use while driving does not apply to using the camera on the phone. It would be one thing to use and look at my phone, but this is not the same and I have been doing this for five years without a single incident. I also try to use auto steer when possible, if not I try to drive slow like in this video. That being said, I am looking to find a type of mount that would allow me to have the camera minted but still allow me to move it around 😊
Can't wait for the ID.4 test!
One of the biggest reasons for the reduced wltp on the Performance Pack is the sporty tires. They are rated to 350 km/h and are really grippy.
Thats nice an all, but the car can only do 205Kph.
Great review Kris. Thank you.
Thanks 😊

Thanks mate! Yeah that would be awesome!
Not for the Performance Pack, because of the big Brembos only 20" fits, no 19" or smaller.

@@gery4870 I have the Non-PP: only 20" and 19" in COC allowed, front 19x8" and rear 19x9" , perhaps some OEMs in the future

Filling in for TeslaBjorn while he is down. Great vid. Hopefully they work on that charging curve some more.

Nice video’s!
How long time did the charging to 80% take? Are going to post a video on that?
I have a video on this on my channel from a few weeks back 😊
