That’s my problem, I always try to give good advice to fix my friend’s problems and she never listens. And after a while idk how to tell her politely that I don’t want to hear about it anymore because clearly she doesn’t want to fix the issues she’s allowing 🙃
I feel you , it gets draining after a while especially when you repeated yourself 1000 times.Just be straight up with the person and tell them how you feel about them not listening and if they don’t want to be in your life anymore because of it then that saids more about them then it does about you, either way you win
In most cases, misery loves company. You can still be friends, but it might be time to move on if they keep making it more difficult for you to maintain a clean atmosphere around you.
I think the best way to take things is to not help others who don’t want to be helped. That said, the point shouldn’t be to not help others at all. Humans didn’t make it this far by working together and valuing community just for us to now completely ditch them.
Also, saying that you shouldn’t want to help others is so antithetical to what it means to be human. Humans care for each other and again, that’s how we’ve made it so far. The point shouldn’t be to not care or want to help someone. It should be to not help others who won’t or refuse help from others.
