    Bergamot is a citrus fruit.
Bergamot is a type of citrus fruit that belongs to the Rutaceae family, which also includes oranges, lemons, and limes. It's primarily grown in southern Italy, particularly in the Calabria region, and is renowned for its distinctive fragrance and flavor.
The fruit is roughly the size of an orange but has a yellow or greenish color when ripe. Its peel is aromatic and is used to extract bergamot essential oil, which is widely used in perfumes, cosmetics, and aromatherapy due to its refreshing and uplifting scent.
Bergamot is also used in culinary applications, particularly in flavoring Earl Grey tea, as well as in some regional dishes. It adds a unique citrusy and floral flavor to foods and beverages.
Additionally, bergamot oil is known for its potential health benefits, including its use in traditional medicine for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. However, it's important to note that bergamot oil can be photosensitive, meaning it can increase sensitivity to sunlight, so caution should be exercised when using it topically.
Nobiletin is an interesting compound. I wonder if anyone has checked bergamot for Nobiletin?:
Nobiletin is a naturally occurring flavonoid found in citrus fruits, particularly in the peels of oranges and tangerines. It belongs to a class of compounds known as flavonoids, which are plant metabolites with antioxidant properties.
Research suggests that nobiletin may have several potential health benefits, including anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and neuroprotective effects. Some studies have indicated that nobiletin may help reduce inflammation in the body, which could be beneficial for conditions such as arthritis and cardiovascular disease.
Additionally, nobiletin has been studied for its potential anticancer properties. Some research suggests that it may inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induce apoptosis, or programmed cell death, in certain types of cancer.
Furthermore, nobiletin has shown promise in preclinical studies as a neuroprotective agent, meaning it may help protect against neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's

Plants dont have more than 30-40% of our needed nutriants and viatmins. 7th day advents vilified meat in the 50's and thus pushed agriculture and the plant future began. I gave up 90% of plants after many yrs no energy, brain fog, arthritus etc.Meat protein gave me my life back.
