I never would have thought tail chasing would be such a serious issue, but poor Ronnie, I'm just amazed that it was almost like doggy OCD and that is was distressing him. Fantastic to see that he's hopefully sorted out with this new but simple trick. I really hope the little guy gets on with his forever home!
I've heard of cases where the chasing and biting was so bad that eventually the vets had to amputate the tail. This is after mild sedatives and wrapping the tail, therapy didn't help either. After he lost the tail he was fine.
Everyone has such creative names for their beloved extended families. I ❤ it. And these vets are very good with their diagnosis. They sound so wild and far fetched, but when they are explained... they make perfect sense. Great vets. ❤🌸👍.
Had a longhair dachshund that that thought he was a heeler to my mules. Got kicked in the head hard enough to cause concussion with vision and balance difficulty. First vet thought he had antifreeze poisoning, and sent us to emergency clinic for antidote. Vet bill was $400. Had to rehome him to keep him from being killed.
Little Schnitzel needs a pet! Pretty bad when you have to get a pet for your pet! Maybe get a kitten. It can bond with the pup and be a working barn cat too!
We had a Cairn Terrier that chased her tail like that. She was still a puppy as this developed. One morning she caught her tail and bit the end so bad she was bleeding terribly. With the vet we tried distraction and an anti-anxiety drug to stop this OCD. Then we had tranquilizers if we had to work with her like grooming. But we ended up docking her tail half way. The vet's concern was having her switch to her leg if there was no tail. That didn't work so we docked the tail completely. With the meds and us watching when she needed distraction, worked for us. She had to have knee surgery and needed to be kept still. She started going after the bandaged leg. We ended up adding the tranquilizer to her pain meds so she could stay calm and rest. And we could rest because it ended being constant chasing. We saw the vet behaviourist and got her on a new medication for anti-anxiety because the other she'd been on for 10 years and this new one was for dogs. This worked better and this was how we managed her OCD. We still had to watch if she got stressed and made sure to distract and then with the tranquilizers as back up. I know most people would probably not have bothered with her, but we made the decision to take care of her. She was the happiest little pup and loved her Mom.💖💖💖
cases like cheeky can also be caused by petting a bird on the back, under the wings, or on their tail! it can cause a hormonal response in the bird leading to destructive behavior towards both itself and you. always pet a bird on the head or feet!!
It’s a poddy calf, mums either passed or has twins or otherwise can’t care for it. It’s being bottle fed until it’s weaned and able to be independent. It’s tied up because at that age they can wander off and get lost without mum.
the Tail chaser I had friend who had dog that had same problem for years they tried to solve problem by training , distractions even medications but he never took to the help in fact it got worse and blood was shed (from his tail) they ended up docking his tail more for health reasons then to stop the tail aggression
My son's dog hasn't been diagnosed but she never needs her nails clipped because she bites them down herself. It's so bad that she sets every place she plays on by the constant licking and biting. They I'm ns.
No Jack Russell is a normal pet dog. They are the highest energy dogs on the planet, and the breed choice must match the family as particulary active and athletic each and every day. Walkies an hour a day, PLUS play time.
Put Ronny in the cone of shame until the tail healed. Or if all else fails, lose the tail. And if he still has obsessive compulsive disorder. Doggy Training, exhaust him during the day, stuffed animals. Doggy drugs is not always the answer.
It's fairly normal with shitzu. Dogs actually do this to clean after themselves. (so for example mother dogs eat their pup's poop so bacteria can't spread.) Try teaching your dogs 'leave it'
cheecky is so cool. and cool name and owner as these women are so strong. and taking these calfs. disgusting. away from their mothers. and tying them on a short rope.
The Jack needs a job. He really needs to be taught fetch. This will help him to feel he has purpose and stop the self-destructive behavior. This obsession is normal for this breed. He just has to be given health exercise tasks and games.
no idea why, i love animals but that little dog just got me so mad. the incessant licking, the compulsion. i could hear it through the screen lol, especially growling at the child the most are you fkm momemt.
Donkey Lady is definitely a level 20 retired paladin
Yeah.... One very special human being.... Sadly, they are too rare!!!

Yeah, and Ronnie's a Jack Russel, which predisposes him to neurosis.

Except for no tail.

Ronnie is adorable. Esp wen he's watching himself on the laptop.
I would love to see more animal obsessions in the future. They are fascinating.
Runny watching himself is so cute!
Merry Christmas to all. Love the way Tim took care of Frankie.
The ear button is adorable omg
Who would have thought dandelions would be toxic to donkeys? You learn something new everyday.
Actually it's a false dandy. True dandys are ok to consume
Frankie stole my heart! 😍😍😍
Merry Christmas to Chris and All the Vets and all the animals. I was told when a dog like Ronny does that because he is bored
the kangaroo is the saddest and cutest little thing
This video was exceptionally interesting. I never thought about animal obsessions previously.
Why don’t you try giving the joey a binky? It seems to work with baby bats. Oh, you did!
I thought the same thing, tape it to his 🦶 foot.
Merry Christmas to all of the critters around the world, and the vets that take care of them.
Happy New Year to Dr. Chris and all to other amazing vets, and to Tim Faulkner ✨✨🎊🎇. Little kangaroo was so adorable 🦘💕.
it's so funny how dogs turn their heads back and forth like that's not me
Merry Christmas all! I'm babysitting my best friend's Maltipoo, Dolly today. AKA my fur niece. She says Merry Christmas too. 🤶 🎅🎄
I can watch Bondi Vet and their escapades for months on end ....love it...from 🇿🇦
The donkey walks like a soldier 😅

Definitely #4 is the best by far. Sorry Dr. Chris but Tim's fashion statement is the best. LOL.

That was immediate! Chris is the man!
Love how they can solve the problems of the animals they work with! Such clever ideas!!
I just found this channel. Very interesting, I hope that they found a friend for Ronnie at the end!!!

Wow
Of course she loved her mom. She had an awesome one!
Why are those calfs chained so low down to the ground :-(
Kudos Tim!

Loved Frankie the Joey. Cutest.
30:27 why is that young calf chained to a tree
Happy New Year all! We used sox on our human thumb suckers. I got cured by mumps!
I need that training girl to come and train my cat. That would be the biggest challenge in her life !!
Training cats isn't hard they like food reward them for good behaviour
That little Kangaroo needs a pacifier oops I should have watched the whole thing ☺
Wow Tim u really did it with Frankie. I absolutely love it.💜🙏
Merry christmas and happy new year
... ..poor calf
Yay more bondi content \o/
Schnitzel is a really cute dog and i would love to have him
Why is the baby calf chained up away from its mother?
That's what I wanna know
To be able to grt and sell ALL the milk, and to cause him anaemia and muscle atrophy to make meat pale and tender. VEAL MEAT IS CRUELTY
It’s a poddy calf, mums either passed or has twins or otherwise can’t care for it. It’s being bottle fed until it’s weaned and able to be independent. It’s tied up because at that age they can wander off and get lost without mum.

Merry Christmas 🎄🎀☃️
💖 Bondi and Chris miss the Ol Bloke 🤗.
JO JO IN 🇺🇸☃️ 🎄☃️
Merry Christmas 🎄
I hope schnitzel makes a friend 🥺
Merry Christmas to you all, 🎄🎁❤
In the US we call that crab grass. It's really a p.i.t.a.
Cute
birdy looks like pikachu lol
My dad’s dog does the same thing as Ronnie. It’s doggie autism. Put him on Prozac.
I feel bad for schnitzel
My son's dog hasn't been diagnosed but she never needs her nails clipped because she bites them down herself. It's so bad that she sets every place she plays on by the constant licking and biting. They I'm ns.
Why was that calf just chained up sitting there
No Jack Russell is a normal pet dog. They are the highest energy dogs on the planet, and the breed choice must match the family as particulary active and athletic each and every day. Walkies an hour a day, PLUS play time.
The No. 1 Datsun parents need to start parenting. Set boundaries.
I used wooden balls on the bottom of her cage and it helped with frustration.
Ronnie is an easy fix. Get the tail off. Easy.
the other dogs probly think annoying little brother lol
So Dusty, was eating dandelion, some people smoke it.
Put Ronny in the cone of shame until the tail healed. Or if all else fails, lose the tail. And if he still has obsessive compulsive disorder. Doggy Training, exhaust him during the day, stuffed animals. Doggy drugs is not always the answer.
Good morning we have a dog ,the problem with our shitzu doggies they eat thier poops. Can you help me with our problem and what we will do with that

have you heard of the animal chiropractor he does amazing things for animals
Why not just get Cheeky a boyfriend??!! LOL
Then she will have unwanted babies
I feel sorry for the cow! And I'm not surprised the other dogs don't wany anything to do with Schnitzel. He's annoying!
I have a 5 month old kitten like this it's like a game with him how can I get him to stop
Flatweed? It looks like dandelion? What is the proper name?
Cheeky you and I both girl. You and I both. Me too Frankie. I don’t like pink either. Or socks.
Perhaps dusty has a "HIGHER" understanding of "THE SCHEME OF THINGS"...everything is done for a reason
This must be a dairy farm they separate the calves from the mother's sell the males for veal..😭
Exactly. VEAL= CRUELTY
mabey he was a soccer player in another life
Why are the calves tied up like dogs
cheecky is so cool. and cool name and owner as these women are so strong. and taking these calfs. disgusting. away from their mothers. and tying them on a short rope.
Hey this is Soo 😢 sad

💃🕺💃🕺💃🕺
Should look at making suckers for animals like we do for human babies
The dog needs a obstacle course and a paddling pool. The humans need to adjust to him before he becomes drugged and overweight .
Where are the comments 😔
It should not be chained it’s wrong 😢
the editing and scripting in this gives me severe anxiety.
no idea why, i love animals but that little dog just got me so mad. the incessant licking, the compulsion. i could hear it through the screen lol, especially growling at the child the most are you fkm momemt.
FIRST
cheeky the cockatiel is male because of yellow orange spots females have grey spots
Sorry, incorrect.
I have a breeding pair of cockatiels in which have produced chicks, are currently sitting on eggs now and both have orange spots.
They have a automatic ball throwing toy be perfect for him
Ronnie needs a treat ball toy or have his tail removed off to make him stop
Binkie or booties on the kingaroo baby or a stuff animal
They say the animals do look like their owners
