THE 5.7 HEMI RAM IS LEGENDARY!!!!! This has been and still is my dream truck ever since 10th grade! God is good! Now I'm going to be ripping through the night in my all black HEMI RAM BEAST, blasting my deathcore metal, leaving trails of destruction everywhere I go 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

The smile when you start it up says enough. Was dead set on getting an f150 because of my work but I'm about 80 20 in favor of the 1500 now.
Get a Ram! You will thank yourself! Hands down best trucks on the road! Their interiors are lightyears ahead of anything Ford or Chevy has to offer, most comfortable, smooth riding truck on the market right now! Theres really no comparison, you get SOOOO much more for your money with Ram than compared to FORD....it should honestly be illegal

My mechanic has been a GM guy for years and he just got the ram laramie just like yours with a 10K discount and he says he loves it and doesn't regret getting it
I have the Longhorn version of this truck....I'm still amazed every time i get in my truck! I honestly couldn't imagine how a truck could get any nicer! ....the ride quality, and comfortability of these trucks is off the charts! I honestly couldn't imagine why I would ever give my money to anyone other than RAM when it comes to a pickup. I loved my 4th gen Laramie but RAM really hit it outa the park with these 5th gens!

Agreed 150 % .I just traded in my 2014 Ford F150 Limited (186 K miles) I brought new 8 years ago. I now own a 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport (38K miles).. Wow !!... The ride, the toys, the PERFORMANCE !! I'm getting better gas mileage with my Hemi than I was with my 6 banger. My 9 speaker Alpine sound system kicks the sheeet out of the Bose in my Limited. There are so many superior items that I just don't have time to list right now. Suffice to say I am now a Ram convert !!

Before even seeing this video. Last week I got the 2020 Laramie Night Edition. And I was in awe when I first saw it. I’m a first time truck owner. And I’m loving every bit of it.
Did you get the 2wd or 4x4? I went with 2wd and am happy with it.
I got the 4x4. It has a selector if I want 4wdauto , 2wd, 4wdhi and lo. It’s pretty sick. I just use 2wd for now. But once snow comes I’ll use 4wd auto.
Just bought the 2021 ram Laramie night edition decked out and I seriously could not be happier
Good video. I have the Longhorn. Still love the truck to this day. Love to hit the highway and cruise on air. Great ride and comfort without a doubt.

Just took the new 2020 Ram Laramie Sport on it's first mini road trip with the family up to Estes Park, CO and we all absolutely loved it. I agree with everything you mentioned in your video plus more. It drives ridiculously smooth for a truck and handles the rough parts of the road very well. The Ram is extremely quite inside the cabin, even at highway speeds. I can't decide what I love more, the 12 inch UCONNECT screen or the panoramic roof. The 10 speaker Alpine stereo thumps. The seats are very comfy with lots of adjustments and the interior is well thought out, especially the center console. I also love the heated seats and heated steering wheel during the colder months. This truck is huge inside and your back seat companions will be plenty comfortable with the reclining seats and ample legroom. I think my son felt like he had his own space in the back seat where he could watch movies or play his games. My truck did not come with the powered sidesteps, but I plan to add those soon as it will make getting in and out much easier for everyone. Power from the Hemi V8 is awesome, 395 hp and 410 ft. lbs of torque. The engine is quiet unless you hit it hard and then you understand why you got the Hemi 5.7 Liter. All in all, it is a beautiful truck and I feel I made the right decision with all the other truck options out there. I got a smokin deal on this lease with only the first payment due at signing over 36 months and 15,000 miles all for $556 a month. My only concern is how the reliability will fair. I have had other Chrysler products in the past and have not been so lucky with the quality over time. The customer service is also lacking a bit at Chrysler. Maybe now that this truck is the number one rated truck, reliability and customer service will improve. We shall see. I won't have to worry too much though as I only have three years to test drive this beast. If all goes well, I may just buy it at lease end.

I have a 2020 Laramie Sport and I love it. I added the the electric steps, calipers covers, dark tint. Mine came with 26 inch rims (with a leveling kit) matching lid and all the extras. I think I like it more then the Limiteds. Too bad we can’t post pics lol 😝

How much headroom difference is there with a sunroof? I am 6'6".
You can tell that this guy really loves his truck. This makes me happy. I will be feeling the same way soon when I purchase my first truck which will either be the Ram 1500 Laramie or the F150 Lariat.
Same boat, are you worried about the 5.0 engine oil problem? I was closing in on the f150 till I read some problematic posts.

@@ksn1150 I absolutely love it. I got a 19 Ram 1500 Laramie with the 5.7 Hemi. It's been such a fun truck to drive and it's like I'm driving a luxury vehicle. I've had several people ask if they can look inside it and ask questions about it. Definitely recommended.
@@BlountForce thanks for quick reply. I do have Toyota tundra but they are bit behind competitors with technology and luxury. It's all black 2016 and great truck but felt they are bit behind. Reliable truck and not much in the service except oil changes but afraid of many negative comments with ram

Everything is black. Even your wedding band! It’s cool. I like black in trucks but I’ll stick to gold for my ring. I’m debating a 2021 Ram or wait for a new body style Tundra this year or in 2021.

The pricing for the laremies is nuts
The pricing on pickups in general is nuts
The gear selector makes sense to me. There hasn’t been a shifter connected to the trans in anyway for years. It’s just data commands over the can bus. They kept the shifter longer than they needed to because people enjoy moving the dummy stick.
Steve Pounder I bought a 2019 power wagon last year and thought I’d hate the dial shifter. I ended up loving it.
I literally got a Ford ad! lol
The truck is the same exact thing as the 2019 with the exception of the split tail gate

Sooo, last year I got the wife a 2019 Jeep GC High Altitude and it is amazing. We have the bright white with the crystal granite accents and wheels, it looks really mean. The attention to detail is amazing in these FCG vehicles. She just gave me the green light to order a 2021 Ram limited Blackout (I know, she loves me). The good thing is we are stationed in Germany and I went to our MAS to build my truck and was just told that due to COVID Ram is offering all Military 2021 at 2020 pricing. Of course I went all out $78k build (eco diesel). I can’t wait to take a road trip to Italy or Amsterdam in this thing before we return to COVID capital USA.

Would you recommend this 2020 Ram 1500 over the 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport for a family of 4?
I definitely would! Without a doubt. The only time I’d say to go for the Tacoma, would be is if you plan on doing a lot of off roading. The Tacoma would definitely be better since it’s so much smaller and the off road accessories are amazing. But as far as comfort, convenience, power and size, this 1500 Ram is amazing and leaps ahead of the Tacoma. The way I see it, Tacoma = small family maybe 2 kids and off road driving. Ram 1500 = larger family, more towing, comfy ride.

I’ve only had good things with my experience on these trucks. I don’t know how the 2020’s are, but if I had the money, I’d buy one over anything else. One heck of an awesome truck. Just make sure you get a good warranty with the truck if you’re worried about problems!

I wish they would bring a tan inteior option back without having to opt for the longhorn. Im so tired of blacked out interiors. They're impossible to keep looking clean.

Is that the laramie limited? I just bought a 2020 Laramie today and it didn't come with the automatic steps, split tailgate or the 12 uconnect screen. Mine has the 8.4 inch screen. So far I love it, rides like a Cadillac and handles amazingly, also has awesome acceleration for a truck.
This was just the Laramie, although it had a hefty amount of dealer add-ons including the steps, screen, tailgate and more.

Just ordered mine picking it up Saturday morning but it was TOUGH finding a Laramie with the 12” screen without paying Longhorn money. I didn’t get the steps or the sprayed bed to compensate the price but steps and bed cover are on Amazon for cheap!
I’ve got a ‘17 Laramie. Still in love with my truck. Def lovin these new one’s but not yet ready to trade in. Mine, leveled, debadged, fuel 20x10 wheels -24 offset on 33 x 12.5 nittos.

Love the truck but hate that giant ass Tesla type screen, I like the Truck better with the half of screen with the actual buttons and dials it's much easier to use and far less distracting
The 12" screen is an option. It's not like their putting a horse's head in your bed to make you have it.

What’s the difference in the limited and the Laramie??
Very small differences, a few more chrome here and there, a few more factory options like side steps, really not worth it in my opinion
@@AlexKorobov I am purchasing a new Limited. It's only 2,000k more than the one you just demo'd and it has tons more features - full leather, H&K audio (which is killer!), side step, 22" wheels. The one I am looking at has every option except the Ram box and the split tailgate. So for the money, I think the Limited makes more sense. But hey... JMO!! Great review, BTW!

FCA has gotten a Bad Wrap over the years on Quality Control, especially paint & the last 3.0 Eco Diesel ! I've seen lots of happy & lots of Pissed-Off Ram Truck owner reviews ! Please give us a review at 50,000 Miles....Lol
I have the EcoDiesel in my 2017.
Runs like new with 250,000kms.
I just got a 22’ Sport with the Hemi.
I had 2 previous Hemi’s but decided to get a EcoDiesel since gas was high.
Turns out gas is lower where I live and it’s cheaper to drive the new one than my old one.
I kept the EcoDiesel though for work, hoping to get to a million miles lol.

Be careful with the 5th gen RAMS. Many people are experiencing 12-13mpg with the 5.7 while others are getting 17-18. And it is independent of rear axle ratio. My 3.21 getting 12mpg.
