The only tea leaf farm in North America is in South Carolina. Its a great tour. You learn that tea is made from tea leaves. Black tea and green tea are the same leaves. They are oxidized for different times. Teas from anything else are called infusions. Dont mistakenly think that steeping orange peel rinds and cranberries is a tea. If you want the health beneifts discussed herein, you need to make sure there is tea leaves included.

    Bergamot is a citrus fruit.
Bergamot is a type of citrus fruit that belongs to the Rutaceae family, which also includes oranges, lemons, and limes. It's primarily grown in southern Italy, particularly in the Calabria region, and is renowned for its distinctive fragrance and flavor.
The fruit is roughly the size of an orange but has a yellow or greenish color when ripe. Its peel is aromatic and is used to extract bergamot essential oil, which is widely used in perfumes, cosmetics, and aromatherapy due to its refreshing and uplifting scent.
Bergamot is also used in culinary applications, particularly in flavoring Earl Grey tea, as well as in some regional dishes. It adds a unique citrusy and floral flavor to foods and beverages.
Additionally, bergamot oil is known for its potential health benefits, including its use in traditional medicine for its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. However, it's important to note that bergamot oil can be photosensitive, meaning it can increase sensitivity to sunlight, so caution should be exercised when using it topically.
Nobiletin is an interesting compound. I wonder if anyone has checked bergamot for Nobiletin?:
Nobiletin is a naturally occurring flavonoid found in citrus fruits, particularly in the peels of oranges and tangerines. It belongs to a class of compounds known as flavonoids, which are plant metabolites with antioxidant properties.
Research suggests that nobiletin may have several potential health benefits, including anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and neuroprotective effects. Some studies have indicated that nobiletin may help reduce inflammation in the body, which could be beneficial for conditions such as arthritis and cardiovascular disease.
Additionally, nobiletin has been studied for its potential anticancer properties. Some research suggests that it may inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induce apoptosis, or programmed cell death, in certain types of cancer.
Furthermore, nobiletin has shown promise in preclinical studies as a neuroprotective agent, meaning it may help protect against neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's

Awesome video!! I love tea:) What do you think about the ceremonial green tea powder? Also I drink a bunch of different teas all loose leaf, like butterfly pea, raspberry leaf, saffron, dandelion, chicory ect… do you intend to research anything other than the common teas?

Very interesting. I like you even more as you said my fave tea is possibly the best! I haven’t put mine in the fridge though. Maybe ill try it on a summer morning or two! But then, i have a quality cup filter coffee a.m. not the mass coffee with additives like aluminium and fillers!! Incidentally what do you think of the jasmine tea/Chinese chrysanthemum teas that open like a flower? I notice an immediate effect, but dont have any at moment as i dont know where is hygienic and safe after COVID!!
Oh, and do you make your own tea from plants and herbs in the garden? If so, what is your fave’ blend or tea? I love bergamots they’re such a pretty flowering plant. Not sure if they just use the leaves or flowers or both.

Thankyou for sharing this wonderful , positive research with us. So much information to improve our health. I drink my green tea with cinnamon stick and slices of lemon which I really enjoy. Sometimes I also add a black teabag as well.
If just having black tea, does adding a small amount of milk reverse the health benefits of the black tea? I would be grateful for comments or suggestions to make the most of the health benefits while enjoying my tea🌱💗
