Ya zbrush was made primarily for sculpting only 🤣 so they don’t really focus on rendering or exporting images out. The best thing is to sculpt in zbrush and then use blender, marmoset or maya to render out beautiful final art.

My bpr mask and my exported psd don't match up for some reason. Any idea what it could be?

Did you change the models position or angle in your scene!? Make sure you keep it the same during export of both

Do you know how to export an image with BPR transparency on? I have a sculpt in zbrush that is meant to be viewed when it is transparent but I want to change the background and be able to work on it as a 2d image

Hi 👋, zBrush allows you to save the alpha channel separately so then you have to apply it in photoshop to make your image transparent so that you can change the background.

this is NOT a transparent image. why i cant find ANYTHING about exporting a REAL transparent image to ps like a glass marble or something? and nobody can answer me if its even possible or not! what the hell

Hey 👋 sorry for your frustration… zbrush doesn’t have an actual transparency shader so you must use other apps like Maya or Blender to render out your model. This is just a transparent background trick. This is why the new zbrush has RedShift renderer but you have to buy that.

@@uistudiosnah its ok, after you made the material bpr transparent you still cant export it to keep transparency but after exporting to photoshop, use the mask you need to cut out the glass part then lower the transparency. not 100% the same but its fine.

    Hello,
I have a problem with the Ctrl and click option ( Minute 2:10 ).
Is there another way to make the selection?
    Thanks

Yes of course, you could just use the selection wand to create the alpha selection on your alpha mask image and then simply drag your selection onto your actual rendered image so you don’t even have to use channels.
