@@bethcorey6022 Oh Beth, I know. I was almost in tears when Chris had to leave him behind. But the great thing is that Leroy survived the operation and, not only that, he recovered really quickly. Now he just has to learn to be a sheep again. Because he's gorgeous and tiny now, but of course, he's going to be a very big boy soon. ❤❤❤ Love from Amanda in Melbourne, Australia ❤️
I live on a ranch in Texas. I totally wanted to rescue Leroy but I am so sure he is where he needs to be. Thank you Dr Chris for giving Leroy your love & expertise. ❤
That guy with his cat is amazing. My childhood cat died at 19...we grew up together and he was my best friend. I also used to take care of my neighbor’s cats for around ten years. I fell in love with them. But when one of them died, the other simply wasted away and died a month later. It was heartbreaking. This man’s love for his cat has kept her going. He’s wonderful and his love for Sadie is completely understandable. An amazing person and a lovely cat ❤️
Poor little Leroy. You could just tell he didn't feel so good before and right after his surgery. But he made such a big improvement with his energy. You could just see the life returned to his eyes after he and Chris started to bond. So precious.
There isn't my 2 black cats were 18 and 19when they died, mick went out laid in the sun and never woke up again, mork his litter mate unfortunately had to be pts as his kidneys had stopped working. I miss them and my other cats I've had over the years.
@@robadams5799 I like this " writing a card for your cat that PROBABLY can't read" never heard of any cat or dog who can read, some humans can't never mind animals. Xx loved it ❤
Aw, the love the guy had for his 18 year old cat! Really hope she can hit 20 years! It is sweet the love he has for his cat, even if some may think it's "over the top". The cat adores him back, no one is getting hurt, and if anything, Sadie just gets lots and lots and lots of love! It should only be an issue if people's love for their pets causes someone to get hurt, like the hoarders that have tons of cats that end up getting neglected.
The stroller is such a good idea though. My cat is terrified of cars and suffers a lot whenever I have to uber to the vet so I might take a page off this guy's book :)
When I was 2 years old my mom gave birth to my second sister who I named Chookie! Being of Scottish descent on my mom's side I must have thought my mom had gotten me a chicken! I called her Chook for short. To this day she hates that name. I turned 86 on January 3rd, 2023. I hear the word chook almost every time I see one of my very favorite "shows" Bondi Vets on my computer! I would love to come down to Australia someday to visit with all of you. I live in Auburn, Washington, USA. Thank you, Tim, Chris, and all the rest of you for putting "Bondi Vets" on the internet!
Firstly, congratulations on your 86th birthday! Second, congratulations on understanding how to use your tablet, laptop, or whatever to enjoy all these wonderful videos! My mother is from Nottingham England and she's about your age, but all she excels in is complaining. It's unfortunate that she's missing out on all these wonderful video opportunities.
The most gorgeous veterinarian in the world is also one of the most creative vets as well. I thoroughly enjoy watching these little anthologies that document the wonderful relationships that develop between vets and patients and the people who share their lives with rescued animals, adored pets and farm animals. Watching Dr. Chris Brown is always a delight.
I have watched many of the excellent episodes, but the ones where Dr. Chris bonds with his four-legged patients are the best. I suspect that sweet Leroy was a bit depressed after Dr. Chris left.

I got two perfect cats after mine died when I was 18. Two perfect cats going strong at 37. The one time one couldn't stand up all of a sudden I immediately called out of work and took him to the vet nearly every person I worked with said it's just a cat you should have been there for us. I said they were there before you and will probably last longer too with that disregard for life. He almost did die but after two types of antibiotics he's very much alive just very expensive. I no longer have that job but I still have my cats.
Animals are our family. Coworkers who are rude to our loved ones are certainly not. Glad you got a better job with better people. Also I’m glad you took your cat in!
I went to collage the day my cat dried and couldn’t stop crying, my tutors were like, “go home” they didn’t understand why I came in and either do I. You just can’t replace them.

As a responsible pet owner, please take your kitten to the vet ASAP as it needs to be vaccinated against many common feline diseases. If you take good care of your cat’s medical health then it should hopefully live a long time and give you many years of joy. Its vaccines will also need to be renewed as directed by your vet.
