They like me were not born yet! The big thing is that when I started we didn't have the threads that we have now, never mind all the fine material we tie with today. I took a hackle off of a midge saddle # 22 the feather was a good 8 inches long and I tie 15 # 22 Griffiths Gnats with that one feather and still had enough to tie a couple more. Feathers like that was not around for no amount of money 44 years ago.
